**Reviewed by:** Lina B. | Cybersecurity Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Riot?**

The Riot team is very dynamic, attentive and provides good support.
The solution is highly innovative, combining phishing and awareness, which is its strength.
The courses offered are interactive, short and interesting. The user is never bored, doesn't waste a lot of time and remains aware of cyber risks.
I highly recommend it.

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

The Riot platform offers many features, but needs a consolidated global view for an overall view.
In the “Awareness” section, some of the information available on the platform are not exportable, unfortunately.

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Riot allows us to effectively raise the global awareness about cybersecurity, reduce human vulnerabilities through realistic simulations, and significantly improve our overall security posture.

  ### 2. Tryriot at the top!

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Riot?**

Simplicity, support on the platform at the beginning, the KPIs we can add, the evolution in cybersecurity awareness among all our employees. It is a simple, fun, and serious tool that aligns well with our company's DNA.

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

Everything is fine, I have nothing negative to say.

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Awareness and especially the prevention of major problems that could arise and cost a lot to the company's image.

  ### 3. Simple and effective

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sebastien T. | Responsable des systèmes d'informations, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Riot?**

Ease of setup and configuration. The integration of Albert with Teams really adds value to this solution, allowing for better employee engagement in awareness.

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

I would like to have more freedom in customizing existing phishing email templates. Additionally, the feature to set a period/time for triggering a simulation is missing.

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Awareness of cybersecurity and the culture of IT risk.

  ### 4. Great cybersecurity awarness tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Xavier F. | CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Riot?**

I've been using Riot for a while now, and I have to say, it's a really solid cybersecurity tool. The interface is clean and easy to navigate, which makes setting things up pretty straightforward.

The training modules are engaging, well-structured and they cover a lot of important cybersecurity topics without feeling overwhelming. I also really appreciate the phishing simulation feature. It’s simple to set up and does a good job of testing and improving awareness.

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

Rescheduling missed training sessions can be a bit confusing.

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Riot allows us to implement a cybersecurity awareness program in alignment with ISO 27001 requirements.

  ### 5. Awareness and simulation - very effective services, an intuitive platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Glass, Ceramics & Concrete | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Riot?**

The platform is user-friendly, its interface allows for quick handling. Awareness through Teams is perfectly suited to the needs of our company, with a playful approach. The phishing simulation tool, with existing scenarios and the possibility to create to our liking, has allowed us to effectively challenge our users, helping them learn to recognize phishing attempts. RIOT is a very good solution to strengthen our users' preparedness on cyber topics.

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

In the existing version, no questionnaires at the end of the modules, possibility to complete the courses without knowing if it has been well read, etc. (knowing that an evolution is being deployed on this subject in 2025)

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Users could easily follow the courses at their own pace.

  ### 6. Albert a good companion to raise awareness about cybersecurity

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Riot?**

An effective and fun approach to cybersecurity awareness and an easy-to-use product.
The ability to plan, follow up, and conduct reminders is very relevant to our goal of raising awareness among our teams.
Phishing campaigns are also relevant. Combining awareness with campaigns adds another dimension to the product.
In addition, the RIOT team is present and available to improve the experience of their product and support us in our cyber approach.

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

Phishing email templates need to be improved.
Improvements to the onboard AI should soon address this issue.

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Help raise awareness among employees about cybersecurity in a fun way.

  ### 7. Program appreciated by all, users and administrators

Riot has been integrated to help all employees become aware of cybersecurity principles. Albert's assistance via our Teams channel allows for quick onboarding. The back office is very simple for managing and analyzing campaigns. The choice of test templates is wide and customizable.

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

Nothing 😊, it's perfectly suited to our need

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sensitivity to cybersecurity principles strengthens our first line of defense, which is represented by the employees, an essential line!

  ### 8. Simple and effective

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fabrice V. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Riot?**

The user experience of the awareness bot Albert is unanimously appreciated by users. From the IT team's perspective, the phishing tests are extremely effective, much more realistic than those we have tested previously.

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

There is a lack of diversity; once all the courses have been completed, it would be necessary to move to the next step and add more gamification.

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Riot allows for maintaining a constant interest (who said pressure?) from users regarding cybersecurity issues, and let's say it, phishing tests foster a kind of constructive paranoia.

  ### 9. The most appropriate solution for our use case

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Riot?**

What I like best about Riot is its effectiveness in simulating realistic phishing scenarios, helping organizations strengthen their cybersecurity awareness and reduce vulnerabilities

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

What I dislike about Riot is that, for now, it doesn't offer the ability to customize the training courses

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Riot helps solve the problem of phishing awareness and user vulnerability by providing realistic phishing simulations and training. This helps us identify weak points in our organization and educate employees in a practical, engaging way. As a result, we’re seeing increased vigilance, fewer clicks on suspicious links, and a stronger overall security culture

  ### 10. Simple and intuitive

The objective is to raise awareness among employees about cybersecurity. Riot offers the right tools to achieve this.

  ### 11. Great tool for cybersecurity awareness

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Riot?**

Riot is a great Tool to help an organization defending against digital threats. With simple but effective phishing campaigns creation, it could ensure strong IT Awareness. The integration of Albert, the chatbot assistant, teach our user cybersecurity awareness and best practices. With a great technical team supporting our specific needs, Riot is an essential tool for any organization committed to cybersecurity nowadays.

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

While Riot Cybersecurity has many strengths, there is still room for improvement. As it is quite simple and easy to use, give less management to the more advanced features. Still, the tool is evolving quickly to fully leverage their potential.

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

User Awareness and Cybersecurity Best Practices over Phishing Campaigns and Trainings with Albert.

  ### 12. A great ease of use

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Government Administration | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Riot?**

The Riot interface is intuitive and everything is designed to facilitate the creation of campaigns in just a few clicks. The settings are simple and comprehensive.

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

I personally miss the ability to better customize the information messages sent to users targeted by phishing campaigns: better adapt the messages to the specifics of the company.

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Riot allows you to perform operations in just a few clicks that could otherwise be tedious. The phishing templates offered are numerous and relevant, and it is very easy to create your own templates. Furthermore, Riot offers the creation of "smart" groups that allow you to follow up with certain populations based on their results.

  ### 13. Enhancing Cybersecurity Awareness with Engaging Training

Riot’s user-friendly interface makes it incredibly easy to deploy and manage cybersecurity training across the organization. The diverse training modules—featuring interactive quizzes and real-world scenario simulations—keep employees engaged and significantly enhance knowledge retention.

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

While Riot provides a comprehensive range of training content, some modules could be updated more frequently to keep pace with the ever-evolving cybersecurity landscape. More regular content refreshes would help ensure the training remains as relevant and impactful as possible.

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Riot effectively addresses the ongoing need for cybersecurity awareness and education, fostering a security-conscious culture within our organization. ### 36. A Game-Changer in Cybersecurity Training for Management Consulting

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Romeo D. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 18, 2024

**What do you like best about Riot?**

What impresses me most about Riot is its comprehensive and sector-specific training modules that perfectly cater to our management consulting context. The cybersecurity scenario simulations they offer are not only highly realistic but also attuned to the current threat landscape, making the training incredibly relevant and engaging for our team.

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

While there's a lot to love about Riot, I find the reporting dashboard to be a bit overwhelming at times, with so much data available. A more streamlined, customizable dashboard that allows me to quickly get insights most relevant to our company's security posture would enhance the user experience.

Riot is instrumental in elevating our employees' cybersecurity awareness and readiness, thus significantly reducing the risk of successful cyberattacks against us. By simulating real-world cyber threats, it ensures our team is not only informed about potential vulnerabilities but is also well-practiced in responding to them efficiently, which is a game-changer for our firm's overall security strategy.

My main gripe with Riot is the lack of customization options for some of the training modules.

  ### 43. Following the advice could be a life saver

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Frank M. | Senior Director of Business Development, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2024

**What do you like best about Riot?**

It is eays to use. the sessions are not too long and reasonably entertaining.

The content is very valuable in alerting users to all kinds of scams they may encounter, how to recognize them, and what to do.

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

There is no ryhm of reason (that I can see) behind the topics that arrive in my inbox. They just crop up at random.

Whilst the sessions are short, there is content that is not informative and that is a disttraction in the end—it is OK for the purpose of going through the excersie but there are no concise summaries such as: If X happens; Do Y : Don't do Z. Something very concise and memorable.

It would be useful to have such information displayed in the form of a crib sheet. Otherwise users forget contetn—this has been proven recently by your quizz of what we have remembered!

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Awareness of scams

  ### 44. A high-performance and easy-to-use product

Employee awareness of cybersecurity

  ### 46. Tailored Cybersecurity Training for the Retail Sector

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Boris B. | Directeur systèmes informatiques, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Riot?**

The customization capabilities of the training modules in Riot are impressive. It allows us to tailor the cybersecurity training specifically for our retail environment, making it highly relevant and engaging for our team members.

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

While Riot offers a plethora of useful features, I've noticed a gap in industry-specific simulations for the automotive sector. Expanding their scenario database to cover more specific threats related to our industry would enhance the training experience significantly.

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Riot has significantly streamlined our cybersecurity training process. By providing real-time feedback and actionable insights, it has empowered our employees to better recognize and respond to cyber threats, consequently enhancing our overall security posture in the competitive retail sector.

**What do you like best about Riot?**

It is really simple, with low maintenance.
It took me few minutes to setup the solution.

It's not a solution with a large number of functions. This avoids duplicating functionality with other security solutions.

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

Nothing. All users are very happy with the content

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

RIOT enables us to track employee training effectively, helping us to better meet the requirements of our customers, the law and auditors.

RIOT has several channels for training, so we can adapt to everyone's habits.

RIOT has interesting content, and new content is offered regularly. It only takes a few seconds for this content to be available to everyone.

RIOT offers a highly effective phishing simulation solution, as well as monitoring to identify employees who need more follow-up.

All in all, RIOT is an easy-to-use, highly effective solution that requires little follow-up on the part of the security team.

The chat format makes it much more interactive and easier to assimilate than traditional video programmes. I really appreciate Albert's motivational follow-up.

Cybersecurity is a serious subject and the time needed to follow the lessons sometimes requires a bit of organisation. But the lessons have fitted into my schedule very well.
