  ### 3. Riot: A Game Changer in Cybersecurity Training!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** cherif m. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 26, 2024

**What do you like best about Riot?**

Riot's real-time simulation of cyberattacks is a standout feature. This practical experience is proving beneficial in training our staff. Also, their variety of tutorials on cybersecurity awareness are quite impressive.

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

Though Riot offers language support, it's limited. It would be better if there were options for more languages. Our multicultural teams need this.

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Riot helps us simulate cyber attack scenarios, providing an opportunity for our staff to learn how to handle such situations. This has tremendously boosted our overall preparedness against potential cyber threats, thereby enhancing our company's cybersecurity structure.

  ### 4. Review of RIOT: Building Cyber awareness in the Construction Sector

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 08, 2024

**What do you like best about Riot?**

I particularly appreciate the easy, intuitive and personalized nature of RIOT's customized training content. In the construction sector, you need to be able to adapt to each individual. RIOT will enable each user to progress at his or her own pace, and I'll be able to convey the necessary awareness messages.

The simulation part, which is based on realistic and permanent scenarios, enables me to have a high level of requirement in raising the awareness of our personnel. The easy follow-up provides me with relevant and exploitable results, saving me time in the awareness strategy to be implemented.

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

I find the dashboard a little cluttered and have some difficulty finding the information I'd like to customize.

Although Riot offers a good degree of customization, it would be nice if the courses could be further adapted to the policies implemented in the company (which seems possible via a new module). The readability of some of the rules implemented is somewhat complicated, but Riot's support helps to clarify matters.

Finally, improvements such as tracking the progress of several teams, a course response report and the ability to better manage simulation sending schedules would considerably enhance the user experience.

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Riot plays a key role in improving our cybersecurity position.

It solves the problem of keeping our staff up to date with the latest generic and industry-specific threats, minimizing potential breaches and boosting our cyber resilience. Personalization is really the key to the awareness that Riot enables.

The automation of training allows for automatic reminders and ongoing training without any intervention on my part, freeing up more time and resources for other priorities.

  ### 5. An experience acclaimed by our users

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fabien G. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 21, 2024

**What do you like best about Riot?**

Riot is really very simple to deploy. User awareness in chatbot mode is really excellent because it is minimally intrusive and asynchronous. The user can therefore choose when to chat with Albert! Our users are delighted to chat with him and their feedback is extremely positive. Finally, the phishing campaigns are based on a large number of very high-quality templates and the execution of the campaigns is really well done! The support is really attentive and responsive, the team is young and dynamic, and it is very pleasant.

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

Riot is young and we are still expecting plenty of new features to further enhance the product.

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Awareness for all our employees in all our countries (multilingual)

  ### 6. Enlightening and playful!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Manon C. | Talent Acquisition, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2024

**What do you like best about Riot?**

Easy-to-use awareness training
Possibility to progress at one's own pace
Very engaging and raises awareness of the different spectrums of computer vulnerabilities/phishing

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

No possibility to ask questions

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allows to have a global view of the security vulnerabilities on which we need to be vigilant and well-informed about the different dangerous practices personally but also those putting the company at risk.

  ### 7. Excellent tool for raising awareness about cybersecurity

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mickaël H. | RSSI, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2023

**What do you like best about Riot?**

RIOT is an all-in-one platform for campaigns and outreach.

Outreach campaigns are easy to do with the Entra ID API interconnection (formerly Azure AD).

Outreach with Teams is significantly more effective than traditional eLearning.

The solution addresses many themes and is not limited to Phishing.

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

There isn't much that is useless, but some features could be implemented: PDF Dashboard for General Management, more email templates on French topics, and pausing Teams reminders when the collaborators are on vacation or in a meeting.

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

To limit the risk of our employees falling victim to phishing.

Raise awareness among our users about the various current cyber threats.

  ### 8. Exceptional

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ibrahim T. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2024

**What do you like best about Riot?**

We love the concept which is playful and instructive.

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

None, the users are delighted with Albert.

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Riot helps raise awareness among users about cybersecurity in a fun and non-intrusive way. They feel supported and understand the stakes when one clicks on a fraudulent email without performing basic checks.

  ### 9. easy to use, fun and fast!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Clément R. | Head of Customer Care, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 04, 2024

**What do you like best about Riot?**

easy to use, fun and fast!
A simple way to learn and/or review the basics of cybersecurity

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

Albert's response speed, which could be optimized

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Teach basics of cubersécurity

  ### 10. Pretty slick, until you realize it doesn't work on Comcast Business

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sean R. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 26, 2023

**What do you like best about Riot?**

Easy to set up, easy integrations with Slack and Google Workspace. No cringey videos. The "chat" format is fun and unique.

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

Their phishing training simply doesn't work on Comcast Business connections; Comcast's "SecurityEdge" feature thinks that the phishing training links are actual phishing and blocks them via DNS hijacking. I have reported this to Riot and they said it wasn't their problem. So one of Riot's main products is literally unusable for a large portion of the population. SecurityEdge cannot be bypassed via an allowlist and cannot be permanently disabled, and removing it from an account actually *increases* your monthly bill and removes other features, like 4G backup.

Also, Riot does not support quizzes for users that allow admins to see how well users are learning. The only way to test them is with phishing training, which obviously only tests how good they are at avoiding phishing (not other security practices).

It also doesn't support "lookalike" site URLs; all the phishing emails go to loginform.net, so users can simply tune out the second they see that link.

Also no way for an admin to easily review all of the content of all lessons without actually doing them, which takes a lot longer than just skimming a document.

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Security training and phishing testing

  ### 11. Bridging the Gap in Cybersecurity Training with Innovation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Flavien K. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 29, 2023

**What do you like best about Riot?**

What I appreciate the most about Riot is their innovative AI feature that creates complex phishing schemes on the fly, providing really complex and meaningful scenarios. The simulated attacks it provides is invaluable and the realism of the scenarios is second to none.
Albert the cybersecurity companion is loved by our team, because it provides bite-sized trainings that are effective and impactful while preventing the usually long cybersecurity training sessions that everyone hates!

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

It would be great to be able to use our own spoofed domains in the phishing templates to further complexify attacks for technical teams, but from what I understand the team is working on it right now.

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Riot is addressing the urgent need for proactive cybersecurity training, equipping our team to face potential cyberattacks effectively. This helps reinforce Deezer's overall security posture while also reducing the time I previously committed to onboarding new employees on our security protocols & trainings.

  ### 12. A really top-notch platform for cybersecurity awareness and education!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Julien B. | External CISO / Transition CISO / Cybersecurity program manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 15, 2023

**What do you like best about Riot?**

The user-friendly with efficient dashboard interface and the customizable phishing campaigns make Riot an excellent awareness & education cybersecurity platform.
Employees have become more aware of potential threats, which is essential in a high and strict cybersecurity context. "Albert", the chatbot, is also an engaging and efficient trainer that our team adores!

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

All improvements given such as phishing campaign customization, chatbot user experience, new contents courses have been taken into account by RIOT's dream teams (resulting on new functionality developed or on going development).
I don't see anything else to add as of today.

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Riot is addressing our employees' cybersecurity knowledge gaps and making our workforce more resistant to potential cyberattacks. It also complies with certain ISO 27001's clause and measure.
The platform allows continuous security education without requiring additional efforts from my side, saving me time and resources.
Finally, when I want to add new customized phishing campaign, going to RIOT platform is very easy and quick to deploy!

  ### 13. A Game-Changing Way to Tackle Cyber Threats.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** david t. | IT Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 22, 2023

**What do you like best about Riot?**

What I like best about Riot is its innovative approach to cybersecurity training, using engaging methods like simulations and interactive bots to make learning about cybersecurity captivating for my team.

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

My one gripe would be that it lacks an integration with our legacy systems, which would enable a more seamless blending of Riot into our existing operations.

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Riot is transforming how we deal with cyber threats at TechnicoFlor by empowering our employees, the people on the front lines, with the knowledge and skills to tackle these threats. This has not only reduced our vulnerability to cyber attacks, but also saved us resources in terms of constant security maintenance.

  ### 14. Very good experience with Riot

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Thomas L. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 08, 2023

**What do you like best about Riot?**

I recently had the privilege of experiencing the exceptional services offered by Riot, a leading company dedicated to enhancing phishing awareness and cybersecurity. I must say, their commitment to protecting individuals and businesses from cyber threats is truly outstanding. From start to finish, my encounter with Riot has been nothing short of exceptional.

First and foremost, Riot's expertise in phishing awareness is commendable. They have developed innovative solutions and cutting-edge technologies to educate individuals and organizations about the dangers of phishing attacks. Their proactive approach in simulating realistic phishing scenarios and providing comprehensive training programs has proven to be incredibly effective. Their training materials are highly informative, engaging, and tailored to address the evolving techniques employed by cybercriminals. Through their efforts, I witnessed a significant increase in awareness and a tangible reduction in the susceptibility to phishing attacks within my organization.

What truly sets Riot apart is their exceptional customer service. Throughout my engagement with them, their team demonstrated an unwavering commitment to providing personalized attention and support. They were responsive, friendly, and exhibited a genuine desire to help their clients. Whether it was addressing my inquiries promptly or offering expert advice on specific cybersecurity concerns, Riot consistently went above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction.

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

I think adding some attack scenarios and other vectors would be a good addition to the software.

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Riot really raise the level of awareness

  ### 15. An amazing all in one tool to improve security awareness of your employees

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steven M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 08, 2023

**What do you like best about Riot?**

What I like the best about Riot is the convenience of having everything in one place, from phishing simulations to awareness campaigns. It's truly remarkable how Riot seamlessly integrates these essential components. The ability to raise awareness using a robot is a significant improvement over traditional e-learning tools. The interactive nature of the robot makes the learning experience engaging and memorable. The feature that stands out to me is the option to customize phishing templates. This allows organizations to tailor the simulations to their specific needs, making the training more relevant and effective.

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

When it comes to what I dislike about Riot, there isn't much to mention, to be honest. The platform truly meets our needs effectively. However, as a rapidly expanding company in Europe, if I were to say one aspect, we have noticed that some languages, such as Italian, are not yet available. Nevertheless, we appreciate that Riot is actively working on expanding language support.

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Riot solves one of the most critical problems that ultimately enhance our company's security. One of the key challenges in securing any organization is the human factor. Training the employees in best practices and empowering them to identify and respond to hacking attempts, regardless of their form, is vital. Riot addresses this segment exceptionally well by providing comprehensive training and simulations that cultivate good cybersecurity habits and instill employees with the necessary reflexes. By focusing on this critical aspect of security awareness, Riot plays a significant role in bolstering our company's overall security posture.

  ### 16. Very good solution!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laurent P. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Riot?**

Ease of implementation of the solution, global solution. Sales and support (pre-sales and post-sales) are attentive.

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

A little less functionality (integration) when on an Exchange 2016 server, but it still works.

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Awareness of phishing recognition and cybercrime.

  ### 17. RIOT : a mandatory step towards greater serenity

The sharing of confidential data

  ### 18. IT security based on people

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mathias C. | CIO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 08, 2023

**What do you like best about Riot?**

The fact that cyber security is managed by every employee, people stay aware of potential attacks, are more likely to maintain their devices up to date and report to the IT department.
The possibilty to have all our internal software in the templates and that we can customize emails make the experience more efficient and can be fun too.

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

The main issue with this kind of software is that we have to keep people inside on the long time which is hard because employees are mainly focus on their activities.

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has made people inside our company aware of cyber threats and it has made it almost cool. Which is the hardest thing to do when you begin to tell your employees about IT and security.

  ### 19. Cybersecurity training platform for the modern workforce!

It helped me focus my efforts when raising awareness in the team. Albert the chatbot is also a great addition - my team truly enjoys interacting with him.

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

It would be great if Riot could integrate directly into our LMS. But I think it will come. They are already working on integrating with 360Learning.

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Riot has been crucial in training our staff on handling cybersecurity threats. And it was especially useful to deploy multi-factor authentication in the company . Overall, we are delighted by this solution used since early 2023.

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

**Reviewed by:** Guillaume F. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2023

**What do you like best about Riot?**

Setting up and monitoring simulation campaigns is very easy. Thanks to the bot Albert, training has been fun for the team and we have seen a real jump in awareness.

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

I wish that riot would expand outside of people security to become a "single stop" security provider.

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I need my team to be on its toes, and Riot does that for us, both on an awareness and technical level (i.e. what are the threats, what should I do, what are the tools at my disposal...)

  ### 30. Empowering Cyber Awareness @ Devialet

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Luxury Goods & Jewelry | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 14, 2023

**What do you like best about Riot?**

Riot captivated users with its innovative format, resulting in a high level of satisfaction. The platform's user-friendly interface and inclusive nature have increased attention to cybersecurity and phishing mails. In addition, Riot has played an important role in raising company awareness, making it a real game-changer at Devialet.

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

Riot continues to develop, the dashboard has evolved well, but it still lacks two or three parameters to make the beautiful exports that our boards love so much, and short explanatory videos at the end of the courses could be a great plus.

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Riot is playing a crucial role in enhancing our company's preparedness for cyberattacks. As a result, our overall cybersecurity posture is strengthened, significantly reducing the risk of potential security breaches.

  ### 31. Administrator of Riot's platform, spreading awareness to a large Group of people

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2023

**What do you like best about Riot?**

Help during the implementation, availability of Riot's teams

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

Riot's teams are too far, it would be great if the team were in south of France :-)

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Riot helps us a lot reducing time for awareness. It does not substitute other ways of awareness but is a considerable value. It enables targeting a lot of employees in a short term. The method of learning is fun and short. People like it. Phishing campaigns are easy to handle. The solution is pretty easy to implement. Last but not least, Riot's teams are very pro, listening to their client, and helping when you need it.

**What do you like best about Riot?**

Riot's real-life scenario simulations are excellent and engaging. The platform is user-friendly, and our team enjoys learning from Albert, the cybersecurity chatbot.

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

Currently, Albert is not available in every language spoken by our employees, which can be a limitation. However, it does cover multiple major languages.

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Riot is invaluable in training and improving our employees' cybersecurity practices, particularly in the sensitive healthcare sector. Thanks to Albert, we can maintain high cybersecurity standards, even with new hires joining the team regularly.

**What do you like best about Riot?**

User friendly

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

Next step.
We've been using it for almost 1 year now, so we're hoping the content will be updated for the next year.

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Albert was able to explain cybersecurity simply to our staff.
He also helped us to improve our ability to detect phishing attacks.

  ### 34. Increase employees maturity in cybersecurity

Engaging micro-training delivered in an interactive and friendly way through the bot Albert, with powerful phishing simulations to check the maturity progression of employees. The assistance and support in setting up the system is much appreciated.

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

The pricing is a bit higher than the competitors that provide more basic simulations and training.

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Increasing the maturity of employees in cybersecurity to increase the overall protection of the company against cyber risks. Including phishing attacks and any other breach that employees can create unintentionally.

  ### 35. Very good experience with the Riot team

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Guillaume d. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 14, 2023

**What do you like best about Riot?**

the simplicity and effectiveness of the training, for the rest I am only at the beginning so let's wait a bit :D But it is honestly very promising

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

the configuration of the tool with some errors. I must connect Google for the extension but not for the users... so a few small safeguards to put in place

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This will personally free up time for me on a subject I do not master, so it's a double benefit for me. For the teams, it will be a quick and hopefully effective training.

  ### 36. Great tool with great adoption for our company

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Environmental Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

A lot of templates are available for the phishing simulation. We can schedule regular campaign, specific campaign quickly. The statistics are evolving and we can now see the time of first reporting from our users.
The Albert ChatBot is great, all the employees loves it !
It's a huge point to engage the users for the awareness. We can easily follow the progress.
Also, the RIOT team is aware of our needs and some features I requested are already in production.

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

They can improve the statistics part and but I know they are working on it.

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reach all our users for awareness quickly, we can know who has followed which courses.
The newcomers benefit automatically from the courses, it's pretty efficient.

  ### 37. Riot: A Game-Changer in Cybersecurity Training for Employees

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Staffing and Recruiting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 08, 2023

**What do you like best about Riot?**

What I like best about Riot is the ease of integration with our existing systems such as Google and Microsoft. Additionally, the availability of Albert, the bot, in 4 languages and the extensive 20-course catalogue makes it highly accessible and informative for our employees.

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

One minor drawback is that some employees initially found it difficult to find time for the courses amidst their busy schedules. However, they soon realized the importance of cybersecurity and have made time for it.

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Riot is solving the lack of cybersecurity awareness among our employees, by providing comprehensive and tailored courses throughout the year. This effectively bolsters our defense against cyberattacks and protects our valuable data.

The continuous phishing simulation campaigns allows us to keep our employees sharp over time. The Slack bot integration helps us a lot to create a great reach across the company.

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

The tool is still relatively young and lacks features that would help us, like a public API and a bit more variety in terms of content and scenarios for the awareness section.

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Riot is greatly helping us increase security awareness across the company with its useful Slack bot and its simulation campaign that we can trigger punctually or on a regular basis.

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 14, 2022

**What do you like best about Riot?**

The phishing simulator is just amazing! Lots of awesome phishing templates (some of them a scary). The chatbot Albert is also super cool and the team loves him!

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

It could be cool to have the possibility to only sync certain groups from our Google Workspace but the devs at Riot told me they were working on it ;)

**Recommendations to others considering Riot:**

Go for it! Don't waste time doing your own security training!

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Riot is helping me train my employees against cyber risks (some of them still use shitty passwords). The best is that I don't need to repeat my security training for each newcomers. The chatbot Albert is doing it for me!
