## Riot Reviews
  ### 1. Cybersecurity Awareness Platform which enables success for us

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pontus N. | CISO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Riot?**

I appreciate the ease of use and comprehensive nature of Riot’s awareness platform. Their wide range of phishing attack simulations keeps our teams sharp. Like that we can customize them ourselves also. Our team particularly enjoys the Albert slack-bot for learning cybersecurity basics.

Many colleagues have expressed their appreciation for this type of learning and the fact that all courses are available in Slack has further boosted positive feedback. The appreciation score now stands at 97%.

Riot’s platform also simplifies my job as a CISO as it’s incredibly easy to set up and the courses are of high quality.

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

We would love to see more customized courses, particular to our industry's unique threats. This will make the training more relevant and possibly even more engaging. It be great to have some customized courses for certain departments, such as development team, as departments have with unique risks and attacks.

There are also some inconsistencies in the UI/UX for me as an admin. Like new fields or labels for things in the admin view just appearing with no explanation of what they mean. The new elements are almost always useful and appreciate the evolution of the plattform, it's just that I cant easily find what they mean.

I dislike their support's bot, it's not usually helpful or give correct answers. But that is mostly to due with the fact that its working with incomplete sources which ties into the first problem. If something changes in the product you will most likely find out about it yourself and not via a official marketing communication. Riot is not historically consistent with their communication about product updates, both in language (french/english) and in cadence of communication.

I dislike that I cannot reset a single users progress in a program, it's the entire company or none.

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Security awareness training that engages employees, enables a high completion rate, and provides relevant training they can apply in their day-to-day work.

The phishing simulations give our employees practical, hands-on experience.

Riot's platform has benefited us in several ways. Overall, it has been a positive finding and a key success factor in strengthening our security culture.

  ### 2. Highly Effective Training Creation and Customization, Backed by Continuous Updates

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Richard L. | Rssi, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Riot?**

Having deployed and renewed Riot across two different companies, I can only recommend this solution, which has proven its effectiveness in various contexts.
Two key strengths stand out in particular: the training creation module, which makes it easy to design engaging and relevant learning paths, as well as the extensive customization options that provide real flexibility to adapt the platform to each organization's specific needs.
A big well done to the Riot team for the continuous improvement of the platform, with regular updates that reflect a genuine attentiveness to user feedback.

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

As an area for improvement, it would be great to see new awareness formats introduced, such as campaigns based on booby-trapped QR codes, interactive games, or more advanced gamified formats. These additions would further enrich the user experience and diversify the pedagogical approaches.

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Riot helps us address one of the biggest challenges in cybersecurity: the human factor. The platform makes it easy to raise employee awareness about cyber risks (phishing, social engineering, best practices, etc.) in a way that is engaging, interactive, and far from the traditional boring training sessions.
Thanks to Riot, we have been able to:

Significantly reduce the click rate on phishing simulations over time
Build a genuine cybersecurity culture within the company
Save considerable time in designing and deploying awareness campaigns thanks to the intuitive training creation module
Easily tailor content to the specific realities of our business and different employee profiles
Track progress and measure the impact of our actions through clear and relevant dashboards

Overall, Riot has transformed cybersecurity awareness into a positive and engaging experience for employees, while providing us with a powerful tool to strengthen the company's overall security posture.

  ### 3. Outstanding experience for years

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vincent G. | CISO and Principal Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Riot?**

Riot is a game changer to monitor and enhance the cybersecurity within our company with low-effort for a maximum impact. You configure it very easily and then you can forget about the administration part, and just focus on the resultats and how it helps to change the mindset of your employees. When using Microsoft 365 it is a no-brainer to integrate and in any case the customer support is very reactive.

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

We use Riot for years now with no problem, and we can see the product is evolving every month.

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We cannot afford full-time job to dedicate to cybersecurity, but we often suffer from different social engineering attacks and we know this is important for our company in terms of IT risks. So create training, ensure they are followed and test the reactions of the employees are now done automatically with quality and a user friendly interface!

  ### 4. A flexible and intuitive platform that revolutionizes awareness

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Geoffrey L. | System expert, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Riot?**

Riot has profoundly transformed our approach to awareness within our organization. The platform stands out for its ease of use and great flexibility, both in the choice of courses to offer and in the selection of the target audiences. We have been able to plan our awareness program over three years, which gives us the opportunity to add courses based on current events and skills to develop, in addition to those regularly provided by Riot. The deployment of the solution was very simple, allowing us to test it quickly and confirm its relevance. Furthermore, the integration with other widely used solutions was seamless. Personally, I spend a lot of time on the platform to optimize human risk management and I particularly appreciate being able to realize my ideas to strengthen the culture of cybersecurity, especially thanks to Riot. Finally, I would like to warmly thank the support teams and our CSM for their responsiveness to my assistance requests!

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

The retrieval of relevant KPIs sometimes proves laborious, and there is occasionally a lack of coherence between the different functionalities, such as Awareness, Simulation, and Breach.

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Awareness was a laborious and "uninteresting" process and complex to implement, especially for new employees. Riot perfectly meets the needs for flexibility and autonomy that we needed to design our awareness module.

  ### 5. Realistic phishing campaigns and fun tutorials with Albert

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sébastien V. | Enseignant en informatique, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Riot?**

Playful with Albert, the Cyber companion.
Phishing campaigns are very detailed and as close to reality as possible.
The tutorials are playful, and the back-office allowing to track and control the completion of the tutorials is relevant.

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

Honestly, nothing comes to mind at the moment.

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Users with better weapons against Cyber threats.

  ### 6. Rapid Deployment and Easy Customization for Information Security Awareness

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Benjamin H. | DSI, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Riot?**

Riot stands out for its intuitive handling, allowing for the quick launch of recurring phishing awareness campaigns thanks to a vast catalog of ready-to-use templates. The platform also offers the possibility to design fully customized templates, which allows them to be precisely adapted to our professional context.

Beyond phishing simulations, awareness is based on training modules that can be adapted via the Studio tool. A notable advantage is that the content is aimed at both technical and non-technical profiles, which is essential for reaching all of our teams.

Integration with Slack and Google Workspace is seamless. Finally, the Gmail plugin allows our employees to easily report any suspicious email to our security team, thereby strengthening our collective detection capability.

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

The tool covers all of our current needs — no functionality is lacking.

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Riot fully meets our needs for security awareness. The tool allows us to effectively train our employees and maintain their vigilance over time.

  ### 7. Simplicity and Effectiveness for Cybersecurity Awareness

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vincent B.

**Reviewed Date:** February 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Riot?**

I really appreciate the ease of use of Riot, it's very convenient for setting up phishing campaigns. The examples they have are diverse and quite detailed. There is a lot of information on the teams and real individual tracking of each employee, which is very enriching. I also like the overall view of all the awareness courses taken. Their support is really helpful, especially at the beginning, and they are very available, responding quickly to all my questions. The connection with Slack for sending reminders is super important and really the key for our users. The daily use of Riot in my role is enriching.

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

A very small flaw is that there is no connection n 8 n for the moment.

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Riot allows for great team awareness, individual monitoring, and provides essential information for both professional and personal life to all employees.

  ### 8. Cybersecurity made simple, fun, and highly effective with Albert

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Grégoire C. | CIO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Riot?**

We use Try Riot to train our teams, and it has been a real success. The approach is radically different from traditional training, largely thanks to Albert. This interactive coach makes learning fun and unobtrusive by integrating directly into our messaging app. It is the perfect tool for building a security culture without being a burden.

The effectiveness is real: thanks to this increased awareness, we successfully stopped two CEO fraud attempts (whaling) in the past year.

Beyond coaching, the platform acts as a true control tower. The automated phishing campaigns are shockingly realistic and adapt to each user's level, while the Dark Web monitoring alerts us immediately if a password has leaked. It is reassuring to have all these tools (training, simulation, and monitoring) centralized in one place.

Finally, the dashboard gives us clear visibility on participation rates and the company's risk level. The "Cyber Academy" covers all essential topics, which is a huge asset for proving compliance during security audits (like SOC2 or ISO).

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

We would love to see even more phishing scenarios added in the future.

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Riot primarily solves the "human risk" challenge in cybersecurity. Before, our training had low engagement; today, thanks to Albert's interactive approach, employee participation is excellent.

We have shifted from passive compliance to active vigilance. The benefit is measurable: we drastically reduced our risk exposure and successfully prevented two CEO fraud attempts this year. Additionally, the platform solves the administrative burden of compliance by automating the reporting needed for our security audits (SOC2/ISO).

  ### 9. Simplicity and Studio: An Intuitive and Efficient Experience

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anthony A. | DSI groupe, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Riot?**

The simplicity of use and the new Studio feature, which allows us to create and manage our content in an intuitive and efficient way.

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

The platform offers very good performance; however, advanced customization and integration with certain third-party tools deserve to be perfected.

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The platform efficiently centralizes our content and simplifies collaboration, which helps to minimize time wastage. The Studio feature makes course creation and organization much easier, while the platform also offers courses on cybersecurity to enhance everyone's awareness. These trainings have been adopted without delay by all our teams, and everyone particularly appreciates Albert, who makes security awareness both fun and engaging.

  ### 10. Recently Innovative, Simple and Effective

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Riot?**

I like the presence of Albert as an AI speaker who can respond to agents. The interface is simple, user-friendly, and fun. The initial installation of Riot has a very simple and user-friendly interface, and the support service is very responsive.

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

Riot works very well but there are still some areas for reflection to improve the product. For example, to propose a vishing solution or even deepfake.

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Riot to raise awareness and train agents on cyber risks. It simply explains all the issues of cyber risks, making learning more accessible and effective.

  ### 11. Simple, straightforward, and fun security preparedness.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam E. | Director of Technical Operations, Security Officer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Riot?**

Riot brings the right balance of features and functionality, between education materials and testing of the team around security and phishing practices. And they roll it up into an easy to digest dashboard, with simple team management tools. The integrations also make it easy for the team to engage directly via Slack or email.

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

On the admin side, the Slack integration has been a bit tricky to configure and reconfigure; part of this was consolidating Google Workspaces and Slack team spaces on our side as part of a company merger.

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I haven't found a better simple and straightforward tool that combines the best of both basic team security training lessons and testing the team's security readiness.

  ### 12. Hyper-Complete Suite with Intuitive Interfaces

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rémi P. | CTO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Riot?**

I love Riot's extremely comprehensive and constantly evolving suite of tools, with highly intuitive interfaces. This greatly facilitates the administration of the tool, but above all, the adoption by our collaborators. The initial setup was very simple, which is a big plus. I am so satisfied that I would even give a score of 10 out of 10 to recommend Riot to a friend or colleague.

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

Riot still requires a bit of administration on my part to maintain the tool over the years. Even more automation would be welcome. For example, the courses scheduled for one year are not automatically carried over to the next year. This has to be done manually. Also, to add new courses.

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Riot strengthens the security and resilience of our company against cyberattacks. The suite of tools is intuitive, which facilitates adoption and administration by our team.

  ### 13. Optimized Security with Contextual AI Responses

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nour R.

**Reviewed Date:** November 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Riot?**

I particularly appreciate Albert's courses and the phishing simulation features offered by Riot. These features make learning about computer security both fun and educational. The courses seem well-designed and useful for improving security awareness within our team. Additionally, the initial setup was very smooth, which makes the overall user experience positive from the start. Riot was our first choice, reflecting our confidence in the platform's capabilities from the outset.

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

I find that the AI responses in Riot could be improved. They lack depth in their answers and do not always provide a response related to the company's context, which can limit the effectiveness of the exchanges.

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Riot to automate IT security awareness, simplifying logistics and facilitating in-person awareness sessions.

  ### 14. Easy, smooth, and top-notch RIOT support!

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2026

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is increasing efficiently phishing awareness

  ### 16. Easy rollout, flexible planning, and great phishing simulations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Riot?**

Riot has been a great pick for our security awareness program. It’s easy to roll out, quick to set up, and simple to run on a daily basis.

It is particularly flexible : we can choose the right courses and target the right groups, which let us plan a full three-year program while still adding new content when something relevant comes up. The phishing simulations are super easy to launch and really practical for training employees, especially with all the ready-made templates for recurring campaigns. And Studio is a great product : it makes creating custom courses (cybersecurity or other topics) genuinely smooth and well done.

Also, the courses adapt to the language of the users making it really easy to use for multinational companies.

It is also really easy to have assistance or explanations when required.

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

Nothing to report here. We get great benefits from using Riot.

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Riot helps us tackle a common problem: keeping security awareness consistent over time, without it turning into a one-off training that everyone forgets. We can run phishing simulations, roll out relevant courses, and keep adding new content as threats and priorities evolve.

What also makes a big difference is the Slack integration. Since teams already live in Slack, Riot fits right into our day-to-day workflows : no need to introduce yet another tool. Overall, it’s made awareness easier to run, more engaging for employees, and much simpler to keep improving over time.

  ### 17. A Powerful Cybersecurity Awareness Platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jacques L. | Directeur Conseil – Données, intelligence d'affaires et CRM, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

Riot turns employees into the first line of defense against targeted attacks.
The security awareness program includes targeted interactive courses, realistic phishing simulations, and other tools designed to build a long-term cybersecurity culture. In addition, this ongoing training is delivered without heavy administrative or operational workload. It is a tool that was quickly adopted by the team, which is its key advantage.

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

Analytics and reporting capabilities
While the platform provides overall scores, having access to more detailed or customizable reports would be a valuable enhancement.

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Riot is helping my team on cybersecurity and best practices effectively. Riot also helps team members adopt best practices not only at work but also in their personal lives, which is a significant added value.

  ### 18. Great Phishing Simulations and Template Creation

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Leisure, Travel & Tourism | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Riot?**

Phishing simulation and template création

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Human factors in cybersecurity.

  ### 19. Playful Simulation and Effective Awareness

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christophe L.

**Reviewed Date:** January 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Riot?**

I love the simulation part and the Awareness part of Riot. These features are valuable for our company because the simulation allows us to test users and the awareness enables us to train them properly. It gives a playful aspect to user training while detecting vulnerabilities.

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

The Sonar part is paid. Riot could integrate a basic free part (without mentioning all the features).

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Riot allows me to train our users in a fun way and to detect vulnerabilities. The simulation tests the users and the awareness properly trains them.

  ### 20. Effective for Cybersecurity Awareness

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mathieu C.

**Reviewed Date:** November 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Riot?**

I appreciate that Riot makes it easy to access understandable courses for non-technical profiles, which is essential for raising awareness among my employees about cybersecurity. I particularly like the ease with which I can set up courses delivered throughout the year, ensuring continuous and up-to-date training. Additionally, the ability to create phishing campaigns is a major asset, as it allows testing and improving my employees' vigilance against potential cyber threats.

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

Nothing specific

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Riot to enhance cybersecurity awareness by facilitating access to comprehensible courses for non-technicians and planning effective phishing campaigns.

  ### 21. Simple interface and complete features, top-notch customization

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex D. | infrastructure engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Riot?**

The interface is simple, the features are comprehensive, and customization is also present.

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

There is a lack of available features when creating an email intended to simulate a phishing attack. This limits the possibilities and makes the experience less complete than expected.

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This allows us to easily conduct phishing simulations as well as awareness actions.

  ### 22. Simplicity and Rich Content, An Asset in Daily Life

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Real Estate | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Riot?**

I appreciate the ease of use, as it requires very little effort in terms of administration. Moreover, the richness of the content is a real asset.

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

Reporting is not optimal when one wishes to extract visual elements in order to establish reports for management. This complicates the creation of clear presentations tailored to management's needs.

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows users to remain constantly vigilant against phishing risks. Additionally, the information is presented in a short and engaging format, which promotes a good rate of follow-up and engagement from the employees.

  ### 23. Ease of Use and Enhanced Security with Riot

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Xavier T.

**Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Riot?**

I appreciate the ease of use of Riot. It is a very comprehensive tool both for phishing and awareness, and I find it to be easily accessible.

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

For me, what could be improved is at the level of the collaborator. We have fairly general information about them, but we struggle to see what they haven't really done well yet. For me, these are really the things to update.

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Riot to monitor the email security of my colleagues. This increases their vigilance against fraudulent emails and improves security on our side.

  ### 24. Delivers comprehensive cybersecurity training for all employees & helps with compliance requirements

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tommy V. | CISO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Riot?**

The dashboard clearly shows at a glance which employees have completed each awareness module and where gaps remain, making it easy to track progress without manual reports. The phishing campaign tool can be customized for specific teams and realistic scenarios, so tests feel relevant and engaging. If a user falls for a phishing simulation, a short follow-up lesson is sent automatically to help them learn from the mistake. The system schedules the tests to keep training fresh over time. Also it lives inside Slack so the deployment is seamless and engagement stays high.

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

It misses an API for faster reporting. More dashboards and insightful KPIs would be nice.

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Riot helps us keep everyone aware of cyber threats by delivering short, engaging lessons directly in Slack. It runs realistic, customizable phishing simulations and automatically follows up with training when someone clicks on a test email. The dashboards let us see who has completed their training and where gaps remain. This keeps our employees alert, reduces risk, ensures compliance and frees the security team to work on more critical projects.

It's very handy, practical, and pleasant to use. I also find the interface to be well-designed.

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

There isn't much to criticize—it's a very good product overall. If I had to mention something, perhaps there could be a bit more control over the simulation.

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cyber sensibilisation and phishing test are important aspects of maintaining security awareness. These initiatives help users recognize potential threats and better protect themselves against phishing attempts.

  ### 29. Excellent solution to effectively raise awareness about cybersecurity

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Guillaume A. | Responsable Infrastructure SI, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Riot?**

Their educational approach is truly modern and engaging. The way awareness content is integrated into our tools makes them very accessible and effective. The modules are short, concrete, and avoid unnecessary jargon, making them suitable for all profiles within the company. And the phishing simulations are impressive with very precise customization. It is this combination of simplicity, relevance, and impact that really makes the difference compared to more traditional solutions and training.

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

Honestly, nothing to complain about for now. The tool does exactly what is expected of it, in a smooth and well-thought-out manner. The team has managed to find the right balance between pedagogy, accessibility, and efficiency. It's rare enough to be highlighted: you can tell that the product was truly designed with the users in mind.

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Riot helps us address a key issue: the continuous awareness of our teams about cyber risks. Previously, this type of training was often seen as burdensome or too theoretical. With Riot, it's quite the opposite: the messages get across better because the format is short, contextualized, and integrated into our work tools.

Thanks to this approach, our employees develop better reflexes against phishing attempts, understand the best practices to adopt, and become aware of their role in the company's security. It's a real gain in terms of overall security, but also in daily peace of mind.

RIOT allows us to free up time on the awareness and phishing part. Indeed, it is easy to create phishing campaigns automatically with automatic awareness in case of failure. Moreover, Albert allows for short and relevant awareness sessions that users can follow in a few minutes without having to schedule a specific time slot. It is also integrated with Teams. Another interesting feature is the ability to monitor one's professional and personal email addresses for data breaches. The customer support and follow-up are very effective with short themed meetings to indicate either new features or areas for improvement. For implementation, the product is ready in a few minutes.

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

for the moment the product gives me the greatest satisfaction.

**What do you like best about Riot?**

Internal phishing campaigns are well-constructed, with customizable and effective templates. The cybersecurity courses delivered via Teams and the Albert bot are appreciated by our employees. To raise user awareness of cyber risks and improve their culture, it is much more effective than traditional training. The intuitive admin interface and available reporting provide real added value for tracking the use of the solution within the company. Integration is simple, customer support is responsive, and implementation is quick. The ability to integrate a plugin via O365 to report phishing cases directly to the cyber team is also appreciated.

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

Since the integration at the beginning of 2025, I have not noted any negative points.

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Riot solves several issues related to cyber risk awareness by combining different training steps: courses, phishing tests, and reporting fraudulent emails. It also facilitates reporting to the company's management. The solution engages users in a playful manner, thus avoiding any monotony.

Elie is a real support and help since the start-up & follow-up. He is available, knows his product very well & meets all the company's needs with a smile, dynamism, joy & humor. Thank you.

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

CSV exports automatically require data processing before internal distribution. It would be interesting to have the option to require or not require the employee to undergo training when they have failed a phishing campaign. In terms of inclusion, it would be wise to be able to offer several characters to choose from.

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Riot allows all employees to be aware of cybersecurity and best practices. It enables employees to be attentive and to report suspicious emails more frequently. The goal is to ensure the company's security.

Riot makes cybersecurity awareness both effective and engaging. The user-friendly interface allows for quick implementation (under an hour), and the ability to create custom phishing campaigns is a game-changer. The interactive lessons with Albert keep users engaged, making learning fun and impactful. I run assessments quarterly, and the platform makes it seamless to track progress over time. The support team is always available, ensuring we maximize our usage through regular check-ins.

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

It lacks analytics/insights . One improvement I'd love to see is a visually rich monthly dashboard with insightful graphics. Overall, Riot is a fantastic tool for continuous security training!

The RIOT platform is an exceptionally user-friendly tool. Its intuitive interface allows for quick and efficient handling, even for the least experienced users. The awareness provided by RIOT is perfectly suited to the needs of the new generation, making the learning of good security practices both engaging and relevant. Moreover, the phishing simulation tool is particularly effective, offering realistic scenarios that help users recognize and avoid phishing attempts. In short, RIOT is a comprehensive and efficient solution to enhance security within any organization.

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

The RIOT platform does not yet offer an integrated DLP solution, but a POC is under development.

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The RIOT platform allows us to meet the requirements of the ISO 27001 standard in terms of awareness needs and Phishing simulation.

  ### 37. Great tool for basic cyber training

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Riot?**

- Phishing campaign easy to setup
- Bot that "talk" to employees to train them on cyber topics

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

- No possibilities to "assess" the level of employees before giving them training, so we avoid too many courses not useful for some people
- Take some time to create our own phishing emails when going outside the proposed one

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Train people on cybersecurity

  ### 38. The Riot solution has allowed us to establish user reflexes.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Government Administration | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Riot?**

"Albert" has allowed us to establish user reflexes regarding the legitimacy of received emails. The character is very popular and agents let themselves be guided in the training sessions. The presence of the "Phishing reporter" button is also a plus. The implementation of AI analysis for reported emails also represents a time saver for IT. The support is very present and very responsive.

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

I am personally encountering some difficulties in the training tracking dashboard. As a colorblind person, I have a hard time distinguishing the color of the small dots. Another point to note is that it's best to have a "clean" AD before embarking on the adventure. Otherwise, there are some long moments to spend adjusting the recipients of phishing emails.

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It both raises awareness and teaches users good practices, both professional and personal.

  ### 39. Smooth and quick integration into the work environment

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Thomas B. | Administrateur Cybersécurité, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Riot?**

Riot easily integrates into the collaborative tools used daily, such as Microsoft Teams (via the Albert bot). This allows for a natural adoption by users without adding an extra layer of tools, which limits overload and improves engagement. The content is pragmatic. The playful, interactive, and accessible format of the modules really captures attention, especially from the new generations of users. The platform allows for launching targeted and customizable phishing campaigns, with templates very similar to the real attempts received by users (e.g., fake emails from software publishers). These simulations are effective for evaluating behaviors and enhancing vigilance. Finally, the administration interface is intuitive and easy to handle, which facilitates campaign management and monitoring.

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

For CSV exports, it would be useful to have files that are directly usable or the ability to customize export formats according to business needs. There is also a lack of a monthly dashboard that is visual and rich in graphics. Such a tool would allow for better data exploitation, intuitive progress tracking, and easy sharing with stakeholders. Despite these points, it is important to note that the Riot teams are very responsive, flexible, and attentive. They take customer feedback into account and regularly evolve the platform based on expressed needs.

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Riot effectively raises awareness among teams about cybersecurity issues and reduces human vulnerabilities through regular, realistic, and engaging campaigns. The tool facilitates the adoption of best practices in a continuous and integrated manner.

  ### 40. Excellent product offering a suite focused on maintaining security

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Loic B. | IT Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2025

**What do you like best about Riot?**

Riot allows for managing employee awareness in terms of good cybersecurity practices. The approach via a Slack bot aligns well with the expectations of certain companies and strengthens adherence to a topic that may seem time-consuming to some and encourages employees to frequently attend courses.

The phishing management feature is powerful and allows for setting up campaigns using templates very similar to the real emails sent by the various software vendors you use. The library is very comprehensive and the module is accompanied by a suspicious email reporting system that allows administrators to analyze safely.

The application integrates quickly, and the implementation in professional environments is easy by offering integrations with the main market players.

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

The Riot teams are flexible and very available; if certain features do not fully meet our expectations, the teams remain attentive to their client and constantly offer improvements to their modules.

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Training employees in good cybersecurity practices
Compliance with the SOC2 standard
Constantly test and strengthen the company's security posture

  ### 41. Simple and effective

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Julien C. | CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Riot?**

Riot is perfect for training employees in cybersecurity thanks to their companion Albert, who is neither too present nor too absent, allowing us to save considerable time on the awareness phase. The phishing campaigns are also very well done, easy to configure and deploy. Everything is fully customizable to allow the integration of the company's policies. I do not use all the features, but I am fully satisfied. Updates are regular and bring a host of new features, all as useful as each other. Customer support is regular and dynamic.

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

For now, nothing to report, there is nothing I don't like.

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As mentioned earlier, the bot Albert relieves me of a large part of the work of raising awareness about cybersecurity.

  ### 42. Practical and affordable cybersecurity for users

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Riot?**

If you are looking to enhance your company's security, Riot is the ideal solution. With its advanced features and its educational and playful approach, Riot is much more than a security tool; it is a trusted partner to protect our employees and our data. I recommend Riot to all companies concerned about their cybersecurity.

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

Rather a few feature suggestions:
A more personalized phishing template editor,
improved reporting with the ability to export or interface with our dashboard tools (PowerBI, webservice, or Grafana API),
a weekly email report for tracking/response to courses

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Riot improves cybersecurity awareness in a playful way. Simulating attacks helps employees better identify and respond to threats. This strengthens our company's defenses in the field of cybersecurity.

  ### 43. A modern and pragmatic solution for changing cyber behaviors

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lise G. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Riot?**

Riot's philosophy and potential for evolution align perfectly with our vision of transforming cybersecurity behaviors.

We believe that change happens when people understand the risks and are eager to learn ways to defend themselves, both professionally and personally. The content we deliver needs to be targeted, pragmatic, and seamlessly integrated into the users' digital environment—adding yet another tool on top of all the others only adds to the noise.

Riot enables us to:

Gain a granular view of our users. For example, with smart groups, we can quickly identify our most vulnerable or top users and deliver relevant content to help them improve or stay motivated.
Enhance our monthly phishing simulations. These simulations are targeted, randomized, and translated into different languages—something we couldn't achieve until recently.
Deliver regular educational content that is concise, concrete, engaging, and easily consumable on any type of device, via Albert (MS Teams bot).
We appreciate that the learning content is delivered through Albert in Teams because users are overwhelmed with new tools and information. It's essential to integrate into their daily tools to offer a single entry point to cyber resources. Moreover, information reaches the user, not the other way around, and at the right moment (e.g., detection of non-activation of MFA, weak passwords...).

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

These are suggestions of what can be further improved rather than features that I don't appreciate. I would suggest improving the simulation and awareness-raising reportings and KPIs so they can be reliably used as incentives for our local cyber presentatives.

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Riot enables us to:
- get a granular view of our users. For example, with the smart groups, we're able to get a list of our most vulnerable/top users at a glance and deliver relevant content to get them to improve or stay motivated.
- improve our monthly phishing simulations. The simulations are targeted, randomized and translated into different languages - which we were not able to achieve until recently.
- deliver regular educational content that is concise, concrete, engaging and easily consumable on any type of device, via Albert (MS Teams bot).

  ### 44. Riot Cybersecurity: An essential platform for proactive cybersecurity management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tania D. | Ingénieure Cyberdéfense, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Riot?**

Riot Cybersecurity is a robust and essential platform for strengthening the security posture of companies against digital threats. With advanced features for detection, analysis, and incident response, it effectively secures IT infrastructure. The integration of Albert, our virtual assistant, enhances the understanding of cybersecurity issues by offering immediate help on complex technical questions. Albert provides precise answers on vulnerabilities, best security practices, and risk management strategies. This platform facilitates team collaboration and training, while reducing response times to security incidents. An essential tool for any organization concerned about its cybersecurity.

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

Although Riot Cybersecurity has many qualities, there could be some areas for improvement. For example, the learning curve could be a bit smoother for less experienced users in cybersecurity. Some advanced features may require an adaptation period and initial training to fully benefit from them.

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Riot Cybersecurity helped us enormously to solve several technical issues from the integration of the solution. The platform was essential for overcoming challenges related to cybersecurity culture within our team, by facilitating awareness and continuous training. Additionally, thanks to its automated tools, we were able to effectively report and analyze phishing attempts, thus reducing potential risks for our organization. Riot not only simplified security management but also improved our teams' responsiveness to digital threats. An indispensable asset for any organization.

  ### 45. Realistic simulations that make a difference

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Riot?**

The simulation campaigns are particularly realistic and come very close to reality.

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

There is sometimes a lack of choice in the selection of the "fake" sender domain on certain models.

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This allows all employees to remain aware of the issues related to cybersecurity and phishing.

  ### 46. Cyber security awareness without pain ;-)

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Frederic M. | IT Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Riot?**

User interface very friendly - Easy to implement (less than 1 hour) - Easy to create customised phishing campaigns - Short interactive lessons on cyber security with Albert are liked by my users. I'm using it every quarter and it's very convenient for assessing again and again my users. The support is always available and we have recurring meetings with the support team for checking our best usage of the product.

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

I'd like to get monthly beautiful dashboard with graphics

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Riot enables us to educate our user regarding security.
By implementing quaterly phishing campain, we are pushing our users to be more vigilent and also they are keen to learn more (thanks to Albert ;-))

  ### 47. Top tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicolas P. | Deputy CTO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2024

**What do you like best about Riot?**

We have been using Riot since 2021, and it is a true lever for improving cybersecurity awareness within our company. One of our best investments!

The strengths that convince us:
- Clear and well-designed training sessions, suitable for all profiles, that capture attention and make concepts accessible.
- Realistic simulations, ideal for preparing teams to identify and respond to threats. (many templates and customization options available!)
- A comprehensive dashboard that provides an overview of progress and areas to work on.
- The solution evolves over time and offers new relevant features (like AutoPilot, for example).

Since its deployment, Riot has significantly strengthened our teams' security posture: widespread adoption of multi-factor authentication, increased vigilance against cyberattacks, and improved practices regarding passwords and digital footprint.
We highlight it during our cybersecurity audits, and it allows us to prove that our staff is perfectly trained and aware.

Riot has become a key partner in our cybersecurity approach, and we recommend it without hesitation to all companies wishing to raise awareness among their employees in an effective and engaging manner.

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

For employees already familiarized in the first year, the courses are already known and they should evolve over the years to be offered again to employees in a slightly different form from their initial course. However, there is the solution of briefs (Nudge) which partially addresses this issue. Nothing prohibitive and it does not call into question the value and interest of Riot.

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Riot allows us to effectively raise awareness among our teams about cybersecurity, reduce human vulnerabilities through realistic simulations, and significantly improve our overall security posture.

  ### 48. Albert is your bestfriend!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Riot?**

Using the Albert AI bot to deliver cybersecurity training via Slack and Microsoft Teams was a huge success, allowing users to interact with and complete training on their own time without my having to schedule appointments.

Key points of what I liked:

1) Seamless integration into our existing environment, installation being quickly and easily done.
2) Interactive experience with Albert; despite all its limited conversational context, it keeps focus relentlessly focused on cybersecurity awareness in a fun way.
3) Interactive training dialogues that interactively engage users and instruct them through discussion.

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

I would appreciate that phishing simulations are released on other platforms like WhatsApp, Telegram, or SMS to educate users even more on threats within mobile platforms.
The platform also has limited options for customization, which can restrict tailoring the experience to specific team needs.

**What problems is Riot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

t doesn't require me to conduct training or coordinate time with users."

  ### 49. easy, fast, and efficient

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin B. | Administrateur réseau, sécurité et télécom, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

Quick to deploy, easy to use, good employee engagement. Simple and clear courses that can be followed at any time. Not too long to avoid "disturbing" too much but comprehensive enough for the subject to be assimilated. Follow-up with the RIOT team is top-notch! The phishing attack simulations that are conducted continuously with different models allow for greater effectiveness.

**What do you dislike about Riot?**

For the moment, nothing, the product meets our expectations.
