**What do you like best about RingCentral Events?**

I absolutely love Hopin. It's an easy-to-navigate virtual event platform, making it the perfect tool for professional endeavors. It's also great that presenters can host events for free - a bonus for novice organizers and attendees alike. Its sleek design makes creating new events with Google Calendar effortless, and you can instantly connect with other users - talk about an excellent networking opportunity! At first, I was unsure if I would be comfortable using this site, but over time, fantastic features like these have eroded my hesitation.

**What do you dislike about RingCentral Events?**

I don't like that Hopin doesn't automatically adjust audio settings when something like removing headphones or physically disconnecting a microphone causes a problem. This forces users to reload the page to resolve technical issues, which can be time consuming and inconvenient. I would like the system to have built-in features that can quickly and efficiently resolve any audio issues.

**What problems is RingCentral Events solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Thanks to Hopin, I'm now able to create an interactive online space where consumers and staff can connect through video calls and messaging. This gives me the ability to share knowledge without being physically present.

**What do you like best about RingCentral Events?**

I was blown away by the level of service and customization that Hopin provided. Their platform gave us a deep relationship as well as a personalized experience tailored to our needs. The helpful information they provided made it easy for us to get up and running right away - an aspect we really appreciated. In addition, the amount of data available through their systems left me speechless. And if I ever needed assistance during or after a presentation, prompt help from knowledgeable agents was always just a phone call away.

**What do you dislike about RingCentral Events?**

We would like to disable the option that allows viewers to observe group sessions without sharing audio/video and implement an opt-in for notifications when messages are shared. In addition, we'd like more flexibility in setting options, including, but not limited to, breaking attendees into smaller groups during presentations and then reuniting them with the larger audience after a predetermined time period.

**What problems is RingCentral Events solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hopin solves the problem of hosting large online events. It allows users to easily navigate through digital booths, join and host sessions with customizable settings for panel setups, quizzes/polls, Q&As, and more, all in one integrated platform.

**What do you like best about RingCentral Events?**

The best thing about Hopin is its comprehensive set of features for creating engaging online events. From the easy-to-use admin dashboard that allows us to create activities and manage virtual talent, to the detailed reporting capabilities that allow us to follow up with attendees in a meaningful way, Hopin has enabled our team to effortlessly produce highly interactive content. In addition, StreamYard's backstage integration eases the burden of managing media transitions by providing an intuitive platform optimized for remote broadcasting; this was critical to ensuring that all event viewers had a seamless experience no matter what device they were using.

**What do you dislike about RingCentral Events?**

I would love to see Hopin include a check-in option for hybrid events. This feature could save time and resources by eliminating the need to rely on additional tools, while allowing us all to check in quickly through an automated process. Although requests are usually granted with some delay, this is still satisfactory by today's standards; incorporating this type of functionality into the interface would be more efficient and appreciated by users.

**What do you like best about RingCentral Events?**

I love how easy it is to use Hopin to create amazing virtual events. The admin interface offers a simple, intuitive menu on the left side that allows you to modify all aspects of your event, from registration and follow-up emails to media participation. With clearly marked locations accessible to presenters, networking opportunities and other helpful services available within the platform, hosting memorable experiences has never been easier. I'm always impressed with how professional my events look, even though they were easily put together using the software's features.

**What do you dislike about RingCentral Events?**

I appreciate the efforts Hopin has made to fix and improve issues with registration and sign-up. However, there are still improvements that need to be made to these processes, although some progress has been made. In addition, for certain situations, it may be more practical or beneficial to use alternative solutions rather than Hopin's platform itself.

I thoroughly enjoyed working with Hopin - their intuitive interfaces made administration and audience engagement a breeze. The robust customer support team was always reliable in providing timely assistance to our inquiries, regardless of the hour or day. We were also helped by features such as session-based chat on their handy smartphone app, which allowed for additional interactivity between attendees before events started; registration details could be quickly extracted from the 'hub', giving organizers themselves an instant view of activity well before the event began, as well as attractive graphical representations once it was over - all complemented by cost-friendly pricing compared to competitors, as their service proved to be flawless.

**What do you dislike about RingCentral Events?**

I dislike that Hopin does not allow vendors access to the venue in advance to ensure everything is set up before guests arrive. In addition, moderators lack basic moderation tools such as the ability to silence users or prevent them from participating. In addition, one of the five stage screens must be dedicated to screen sharing, and technical issues still arise with Chrome - which Hopin recommends.

Hopin solves the problem of in-person events being difficult to attend due to current circumstances. By using Hopin, I am able to easily connect with attendees from around the world without having them physically attend our conference. This gives me more opportunities for greater reach and helps increase engagement within my network.

**What do you like best about RingCentral Events?**

I appreciate the ease with which event organizers and attendees can use Hopin. The lack of customization due to coding limitations is a drawback, but sometimes this simplicity is preferable for certain events or meetings. I would like to give special recognition to the account manager assigned to us, who helped us every step of the way during the preparations for our meeting; he was very quick to help and answered questions whenever we asked them! As the number of events planned on Hopin grows, over time it will become easier for all users to become familiar with how it works.

**What do you dislike about RingCentral Events?**

I wanted to use Hopin as a central meeting place for its users, but the experience was not optimal. The lack of live interaction between presenters and audience members hindered the potential engagement that could be achieved during live meetings. In addition, when seminars are presented in recorded form, it can be frustrating to avoid potential problems with the platform by using pre-recorded material - this makes lectures sound boring, have an unengaging tone and a slower pace.

I used Hopin's troubleshooting capabilities because it made organizing my online event faster and easier. Because the system is so easy to use, I have easily organized many successful Zoom meetings and live YouTube videos for my participants.

**What do you like best about RingCentral Events?**

Because of its powerful and easy to use features, I love Hopin. Its feature set is perfect for creating virtual or physical events ranging from company meetings to conferences with large audiences around the world. I'm particularly impressed with the ease with which users can create dynamic content that facilitates engaging conversations at any event. It's also very convenient for presenters to have access to a messaging system that allows them to contact individual attendees as well as create schedules for entire groups while efficiently moderating an event on one platform.

**What do you dislike about RingCentral Events?**

I do not like that Hopin can be difficult to navigate for those who are new to it. It's clear that the chat feature is designed with separate channels for talking about the main event and individual booths, but this could easily confuse attendees unfamiliar with it. Also, since people often have trouble participating in these sessions in general, using a single messaging system may make it more difficult than necessary to ask someone to turn on their camera at the booth.

**What do you like best about RingCentral Events?**

My favorite thing about Hopin is its reliable and intuitive virtual event platform. We have great customer service and a lot of support from them to ensure our events run smoothly. With their scalable technology, you can adjust the number of attendees or elements available at any given time, based on your specific event needs. Additionally, you can create an inviting experience just like an in-person meeting without actually traveling anywhere by using their live streaming capabilities with interactive chat boxes, exhibitor booth management tools, etc.

**What do you dislike about RingCentral Events?**

I dislike that there were significant glitches in the login and registration process on Hopin. This resulted in difficulty locating confirmation emails, the need for some people to re-register, and the need for me to issue refunds. In addition to these technical issues, I was also disappointed by the glitch with the landing page button, which loaded but then disappeared when people clicked it and tried to enter/access something else.

I love how user-friendly Hopin is. All my events include guest speakers, and Hopin makes it easy for new users to join and present.

The platforms can sometimes get cached and some features are blocked. Usually resolved by updating Chrome or clearing my cache.

We originally purchased Hopin to run our virtual customer conference. We later replaced Gotowebinar with Hopin for our weekly webinars.

The interface of Hopin is user-friendly and visually engaging, which makes it easy for attendees to explore different sessions and communicate with presenters. I really like the Networking tool, as it helps participants establish connections and have one-on-one conversations with other professionals. The Expo area is a practical way to showcase our products and services in virtual booths, generating leads and interacting with potential clients. The live streaming feature works well, integrating high-quality video and audio seamlessly. Moreover, Hopin's detailed analytics provide insights into attendee behavior, which helps us improve our strategies for future events.

It would be beneficial if Hopin offered more options for integrating with our cloud services for better resource management. Sometimes, the chat functionality can feel a bit cluttered and limited, making it hard to follow ongoing discussions.

**What do you like best about RingCentral Events?**

We are pleased to have selected Hopin as our preferred platform for hosting virtual events. Its user-friendly interface, response time, customer service, and reporting capabilities have made it a top choice among the industry's leading SaaS providers. What we like most is the ease of communication between presenters, vendors, and attendees - all without additional downloads or setups, which is incredibly convenient for first-time users. Working with the team has been great, from sales to the introduction to the system to our first event; they made us feel genuinely taken care of every step of the way! We are confident that anyone who chooses Hopin will be pleased with their experience, no matter what type of meetings or gatherings they need the software.

Although Hopin has successfully met most of our needs and improve existing features, there are still issues with the registration process that could be improved. We would also have liked to see some attendee matchmaking option introduced to better accommodate events, but fortunately, a workaround for this problem has also been found. While it could be better for some, we're progressing toward a more seamless Hopin experience from start to finish.

**What do you like best about RingCentral Events?**

Hopin's high level of interactivity and personalisation is great. It was extremely user-friendly and easy to adapt to our needs. In addition, their knowledge library, while not exhaustive, contains a wealth of important information and when we needed help it was provided promptly. The fact that complete measurements were taken both during and after the project was a fantastic asset. We also found it hard to believe that the whole event was captured on film. Before choosing Hopin, we spoke to a number of other suppliers and we could not have been happier with our choice. Hopin exceeded our highest expectations.

**What do you dislike about RingCentral Events?**

I despise the way Hopin immediately displays a registration form while hiding a small link to an alternative registration option. Although the screen is intended to encourage signups, many users may mistake the "email already in use" error message for a login prompt and navigate to the login page. Some users may become frustrated, attributing the problem to the system rather than addressing the underlying cause of the invalid email.

**What do you like best about RingCentral Events?**

I appreciate the ease and simplicity of Hopin's administrative and user interfaces. The supportive customer service team is available any time, day or night, which made it a convenient platform to use for large events like ours. Their chat feature was also very helpful in facilitating interactions between individuals during their sessions. Thanks to their feature-rich backend 'hub', we can easily access registration/profile data and monitor activity with relative ease too. Participants also had an easier experience navigating through due to its accessible menu items/iconography structures being reused throughout; while the 'beta' statistics tool helps us gauge how popular & engaging each session has been on top of the value proposition they offer - flat learning curve + high durability at a cost lower than competitors make this a hard deal to beat.

**What do you dislike about RingCentral Events?**

We dislike that Hopin does not allow us to disable the ability to view group sessions without providing audio/video, and notifications for important announcements are often missed. We would also like more control in certain circumstances. We also wish there was an option to break the audience into smaller groups so that they can collaborate before being reunited with the larger audience after a period of time.

**What do you like best about RingCentral Events?**

I love how easy Hopin makes it to network and participate in group discussions. Instead of going to conferences, job fairs or events to network, I can do it all here! The chat features make it easy to identify specific people who have knowledge that could be valuable and quickly ask questions directly to the presenters. This virtual environment is designed so that everyone can communicate clearly with each other, regardless of location - almost as if we were together face to face. It allows you to replicate the same conversations as if we were in person.

**What do you dislike about RingCentral Events?**

We have found that making changes to an individual's Hopin ticket can be quite cumbersome. As each customer's event tickets are created through the use of Magic Links, changing or swapping a ticket type is quite complex and not as easy as one would expect. This issue causes customers to experience longer waiting times when trying to upgrade their tickets, which we deeply dislike about Hopin's system.

I was able to ensure the success of our online trade show with the help of Hopin. The chat functionality in larger rooms made it easy for me to moderate discussions, and I found that live interaction between attendees felt more natural when they were connected via video in smaller rooms.

**What do you like best about RingCentral Events?**

Attendees at our event on Hopin were left speechless after watching the live broadcast. Even as we became more familiar with the features in the user interface, we were able to uncover many ways that attendees could engage. For example, they could interact with materials, staff and fellow attendees. We found StreamYard's backstage integration extremely useful for media switching and talent management, which together allowed us to quickly follow up on attendee feedback - making the flow of information between marketing teams, sales reps, product engineers, etc. Much smoother.

**What do you dislike about RingCentral Events?**

I appreciate the efforts to make Hopin's backend user friendly, but I find the menus to be rather unintuitive and difficult to understand. Furthermore, it is not easy or straightforward to customise the platform with my brand's colours correctly. In addition, it has been a challenge for me to figure out how to integrate Google Slides or videos into the exhibition booths during the event creation process.

Hopin helped me a lot with making our online user conference run smoothly and professionally. The versatility of their system allows me to focus on creating engaging content for attendees, knowing that they have access to a secure and enjoyable virtual event experience.

**What do you like best about RingCentral Events?**

I particularly appreciate Hopin's user-friendly interface, ease of setup and compatibility, which make it an ideal platform for both event organisers and attendees. There are customisable automated emails with different chat options depending on usage, such as event chat, stage chat or even within session chats, allowing us to connect with fellow attendees in a structured way. In addition, I find that the sessions offered extend the experience of our guests far beyond lectures by facilitating conversations on topics of interest to them at their own convenience during networking events.

I dislike Hopin's steep learning curve and the fact that it takes months to implement updates. I also find their new registration package overly complex as many users may not need all the features, which makes me feel like my time is being wasted. Also, having to relearn strategies frequently due to the long periods between competitions can be quite inconvenient.

Hopin's cutting-edge virtual event powers, which make planning events simple, are one of its outstanding features. I also value the comprehensive statistics and analysis tools because they enable me to better understand participant involvement and enhance upcoming events. Another significant benefit of it is its smooth connection with other programs like Slack and Salesforce.

Hopin may fall short in some areas, such as in-depth statistics and advanced marketing tools, for businesses that rely on these features. Additionally, tiny and medium-sized businesses might think the platform's costing structure is a little high.

Hopin is an excellent piece of software that offers a complete answer for seminars and virtual gatherings. Businesses that want to avoid using numerous tools to plan an event can save time and money by using its all-in-one platform. Furthermore, it offers real-time analytics that enable you to monitor event activity and assess its achievement. Because it makes it simple for me to interact with participants and presenters, which aids in network building and knowledge expansion, it is very helpful to me as a user.

The support! The chat feature in the platform is very useful, and the team is quick to respond with informative answers

**What do you dislike about RingCentral Events?**

Marketo integration needs help. You can't sync per event, you have to have the sync on for all events or none at all, so if you have an internal event, all internal employees will also sync to marketo, which isn't ideal.
The email field is locked in and you cannot choose to map it with another Marketo field. People that use their personal email for their Hopin account and if you want their business email, you are stuck with receiving their personal email and cannot change the field mappings.
Emails communications are confusing, make sure you have the right confirmation email turned on otherwise you'll end up with a lot of pending registrations.
They have had a ton of internal changes which have resulted in us having 4 different AEs and CSMs in the past 2 years. It is not fun to get tossed around and you can tell the attention to detail has gone down with each change.

**What do you like best about RingCentral Events?**

Hopin is a platform that is so easy to navigate for the participant. There are only 5 buttons to pick from and they are always there on the left no matter where you are in the event. Hopin is always working to improve and has come a long way from even last year. They LISTEN to the feedback and implement the recommendations made by their users.

The Magic link process still need work. Not everyone gets the emails sent from Hopin either. They just disappear into the Ethernet. Thankfully their email system is undergoing an upgrade.

Hopin was there for us when we needed to make a quick pivot with our twice yearly conference. We will continue to use it for hybrid events even as we move back to in person. It allows us to give members around the world access and connection.

Configurability of events: ability to brand, include different areas (Stage, Sessions, Booths), control the flow, create/sell ticket types, track statistics -- for all different types of events. Also like Hopin's new Registration Page capability.

Platform is still relatively young. Features are still changing or being added, and it's sometimes hard to keep up. Customer support and training walkthroughs are very helpful, but there's been personnel turnover of late. Also, basic features, like a multi-session webinar setup, or picklists in registration forms, or post-event surveys, are either difficult to use or missing altogether.

Determine your requirements for a virtual events platform, and evaluate Hopin closely according to those requirements.

With Hopin, we have a scalable, interactive, online events platform for generating leads, interacting with our customers and users, demonstrating our products, and answering applications questions. We hope to also use Hopin for paid online trainings. The main benefit has been in the replacement of WebEx Events Center for webinars, and the replacement of in-person tradeshows, many of which were canceled or postponed during the pandemic.

At the moment, we find the email functionality within the platform to be one of the main drawbacks in terms of limited flexibility, email types and ability to easily send emails to individual attendees or groups at different times.

**What do you like best about RingCentral Events?**

Our event included pre-recorded and live panels, a Careers Fair, and good interactivity through the networking function. We aimed to replicate, as best as possible, the experience from our physical festival, and we were certainly able to achieve this with the opportunities available on Hopin. Both the organiser and user experience are very intuitive. The Hopin support team is incredible - queries/issues are usually responded to within a very short time frame, and the advice given always resolves the situation. The analytics feature is fantastic, allowing you to see in real-time what is going on at the event, as well as analysing data post-event.

**What do you dislike about RingCentral Events?**

It's less about disliking any features of Hopin, just more so some tweaks to the organiser experience. We would've liked analytics on emails sent through the platform, notifications for organisers when exhibitors/speakers have registered and a couple of other minor things which would've helped us during our event.

**Recommendations to others considering RingCentral Events:**

Be fastidious in your approach. Ensure your platform is as fleshed out as possible, whilst also giving as much information to your key stakeholders as possible - we did weekly newsletters with bitesized information, linking to the more fulsome guides.

Hopin allowed us to run our festival in its 16th year, something we would not have been able to do physically this year. Our event provides invaluable experience for our committee, as well as providing opportunity to LGBTQ+ students across the UK. We have already seen attendees advance their career journeys, and have also received incredible feedback on the content we produced for the festival which was hosted on Hopin.

no need to create an account, easy login via magic link. Schedule - easy to organise your agenda. Coould be nice to be able to add comments, attachtment under each track.

The app doesn't offer a way to search for a specific delegate. The expo area doesn't look great but I'm not sure what else you can do - perhaps a interactive floor plan for people onsite?

I am a startup co-founder, and I first experienced the first virtual event at Hopin amidst covid. I am pleased to share I had around six private meetings, and one got very interested and took the conversation from Hopin to Gmail and then Whatsapp.

**What do you dislike about RingCentral Events?**

Two weeks ago, I participated in Hopin again as the exhibitor had a booth, but this time I received some magic link in the mail to set up a booth, and it wasn't very clear how to do it. I forwarded the mail to my other teammate, and she also got confused about how to do it. So, 3 hours before the event, we again tried, and the link worked. We were somehow able to set up the booth, but it was very hectic. One more unfortunate thing that happened was while we were trying server was in some error and not working. It was challenging like there were two links (one for setup and the other to join the event). Like should it be only one link to access the pre-event or during the event, we can set up the booth and change links and other settings. Because during the event, we had to change a few settings, and I always had to find the setup link in an email. 

Now another thing that was most difficult this time, during set up booth, there was an option I cant remember correctly Choose Moderator (the person who will be there for live interaction). I saw other people's names and got confused about who they were and why I was seeing this list? Are these people from the event team for my booth or what? Anyway, I contacted the support team, and they explained you could type your name and will see yourself in the list and choose yourself as a moderator. My feedback to this should not be my id be selected by default and have a + button if you want to add another moderator User friendly.

3rd, during events I was sending all the participants private messages and after sending like 60 messages I notice a small green light on their profile and noticed that light means the person is active and the 59 messages I sent to people they were offline. So there should be a filter option for better experience.

Events stopped during covid and could not be attended due to vast distance. So, time, money, and travel fatigue. One more thing now, I can join events in my PJs to help gain confidence.

You can build out your event page and customize the registration form and support is very responsive. Their system captures UTMs, so you're able to see the source of your ticket sales.

**What do you dislike about RingCentral Events?**

There are a few things.

- You pay for registrants, even if you aren't charging registrants to attend the event (and it gets pricy if you're going to run multiple events)
- The Salesforce integration has been SUCH A PAIN. It doesn't work and our admin is having to do manual uploading
- Once someone registers there IS NO WAY for them to "upgrade" their ticket. So if you want to run a promotion to your free registrants to upgrade their ticket, good luck! You have to create a separate event or go through a manual process of removing their registration and re-registering them for the upgraded ticket.
- There are no anchors or subpages on the custom event page, so you can't link to a "premium ticket" section or a speaker section. It's very limiting!

Hopin, please make these updates!

We need a really good in-event experience for our prospects and users, and Hopin seems to be ideal for accomplishing this. We haven't hosted the event yet, so only time will tell.

The platform provides all the different options for different needs - a fully pre-recorded event, a mix of live and recorded videos, multiple live speakers, and so on. I loved how your could configure everything based on what you wanted to get out of it.

I wouldn't call that a downside, but a small inconvenience. There were different integrations within Hopin for the streaming, let's say, or the live captions. And having a short time, we needed to go and read the documentation of different services.

An inconvenience was that we couldn't upload a long HD video directly to hoping and that the auto-captions couldn't be edited and adjusted.

We were having a feature unveil event. It was the first time for us, so we were learning on the go. Hopin was covering the event from start to the end - the landing page, the registrations, the emails being sent to the registrants, the event itself. Hopin is a great platform for event attendees to get the most out of a virtual conference/summit/etc. Everything we wanted to feature, we were able to integrate into Hopin so it became the one and only destination for our attendees. From a guest's perspective, everything was cleanly laid out, easily accessible, and visually pleasing.

**What do you dislike about RingCentral Events?**

There is a significant learning curve for administrators setting up the platform for an event. We only had a monthly plan which didn't come with a dedicated support team to guide us through set-up, and while we figured everything out on our own, there were quite a few trial and error moments. The hopin team was incredibly responsive, though, so while we didn't have a dedicated support team, the general support team helped resolve all of our issues almost instantly.

Our event brings together 60 organizations and thousands of attendees for discussions and networking. What Hopin offers is the perfect solution for an all-virtual event that require attendee engagement, networking, and interaction.

- With Hopin's simplicity comes limited customization. Simple things like tiles for different areas can't be customized outside of color. This limits your ability to brand. 
- Some customization did require custom CSS work with our Hopin support team
- We had 2x minor video lags with pre-recorded content on the day of our events
- No gamification native to Hopin - standard on many platforms
- Hopin does not have the ability to host documents for attendees to download, which is also standard on other platforms
- As you probably heard, Hopin recently went through multiple layoff rounds. This meant we had to start over with a new support team twice, which was incredibly disruptive to our contract.

Our Hopin event team was very helpful and encouraging. From the moment we began working with our sales agent, we knew it would be the best solution for our annual conference.

One of the downsides is the fact you are limited to your attendee numbers.  We'd love to use the platform for more events, but when a large percentage of the profit is being taken out, it does not make sense when compared to a platform like Zoom for a one-off event or webinar.

The analytics you receive in either the Growth or Business Plans are worth the additional costs.

Hopin really is an all-in-one solution for summits and conferences.  It's very easy for attendees to use - and they are constantly updating and taking in new feedback!  From the networking solutions, to the exhibit hall, it really makes the whole event accessible and encourages attendees and speakers alike to stay throughout the day and be more active participants in the event.

What I like the best about Hopin is that the platform has upgraded its features since the year it first launched. New features like APPS have been added to its integrations. They have also improved the User Experience in creating an event from scratch.

Further they released mobile apps for their platform both for the organizer and the attendees to make it easier to access the platform on the go.

**What do you dislike about RingCentral Events?**

Despite Hopin, being a great platform for virtual events, it has its own limitations based on my experience with the platform. They currently only support STRIPE payment for paid tickets. Not every tier has apps enabled for their account which is not the case for their competition which has all apps enabled on every tier.

Moreover, in terms of customizations and white-labeling of event pages, this is not available in Hopin. One cannot customize the default registration / landing page and set it on a custom domain.

**Recommendations to others considering RingCentral Events:**

For businesses looking for a platform to host their hybrid or virtual conferences, I highly recommend taking a look at Hopin.

Hopin solves the challenges with a Zoom subscription and that is a more engaging events that is not like just another web conference meeting. It allows us organizers to have a virtual conference / summit setup where the attendees have options to customize which sessions they would like to attend.

**What do you like best about RingCentral Events?**

First, let me say I love Hopin! I love how Hopin makes it easy to brand out their platform so it looks and feels like the company putting on the program. They offer color adjustments to almost every part of the platform and if something is missing they'll help you add some code to adjust those colors (I know because I did it). I also love that they are quick to respond via their help chat and if they aren't able to solve it immediately I always receive an email follow-up within a day or two with the answer. Overall on the marketing branding side of it, I have been very impressed with both the software and the company! I also love how it feels on the front end as a user who's gone to several virtual or hybrid events it makes the whole experience much smoother than any other platform I've come across.

**What do you dislike about RingCentral Events?**

There are a few things I wish were a bit easier:
1) Adding graphics and images that size correctly and don't get mushed to the Hopin email system is tricky and I generally have to give it several tries.  
2) Adjust the colors on the auto email they have built out (you have to go into the html and css code on the emails to adjust these). This is easy to work around by just building your own emails and turning off the majority of their auto emails.
3) I wish all the branding and marketing elements were located together on the platform as you need to click in and out of several locations to brand the front end of the event and to create & send emails.

We can now run seamless hybrid events that are well branded! The platform also allows us to let both our virtual and in-person audiences engage with the speaker and each other in many ways but we specifically use chat, Q&A, and the networking features. This has been a HUGE plus and something that countless people who have attended our events have been impressed by

The layout/ structure between users and organizations - this is less messy and confusing than Meta/Facebook's business/ad manager UX and UI, but could be clearer

Offering an affordable platform - the $99 option is really useful and the option to scale up is fair and easy to understand, although I do wish there was a slight discount that came with it.

Customization limitation on the event registration page. Our clients wanted to customize it more and make it more branded, but we were limited to the templates provided. I also had some issues with the emails. We customized all, but one of them was sent with the default messaging due to a bad UX.

We've now run over 70 events on Hopin and continue to grow our Business Breakfast TV events and the Great British Business festival on the platform. The online support has been invaluable and we now run events for clients on the platform as a service.

We are fascinated by being able to easily create events with great capacity that you can alternate between having your audience in the main room or managing them for small sessions. Also the issue of having networking has helped a lot for the objectives we have.

It is not something that we dislike so much, but so many updates means that if you detach yourself from the platform a bit, it takes a while in the learning curve to regain control of it.

We started using the platform 2 years ago as a replacement for the face-to-face events we run, it's been fantastic to have a site where you can digitally simulate the experiences one can have at large conferences. One of the most notable benefits is keeping the public happy by being able to continue participating in big events.

Ease of use for organizers; features and functionality; easy attendee experience; engaging. The acquisition of Streamyard was a game-changer and now allows us to create really sharp professional-looking events without needing much technical knowledge.

I honestly can't think of anything right now! Anything I've ever been less than satisfied with has been improved with a new feature release. The only things I'm still holding out for - a rehearsal function for an event, virtual background capability for speakers without a green screen, and a green room feature where we can prep speakers while there is another session going on!

**What problems is RingCentral Events solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was an early adopter of Hopin - I brought it on in June of 2020 as we were just figuring out our pivot to virtual and needed a platform for our very first October conference. I must have evaluated dozens of platforms, but always came back to Hopin - it almost seemed like most virtual events platforms out there were duplicating what Hopin had already created. It made not only our first conference a seamless and engaging experience, but it immediately leveled up all of our webinars and smaller virtual events. To this day, I've used Hopin now for 25 events. I'm continually impressed with how the team is always making improvements and taking their customer feedback to heart about the product and what would be useful for us. Every new feature release is a slam dunk! I can't wait to see how it continues to improve and involve.

I like the platform and the way people can navigate around the different virtual areas.  The platform is clear and works well with the broadcast studio streamyard - for me it is so much more stable and professional than things like Teams and Zoom

Breakout rooms are improving but we still need more controls e.g. random assigned but with option to place some people e.g. online facilitators.  Sometimes the registration process is still a little clunky but generally this is also improving

**Recommendations to others considering RingCentral Events:**

We have found that Hopin provided a platform that allowed us to progress to Hybrid events and online events which have received great feedback - we cover very sensitive subjects within our events and attendees have felt engaged and involved with the event whether at the event in person or online.  We have also found that during uncertain times you can sometimes lose speakers from events (who get called away to other priorities or a simply not allowed to travel) but now we simply have them stream in at high quality to our hybrid events.  We rarely experience the disappointment of a completely cancelled speaker/or session due to the reliability and ease with which we can use  Hopin/Streamyard.

I shared lots of feedback around breakout rooms, registration and broadcasting.  It has been great to see all these areas improving (or planned improvements in those areas).

The site is created with virtual events in mind.  I didn't feel like we had to reverse engineer everything the way we have with other platforms that aren't designed in this way.  Our account rep and the support team were incredibly helpful when we encountered issues to the point where I can't even complain about most of the minor glitches we encountered.

**What do you dislike about RingCentral Events?**

There were a few details that did not feel appropriately communicated during the sales process.  For example, we discussed the possibility of a five-day event with the sales rep only to be told during onboarding that the package we'd been sold limited us to a three-day event and there would be a significant price increase to host anything longer.  We were ultimately able to plan around these kinds of challenges, but there were a few frustrating moments in the process.

Hopin has allowed us to manage a large, complex conference with a high attendance in one unified platform.  It's streamlined our conference in a very helpful way.

The platform has an attractive interface, and the experience of visting an event from reception to Mainstage to sessions is straightforward to navigate. Presention on screen looks good also. Particularly like the feature that allows you to show questions posted to the feed on screen. I also like that the chat feed is saved.

When streaming from the main stage, recording isn't intuitive. All you need to do is tick a box, but that relies on you reading all the text before it. In my experience, there are no notfications or reminders offering you the option to record once you navigate to streamyard. You can run the most wonderful event, and forget to capture it.

Hopin is a much better alternative to presenting an online event via Teams or Zoom. It allows you to create a sense of event that the other two platforms don't offer. The booth and networking features add to that experience.

For our specific event, we used pre-recorded video content. The studio allows you to add a high level of production value, with the ability to add on-screen music, text, branding and more. 
The networking areas allow you to give your event attendees a true conference experience with 1:1 video networking opportunities. Most importantly, Hopin customer support makes sure you are never in the dark and that you are set for success.

For attendees, it should be easier for them to navigate to their connections area as well as access replays. Having more direct links from within their profile to these areas could be helpful and alleviate customer questions.

Hopin helps to deliver a great virtual event option that truly taps into the essence, vibe, and value of what an in-person conference should be like. **What do you like best about RingCentral Events?**

Hopin has the inbuilt landing page designs which make our job so easy. And, the integration is also seamless. We use Hubspot and Hopin and had no issues. The support is always helpful. I also like the reception area which allows us to create a community engagement before the event. We had trouble sending the confirmation emails from our marketing automation tool. But, hopin clears that gap and we were able to deliver the confirmation emails from Hopin with ease. If I compare zoom with Hopin, it's a way different tool. Hopin creates a lot of engagement and helps to grow the community audience better. We also have an analytics section that helps to understand and track the registrants easily. Hopin magic links help us to track and share the URLs with the vendors. If you ask me why we should consider Hopin, I would say it's because of its helpful support and the organized view to get everything set up in one place. It's more like the best event management software that I had used.

**What do you dislike about RingCentral Events?**

I have one dislike. Hopin provides magic links and the person who's registering through those links must go through two-step verification which will be a little disappointing. They can improve the email templates so that its even more flexible to edit.

If you would like to introduce the ticketing system where the person needs to pay the entry fee for registering then Hopin is the best to manage. The best recommendation I could give here is the go with the business plan and get all the required access that your team needs.

It's very important to drive demand through webinars and virtual events. With Hopin, we are building a community engagement event. Hopin helps us to host the virtual event seamlessly with a reception area. The attendees can also interact and book the meetings 1-1. We are solving the events engagement gap. We host many webinars but with hopin we do a great job in hosting the community events. Hopin solves most of the problems that you have with the other event management platforms. The best benefit I realized after using hopin is their ticketing system and the magic link tracking.

The cost may cause some sticker shock at first, but the support provided by Hopin is worth it.

**What do you like best about RingCentral Events?**

The chat support when your event is live is fast and efficient. The support team was very responsive and helpful. 

The replay feature is pretty cool.

We found polling to be intuitive. 

Breakout rooms have nice features such as setting the number of people in each room and the amount of time you want the breakout to last. It also provides a countdown and notifications to participants about the time left.

**What do you dislike about RingCentral Events?**

There is no way to test the software without using your attendee quota. We had to figure out a lot of issues and features with our live audience tuned in. 

It is super expensive considering there is no onboarding or voice support. 

There is no way to add registrants from the back end, you have to have published tickets. 

There is a limit of 20 screens to appear in a session so most attendees do not feel included and it's hard to have an open dialog. 

You cannot do breakout rooms from the main stage. Because we wanted the maximum amount of interaction, this meant we had to use "sessions" instead of the main stage for everything. As a result, you cannot use the Green Room function and your audience can see and hear you and your speaker while you are getting set up and testing the functions.

In sessions breakout rooms, you cannot assign people to certain rooms or allow them to choose a breakout room. People are only assigned randomly.

You cannot adjust the ratio of the presentation screen to the speaker and attendee screens.

Hopin enabled us to provide a virtual conference to an international audience including the APAC region.

The best thing about Hopin is how flexible the interface is. My organisation creates interesting, engaging online events which vary from webinars to roundtables to exhibitions to full-fledged hybrid conferences and Hopin lets us deliver all these different types of events with ease by making the front end highly customisable

**What do you dislike about RingCentral Events?**

The only downfall would be the data reporting side as for hybrid events it is difficult for us to pinpoint which delegates logged in from the physical venue and which delegates remotely. This might not be essential for all customers, but as a hybrid event provider, it is quite important for us to be able to distinguish between the two. We currently do this by comparing multiple reports

**Recommendations to others considering RingCentral Events:**

I definitely recommend giving Hopin a try. As a business, we have used multiple event platforms in the past 2.5 years and so far HHopin has been the permanent star. Even though the functionalities across multiple platforms are quite similar, it is the ability to customise, business support and ongoing innovation that helps Hopin be an industry leader. Hopin is constantly integrating various different software onto their platform which helps provide the most engaging experience for our delegates.

Hosting events in Hopin has enabled us to reach a wider audience and grow our audience whom we typically wouldn't have been able to reach due to geographical limitations.

The best parts of using Hopin are the Networking abilities because I get to meet and interact with so many new and exciting people. I think it also beats out the competitors in that it allows for so much integration from other apps that help everything flow so smoothly.

The downsides of using Hopin that it is still growing and figuring out some issues as it grows. The mobile apps is just not good and not helpful at the moment. Which really hurts the platform since I would love to use Hopin on the go.

Hopin has the best infrastructure of any online event service with updates coming monthly.
