The networking feature is a great tool to help give programs the live event feel. It would also be helpful if sessions could be uploaded or mass edited. They have been responsive to requested changes, and their team has been there to help find solutions. They have most recently changed thier pricing model to better serve useres who are running free online events, chargeing by number of attendees rather than registrations. **What do you dislike about RingCentral Events?** Very little to not like. The learning curve migth be a little steep, but they've laid it out very well. And they offer both simple solutions and more complex options for greater customization. **What problems is RingCentral Events solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use it for my virtual events. No lame graphics of potted plants and fake buildings to navigate. Hopin's design team continues to innovate and bring new features online with virtually all helping accomplish our goal of trying to delight the customers **What do you dislike about RingCentral Events?** Expo booths need more options for links and uploaded content - sponsors are requesting spots for white papers and video links but we hope the Hopin engineers are bringing this soon! I wanted something that would link up with Hubspot and be able to scale as we start to do more types of events. The flexibility to do larger scale events and small sessions or webinar style is a pro as well. **What do you dislike about RingCentral Events?** I'm a decently technical person but the Hubspot integration was a little tricky just to make sure it was set properly and still wish there were some other items that passed more easily between the systems. From checklists that walk you through set up, to easy to use and manage controls for presenters, speakers and attendees alike. It has a really professional look and feel. I also like that although our team doesn't use the landing pages or the automated emails, it's smart that all the marketing pieces can be managed from one place. I also liked the customer support. I attended a very comprehensive onboarding session and I found that to be helpful. Because RingCentral is so easy to use we'll be scaling the frequency of webinars we'll run on the team. **What do you dislike about RingCentral Events?** I think the Marketo integration could be better. Given that marekto is a widely used marketing automation platform I was surprised to learn that attendee information doesn't pass seamelssly into marketo and requires a manual upload. This is crtical for making the platform really useful for lead generation. I also enjoy how easy it can be to learn ringcentral to help get an event up and set up in little effort. The ability to integrate other features into the events also allows us to be more engaging with attendees before, during and after the event. **What do you dislike about RingCentral Events?** One drawback I've noticed is occasional glitches during high-traffic periods, which can disrupt the flow of virtual events. Also sometime's it can be tough when there are multiple panelists that need to share the stage at the same time and four people can hear them but not everyone else, so it means that they have to keep leaving and coming back in until everyone can hear them. **What problems is RingCentral Events solving and how is that benefiting you?** RingCentral events addresses a few challenges in organizing virtual events which are logistic's related, including custom registrations, managing attendees and speakers in advance, and being able to review the event with thorough analytics that can be exported into multiple formats. We use it for a virtual internship fair, and it's so great that everyone can have their booths, students can pop and out, hear and not go LIVE if they don't want to. It's set up just like a real in person fair. **What do you dislike about RingCentral Events?** It was very Glitchy and we had a lot of technical issues. Students in a Session could be heard in one of the expo booths, we had some folx who couldn't change the name appearance of their account, and there was not a lot of support or accessiblity for a sightless individual that participated. It would have been great if there was a "bing" sound for notificaitons and DMs. A "bing" when students entered a booth. A way to make verbal messages. We did attend an on-boarding that was helpful and the individuals helped us with customer support and took our concerns. Hopin was fairly user friendly and we enjoyed the features like the registration page, the back end streaming to the stage, the chat boxes (both chats for the individual location you're in but also a chat that broadcasted to the whole platform) as well as the networking feature with the speed dating. Honestly, the speed dating feature in netoworking, was one of the coolest parts about their virutal events. It made icebreakers and networking really easy to facilitate for an administrator. Expo booths were also great for sponsorship integration and recognition. **What do you dislike about RingCentral Events?** Hopin has increased their pricing quite a bit which has made the platform not financially feasible for us anymore. The price, in relation to the limited features it has in comparison to so many of their competitors, is what made us leave their service. We used to have a monthly subscription with them and we ran upwards of 100 virtual events on their platform.
