The first thing that comes to mind when thinking of RightFont is "easy", because it really is a tool that is very easy to use if we ignore the errors that it presents during use, in addition to allowing a better organization of the different fonts that we have downloaded and then implement it to our designs in a much faster, more agile and simple way than it would normally be done Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It presents many errors during its use, although it says that it has integrations with dropbox and google drive to access the sources that are stored there, in my case it did not work well at all, I could never access the sources and In fact, even in the integration process, I think he deleted one, thankfully I had a backup and I didn't completely lose it, I think they should fix this problem. Was pretty quick for smaller font libraries.
Simple to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Tested it for a couple weeks and though it had some bugs we decided to use it for our small office of designers. Then bugs started appearing. First, shared libraries: Didn't work for large libraries shared on cloud (Dropbox). Would work for a few font families, but when we tried our full sets and it failed to update, failed to preview, failed to activate fonts for individuals. I'd see about 10% of the fonts that should have been accessible. We tried trashing the cache, rebuilding the font libraries (many times), reinstalling the app, etc... No luck. Works well for local, personal libraries, though. Other problems were relatively minor but included lag after installing more than a few thousand fonts. We're still using it in our group, working out hiccups. Overall, Rightfont works as well as Extensis Suitcase and is much more affordable. I also get the feeling that there will be fewer worthless updates and fewer attempts at gouging existing customers. Hopefully they will continue growing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
