## RidgeBot Reviews
  ### 1. Powerful and Efficient, Although It Requires Manual Validations

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Henry A. | Encargado de Cumplimiento y Continuidad +Interino Ciberseguridad, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 09, 2026

**What do you like best about RidgeBot?**

I like that RidgeBot helps me perform security assessments and penetration testing in an automated way, in addition to conducting risk assessments and reviewing vulnerabilities with zero false positives. The modern and robust AI-based technology is something we value for its speed in delivering reports. Furthermore, RidgeBot is easy to use, and although I initially needed to familiarize myself with the tool, once I did, it turned out to be very intuitive. This is something we highly value on the technical side, as we have many solutions and consoles, and the easier they are to use, the faster the adoption.

**What do you dislike about RidgeBot?**

Look, I think that even though I do the tests, I feel that I still have to do manual tests to have the confidence of a well-robust analysis. I think that with the audit compliance times, there are issues that I believe can be improved. Those are my only observations.

**What problems is RidgeBot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

RidgeBot helps me automate penetration testing, conduct risk assessments, and review vulnerabilities with zero false positives. Its modern technology and fast report delivery are valuable. Additionally, its ease of use enhances the adoption of the tool.

**Reviewed by:** Daniel Felipe P. | Jefe de Gestión de Tecnologías, Redes y Sistemas, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2026

**What do you like best about RidgeBot?**

What I like most about RidgeBot is its ability to proactively identify vulnerabilities and provide actionable remediation guidance. Instead of simply reporting security issues, the platform helps us understand the associated risks and suggests practical mitigation and patching measures. This significantly improves the efficiency of our vulnerability management process and supports a more proactive cybersecurity strategy. Additionally, the platform was easy to deploy and delivered valuable results during our Proof of Concept, demonstrating its effectiveness in strengthening our security posture.

**What do you dislike about RidgeBot?**

During our Proof of Concept, we did not encounter any major issues. If I had to suggest an improvement, it would be expanding the documentation and providing more advanced reporting and customization options to help organizations get even more value from the platform.

**What problems is RidgeBot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

RidgeBot is helping us address one of the most important cybersecurity challenges: identifying and remediating vulnerabilities before they can be exploited. Prior to using the platform, vulnerability assessments required more manual effort and made it harder to prioritize remediation activities effectively.

By providing proactive vulnerability detection, risk visibility, and actionable remediation recommendations, RidgeBot enables us to strengthen our security posture and make more informed decisions about risk management. The platform helps our team focus on the most critical issues, reducing the time required to analyze findings and implement corrective actions.

During our Proof of Concept, RidgeBot successfully identified security weaknesses and provided practical guidance for mitigation and patching. This allowed us to validate the effectiveness of the solution and gain valuable insights into areas where our security controls could be improved. As a result, we were able to enhance our vulnerability management process and adopt a more proactive approach to cybersecurity.

  ### 3. Quick, Easy Vulnerability Identification and Risk Validation

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christopher G. | IT Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 13, 2026

**What do you like best about RidgeBot?**

What I like with this product is that it is quick and easy to use and to identify vulnerabilities, simulate attacks and validate risks of our systems.

**What do you dislike about RidgeBot?**

Could have provide more details on resolutions in the generated report and lower its cost for domain (FQDN) as a target.

**What problems is RidgeBot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It will now give us more flexibility to perform Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing and enable us to schedule the testing based on quarterly cycle. Moreover, it also helps organization not only with compliance but also to know the security posture of the company and reduce the business risks identified.

  ### 4. Exceptional power of use

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rafael H. | CIO/CISO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2025

**What do you like best about RidgeBot?**

Its power of use, developing very powerful analyses on the assets

**What do you dislike about RidgeBot?**

Its licensing model, which distances its use in environments like ours that do not need such constant analysis and only require a confirmation of their status once or twice a year, but need that confirmation for legal requirements. It also distances it from use in special itinerant analyses that would require a credit model for our users who go to the solar plants.
I also miss some templates that would allow it to be used, for example, in "non-invasive" mode to be able to use it in high-criticality environments where nothing can fail, but without having to customize everything to ensure that nothing important is taken out of service.
Support for OT devices could also be improved.

**What problems is RidgeBot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

discovery of vulnerabilities in the hybrid enterprise infrastructure with a very large attack surface. In our case, its wide range of application solves our general problems in this field with a single product.

  ### 5. Effective Security Validation with RidgeBot

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Regidor R. | Lead System Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2024

**What do you like best about RidgeBot?**

I like that RidgeBot has no false positive results and can determine the impact of business criticality. It solves the problem of security validation by not only showing vulnerabilities but also validating them and confirming their business impact. Compared to other vulnerability assessment tools, RidgeBot tests or validates vulnerabilities to confirm if they are technically hackable and identifies the business impact, helping me know what to prioritize first. The initial setup is easy and straightforward.

**What do you dislike about RidgeBot?**

I think the documentation is lacking information especially on installation and upgrades. Also, some versions require a lot of resources.

**What problems is RidgeBot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

RidgeBot solves security validation by verifying vulnerabilities and confirming business impact, which helps prioritize threats. It offers accurate results with no false positives, saving time over other tools that don't provide prioritization.

  ### 6. Amazing Proof of Concept: attack automation is the differentiator of RidgeBot

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hayward S. | Assessor de TI, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2026

**What do you like best about RidgeBot?**

We conducted a Proof of Concept at the company where I work for the RidgeBot solution, and the result was surprising. Our colleagues from the Red Team benefited the most, but the automation of attacks is truly a differentiator of the solution.

**What do you dislike about RidgeBot?**

A disadvantage (although it's not exactly that) is that the tool automates so many things that, if the team wants to customize or do something simpler and more granular, it doesn't allow it. On the other hand, that is precisely the proposal: it was made to work that way.

**What problems is RidgeBot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The solution is priced more towards large corporations (like the company I work for) and I imagine that, for this reason, it is not as accessible for micro and small businesses.

  ### 7. Automated Pen Testing That Boosts Productivity

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jomir L. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 09, 2026

**What do you like best about RidgeBot?**

Automated Penetration Testing for more proditivity

**What do you dislike about RidgeBot?**

Don't completely replace a pentesting manual.
While advanced, it lacks the creativity and contextual analysis skills of a pentester's experience. Business logic flaws and complex scenarios still require human evaluation.

**What problems is RidgeBot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reduced reliance on specialists
Companies that don't have a large Red Team can perform advanced validations without frequently hiring manual penetration testers.

  ### 8. Centralized, Intuitive, and Effortless Platform

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katharine M. | Consult IT, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 24, 2025

**What do you like best about RidgeBot?**

RidgeBot is like having an automated penetration tester that works incredibly well. Its biggest advantage is that it not only lists vulnerabilities but also autonomously tests whether they can be exploited, saving you hours of manual validation and giving you a true picture of the risk. It integrates seamlessly into your development processes to find security issues early, without delaying releases. In short, it's an ideal tool for teams that need to scale their security, efficiently prioritizing critical threats and providing clear reports for immediate action.

**What do you dislike about RidgeBot?**

RidgeBot is a formidable tool for automating security, but it's fair to point out that its highly polished approach comes with a slight trade-off. By prioritizing efficiency and predefined workflows, it can feel a bit rigid for pentesting purists who enjoy the complete control and creative improvisation of tools like Metasploit. It's like comparing a high-end GPS to the freedom of navigating with a map: the former is incredibly efficient, but the latter allows you to discover alternative routes that automation might miss.

**What problems is RidgeBot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

RidgeBot is solving two key problems for us: time constraints and a lack of cybersecurity specialists. By automating penetration testing, it allows us to conduct continuous and consistent assessments without relying so heavily on human experts. This means we identify critical vulnerabilities much faster and, most importantly, confirm whether they are exploitable in practice before a real attacker can.

  ### 9. Close the Theory-Practice Gap in Security

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Soporte G. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2026

**What do you like best about RidgeBot?**

I really like RidgeBot's ability to bridge the gap between theory and practice in infrastructure security. I also find its initial setup intuitive and easy to implement.

**What do you dislike about RidgeBot?**

The impact on network performance, limitations in proprietary web applications, the learning curve.

**What problems is RidgeBot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use RidgeBot to detect vulnerabilities exploitable by cybercriminals, and it solves problems like false positives, shadow IT, and gaps between audits. I like its ability to bridge the gap between theory and practice in infrastructure security.

  ### 10. RidgeBot is a great security robot that's easy to set up and use.

  ### 14. Truly real attacks simulations like bad actors

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Luis C. | CISO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2025

**What do you like best about RidgeBot?**

What I value most about RidgeBot is its ability to simulate real attacks with concrete evidence of exploitation. This is a big improvement from traditional vulnerability scanning platforms that could generate many false positives. Working in a financial organization with high regulatory exposure, being able to validate which vulnerabilities are exploitable with real-world testing allows us to focus our efforts on what's truly critical.

**What do you dislike about RidgeBot?**

One area for improvement would be the custom reporting interface. Although the reports are detailed, for our regulatory purposes, it would be ideal to have exportable templates tailored to ISO 27001 or PCI DSS compliance without having to make manual adjustments.

**What problems is RidgeBot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

To comply with the proper separation of functions as part of the information security department's strategy, it was necessary to have a platform to identify vulnerabilities, security failures in the implementation of controls and the review of new technological components of the business.

  ### 15. Real World Pentesting

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John P. | Sales, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2025

**What do you like best about RidgeBot?**

What I like best about RidgeBot is how it helps automate penetration testing and can cover a huge chunk of vulnerabilities, maybe like 70–75% or more. You can even see the attack flow on the screen — how attackers might actually try to break in — which is kinda cool and useful for learning. There are different types of testing like ransomware testing too. It’s also easy to use, reports come out detailed enough to understand the issues fast, and it can even run multiple penetration tests at the same time which really saves time for us.

**What do you dislike about RidgeBot?**

There’s a few things that could be better. API penetration testing isn’t really there yet and should improve. Also, the interface could be nicer — more smooth to use — and for some users it would be great if reports were available in more languages.

**What problems is RidgeBot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

RidgeBot takes away the pain of doing manual pentesting that eats too much time. It finds vulnerabilities quickly, helps us understand how to fix them, and does automated testing again and again to keep things secure. That means we spend less time chasing every small issue and can focus on other important security work while RidgeBot handles a lot in the background.

  ### 16. AI Automation Pentesting

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Reniel D. | Sales, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2025

**What do you like best about RidgeBot?**

What I really like about RidgeBot is how it mix AI automation with penetration testing to give results that feel more real and not just a bunch of false positives. Setup is super easy, like just few clicks and you already running tests. I also like how it shows report even if the test not finish yet, so you don’t have to wait long.

**What do you dislike about RidgeBot?**

For new admins, setup might be a bit confusing at first. Also, the community support and documents not always there for every small problem, so you might need to figure out some things by yourself.

**What problems is RidgeBot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

RidgeBot save me from doing so much manual pentesting which takes too much time and cost too much. Now it can check risk, find vulnerability, and even do exploit testing all by itself. Before I needed many tools like Kali and others, now RidgeBot is enough, kind of like one complete tool for cybersecurity. It also use the newest hacking techniques, so it test the system like how real attacks happen, and it’s faster so we save time and energy.

The best about Rigebot is that it is the only penetration tester that validates and this prevents false positive findings. The installation is very easy and to use also. Just a few clicks and there you go, you just wait for the results. I like also the actual report even if the test is not yet over. Integration also to other 3rd party is relevant enough. Penetration testing is also flexible and you can frequently use it via on demand or schedule.

**What do you dislike about RidgeBot?**

Ridgebot is frequently updating. I think its base is not yet fully established

**What problems is RidgeBot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ridgebot solves the problem of manual pentesting that requires a lot of work, time and very expensive. Also the validation is not that accurate since manual pentesting deals with a great number of vulnerabilities

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2024

**What do you like best about RidgeBot?**

It is easy to implement, easy to manage, easy to use, and has excellent support in Spanish.

We use it in different projects as services, where the RidgeBot can be inside or outside the client's infrastructure. When it is outside, we can create VPNs for the client's infrastructure, as RidgeBot integrates with most VPNs on the market.

Clients who purchase it as a license love it because the learning curve is low.

**What do you dislike about RidgeBot?**

The Botle client, with it I can test privilege escalation vulnerabilities in Active Directory, EDR detection capabilities, and DLP detection capabilities.

**What problems is RidgeBot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Some markets or industry sectors in LATAM do not have sufficient maturity in Cybersecurity for this type of products. However, we see clients who said a resounding "NO" last year and are now requesting ProX licensing for their use this year.

The benefit is long-term, as a client may say no this year due to lack of budget or cybersecurity growth, but the need is there and over time it is increasing. This leads to them wanting the product over time.

**What problems is RidgeBot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

RidgeBot is a powerful automation tool that significantly enhances the efficiency and effectiveness of penetration testing (pentest) activities. It addresses several key challenges faced by pentesters, making the entire process faster and more streamlined.

One of the primary problems RidgeBot solves is the time-consuming nature of manual pentesting tasks. By automating repetitive tasks such as scanning for vulnerabilities, identifying misconfigurations, and executing common attack vectors, RidgeBot frees up valuable time for pentesters to focus on more complex and critical aspects of the assessment.

Furthermore, RidgeBot helps in reducing human error, which is often a concern in manual testing. By automating certain tasks, the tool ensures consistency and accuracy in the testing process, leading to more reliable results.
