I love iTWO costX because Im a construction Estimator and its the best Estimating Software I have used by far.Efficent since I first used MS Excel to do estimating this software has made it all easy and can even be able to store data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
At the moment the price its too costly so I can only access it at work as I do the company's work but for personal use I wish it was more affordable and I would be able to use it to Qunatify my work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Integrated measurement and workbooks equal easier checking and review. The workbook works much the same as Excel (same formulas, format etc), so seasoned industry professionals should be right at home. Measurement has some good features such as being able to manually change measured shapes afterwards. Server based, so if you're working on something with colleagues from another office, in theory things should be much simpler. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As mentioned above, CostX is based on a central server. This does mean that it is susceptible to IT issues; if the server is down you might not be able to use it. More in-depth than Autodesk or CATO, so learning needs to be structured and formalised. Output templates need to be created and uploaded by a 'super-user', which can be a logistical headache if they are unavailable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
