Having every one of the perspectives and sheets in a single record considers better document the board, report control and form lucidity. One update in plan will refresh every single other view that have the important data. Its ability is so high, having the option to work with basic or complex ventures. The multifaceted nature makes me feel like I am really fabricating something, rather than simply placing lines into illustrations, speaking to installations, channels, and so forth. Unfathomably productive program. From venture origination to development archives, Revit streamlines the procedure of compositional plan. **What do you dislike about Revit?** On occasion Revit can be excessively conventional. This shackles inventiveness somewhat. Working with companies that only use AutoCAD or only use Revit can be really hard. **What problems is Revit solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are slowly switching from AutoCAD to Revit and it has proven to help us with our 3D modeling significantly. There are workarounds to solve engineering problems but not directly coming from out of the box Revit **What problems is Revit solving and how is that benefiting you?** Example problems being handled by Revit in the electrical discipline are circuiting electrical devices and light fixtures and connecting them to panels to create panel schedules. We can match the one line diagrams with electrical 3D components as they are illustrated in the one line diagrams. ### 13. I like that so many people can use it at the same time. My colleagues and I are rarely on top of each other. It enables us to study architecture at different stages of design (simple massing during programming VS a completed construction drawing set that requires an immense amount of detail). There is truly no other BIM program that compares in my opinion **What do you dislike about Revit?** The user interface is not very good. Sometimes there are things I feel like should be in a certain place (intuitively) and it'll eventually show up in the strangest place. It is hard to trouble shoot issues when I have them (but that's usually because the projects are so large - so these/similar issues would pop up no matter what software I would be using). Better online support would be appreciated + more online tutorials for complex topics (ex railings) **Recommendations to others considering Revit:** I used a Lynda.com tutorial to learn the basics of Revit, which helped me with the basics. But to learn Revit truly (and fully appreciate its features), you have to actually use it for a specific project. It is also a great presentation tool during design to help clients get a feel for space and finishes. **What do you dislike about Revit?** I would assume any downsides to revit would be user error more than lack of software capabilities. The only real struggle would be stairs and railings. **What problems is Revit solving and how is that benefiting you?** we are able to design with many different types of structure such as CLT.
