"Efficient Filter for Opportunities and Aligned Culture"
5/5
What do you like best about Revelo?

I use Revelo to search for international opportunities and identify the best positions for my professional goals. I like that the filters are very precise and accurate, making it easier to find opportunities aligned with my profile. I love how the specialists at Revelo strive to ensure a good match between the company and the people. They ask questions about work style, leadership style, and how you like to be managed, which is really valuable and important to me. Revelo is very careful to ensure that when you go to a new place, the company's culture is aligned with your expectations and career goals. Additionally, the initial setup process is very easy and intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Revelo?

I believe they could improve in career growth, perhaps having an incentive from Revelo itself to guide companies towards salary increases, or even some extra bonus for employees. However, I understand that it is often expected that the professional working there day-to-day takes the initiative, but maybe for people who are more introverted, this could be done by the person responsible for the professional's experience. "Revelo's app makes you focused in what matters."
4.5/5
What do you like best about Revelo?

One thing I appreciate is that it doesn't bombard me with constant notifications—I only engage with it when I actually need to. I'm also a big fan of apps that offer a dark theme. On top of that, customer support has been solid, particularly thanks to Revelo's agents. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Revelo?

There's not much else to add. Everything has been working great on my end, and I haven't run into any issues so far. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Transparent Support, Great Clients, and Strong Benefits in Colombia & Brazil"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Revelo?

They are a third-party contractor. Still, they try to be as transparent as possible and help you without burdening you with duplicate administration. They’re there if you have any issues, but if everything is fine, they won’t bother you at all.

The clients are good, the relationship is good. The benefits, if you are in Colombia or Brazil are great. Are less good in the rest of Latin America, but still they makes sense. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Revelo?

As a remote company with a stronger presence in South America, the benefits in Central America feel more limited. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Exceptional Support and Job Placement"
5/5
What do you like best about Revelo?

I particularly like the Slack channels, where they greet everybody on birthdays and anniversaries. I also like the job board list they have in Slack, as it lets you browse and look for better opportunities. The support they give is also something I like; it's there to help if you have any issues with payments or anything else. The initial setup of Revelo was very easy and straightforward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Revelo?

In my case, the quarterly meetings for checkup are not really needed. I think I can do a text check-up because sometimes at work, we have a LOT of meetings and collide with the quarterly one sometimes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Swift Hiring with Revelo, But The First Deposit Is Concerning"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Revelo?

What I really like is how the speed of the shortlist changes how we think about hiring timelines. We submitted a role on Monday and had qualified candidates in front of us by Wednesday. For a small team where every week someone in the role has a direct impact on what we can ship, this turnaround is not something we could replicate through any other channel. It means we can move fast enough to secure good candidates before they accept offers elsewhere. The speed of the shortlist is valuable because it only takes two or three days to receive a new candidate who fulfills all our requirements. Getting started required almost no effort on the client's side with Revelo. The platform is clean and straightforward, so scheduling interviews and reviewing feedback doesn't require any training. Once we get the role brief right from the start, the rest of the process moves quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Revelo?

I dislike the deposit structure. Because you commit money before seeing a single candidate, and there is no refund if the search does not work out. For a startup watching cash flow, that feels like a lot of trust to extend to a platform you have not used before. A smaller refundable deposit at the first stage would go a long way towards building confidence with new clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from The Team of Revelo

Thank you for the thoughtful review, and for being open about both what worked and what gave you pause. Fast shortlists are something we care a lot about, so it's great to hear the Monday-to-Wednesday turnaround helped your team move quickly.

The deposit is fair to ask about, and we'd love to clear it up, because it works differently than what you wrote. You don't pay anything to review or interview candidates. You're only invoiced once you decide to make a hire, so you never commit money before seeing who you're getting. The security deposit we collect at that point is fully refundable and equal to one month: you always get it back. We hold it only to cover your final invoice, which guarantees your engineer is paid for their last month of work. There's no scenario where it becomes a sunk cost.

Your point about building confidence with first-time clients is a good one, and we've shared it with our team. If you'd ever like to walk through the details or have questions on an active search, reach out at hiredevs@revelo.com. Thanks again for giving us a try.

"Amazing service with proactive, supportive staff, that helps you get paid in USD"
5/5
What do you like best about Revelo?

Transparency and great support from staff. Not only do I know I can always talk to my "handler" there, but most of the time, they're proactive and reach out to me to check and propose improvements and solutions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Revelo?

Payment can be a little tricky, sometimes. I'm always paid, that's never an issue, but the day of the payment and some delays sometimes worries. So far, it hasn't been that common, but when it happens, it's not great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy To Hired Strong Senior Developer in Under Two Weeks."
4.5/5
What do you like best about Revelo?

It is really easy how Revelo handles the payroll and compliance side of hiring internationally, which was a big hurdle for us before. It deals with complex issues like contracts, mandatory benefits, tax withholding rules, and paying in different currencies without creating a mess. Revelo sits between us and these challenges by employing the engineer on their end, which simplifies things greatly. The onboarding process is straightforward, and after we fill in role details and expectations, the Revelo team takes charge. There's no complex system to learn or configure, and the majority of the work during the search happens on their end. From account creation to receiving our first shortlist took less than a week. The platform is clean, safe, and easy to navigate for scheduling interviews and managing candidate feedback. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Revelo?

The initiation fee is a real barrier when you are still deciding whether the platform is the right for you. It is nonrefundable, which means you are committing money before you have seen a single candidate. For a startup watching every dollar, that commitment feels uncomfortable, especially if you end up not finding the right fits on the first search. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from The Team of Revelo

Thank you for the kind words about our payroll and compliance handling. Taking contracts, benefits, and cross-border payments off your plate is exactly what we aim for, so it's great to hear that side worked well for you.

One thing in your review works differently than described: there's no initiation fee at Revelo. You don't pay anything to start a search, review shortlists, or interview candidates. You're only invoiced once you decide to hire, so there's never money committed before you've seen who you're getting. The only deposit we collect, at the point of hire, is a fully refundable security deposit equal to one month that covers your engineer's final invoice.

If anything about an active search is unclear, reach out anytime at hiredevs@revelo.com. We're happy to walk through it.

"Simplest And Effortless Hiring with Revelo's Shortlisting Process"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Revelo?

The best value is the candidate shortlist process in Revelo. It's impressive how they handle the entire process from defining tech stack, experience level, and availability. Within a couple of days, I have a handful of candidates that are already screened technically and for English proficiency, so I don't have to sift through hundreds of applications. The candidates we've interviewed are genuinely qualified, not just keyword matches. It's really important that Revelo handles all the tools and features for screening each resume and testing candidates for skills and English proficiency, saving us from manually doing it and wasting time. Additionally, getting started with Revelo is fairly quick; the platform is clean and easy to navigate, and we were able to move from brief to first interview in three to four days, which was faster than expected. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Revelo?

I think the initiation fee up front is a barrier, especially if you are not 100% sure yet whether the platform will work for your role. It's nonrefundable, so you are committing before you have seen any candidate. For niche or very senior roles, the shortlist can feel thin. We had one search where the options didn't quite match what we described, and the back and forth to refine it took longer than expected. More visibility into where candidates are in the pipeline would also be very helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from The Team of Revelo

Thanks for this. The shortlist process is the heart of what we do, so we're glad the pre-screened candidates and the quick brief-to-interview turnaround worked for your team. Your note about thin shortlists for very senior or niche roles is fair feedback too, and the refinement loop is something we keep working on.

We do want to correct one thing, because it could give other readers the wrong idea: Revelo doesn't charge an upfront initiation fee. Reviewing candidates and running interviews costs nothing, and you're only invoiced when you make a hire. So there's no scenario where you've committed money before seeing candidates. The refundable security deposit collected at hire simply guarantees your engineer's last month is covered, and you always get it back.

"Revelo For Talent Sourcing Is Effective and Seamless Compliance"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Revelo?

I love Revelo because they are incredibly valuable for our tech talent sourcing in Latin America, especially with the hiring manager's perspective. The talent matching filters are amazing as they save us from sifting through hundreds of random resumes on public job boards. Instead, Revelo provides us a highly curated shortlist of software engineers who've already passed rigorous live coding evaluations and English proficiency assessments, cutting our time to hire in half and significantly speeding up our hiring process. The platform's onboarding dashboard is exceptionally straightforward, offering a clean, step-by-step wizard where we can define our coding language needs, preferences, and salary parameters. This allows us to start reviewing candidate profiles within the first forty-eight hours. Additionally, Revelo acts as the employee of record, handling all original legal compliance and payroll distribution automatically, making managing international contractor compliance much easier without needing localized legal counsel. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Revelo?

Revelo needs to improve its direct integration with tools like Google Calendar and Slack, as there are frequent delays and basic features like rich text formatting and seamless file sharing are lacking. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from The Team of Revelo

Thank you for the thoughtful review. Curated shortlists of engineers who've already passed technical and English vetting, plus handling compliance and payroll so you don't need localized legal counsel, is exactly the experience we want hiring managers to have.

On the dislikes, we think there may be some confusion with another tool: the integration issues you describe don't match how our platform works. Candidate coordination and communication with your Revelo team typically happen directly through the platform and channels like Slack with your account team, rather than through the in-product integrations described. If you hit delays or friction anywhere in your workflow, we'd genuinely like to dig into it, because that's not the experience we want you to have.

Reach us anytime at hiredevs@revelo.com and we'll take a look together.

"Revelo Is The Perfect Platform To Manages Global Hiring and Compliance"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Revelo?

Revelo has saved us from a lot of administrative hassle for hiring global freelancers. The unified monthly hardware procurement system makes it so much easier. Instead of dealing with complex international shipping logistics, customs duties, and finding local tech vendors, I can order standardized preconfigured corporate laptops directly through the platform and have them delivered straight to the workers' homes. Revelo manages all the necessary hardware for the contract and ships it directly, so we don't have to manually manage it from our end. They made our initial rollout seamless by assigning a single point of contact who guided our HR team through local labor customs and expectations before our first hire. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Revelo?

I feel like the direct sourcing transparency is a bit restricted. The platform acts as a strict intermediary during the initial matching phase, which means I can't directly browse their entire database of engineers and independent contractors to look for niche skill sets. I have to rely entirely on their internal process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from The Team of Revelo

Thanks for taking the time to review us. Quickly backfilling developers mid-sprint and removing cross-border compliance headaches are two things we work hard at, so we're glad those landed.

One clarification for other readers, because hardware works a little differently than your review describes: Revelo doesn't sell or provision laptops through the platform. What we can do is help coordinate the logistics, shipping and setting up equipment that your company provides for your LatAm engineers, so your hardware gets where it needs to go without you managing international shipping yourself. It's a coordination service, not a procurement catalog.

And on sourcing visibility: your account team can give you more insight into the matching process than you might expect. Reach out at hiredevs@revelo.com and we'll show you.
