Speaker re-naming; if you accidentally delete a speaker, there is no easy way to reassign that speaker in the transcript unless you go through each "unspecified speaker" and label appropriately; which can be cumbersome depending on the speakers activity that was deleted. I’m a criminal defense attorney. Going through evidence is a big part of my job. When the DA provides me with Body Worn Camera footage from the police I can upload that into Rev and get a transcript in minutes. I can then have a conversation with Rev about the transcript. One of my favorite things about rev is that I can copy and paste vimeo links and then it autoMAGICALLY creates transcripts. I love the format options it gives them to me in, because other companies like Otter make them very difficult to read and digest. Rev makes it easy. The price is right for doing bulk work like transcribing entire courses and workshops. I’ve been using Rev and absolutely love how seamless it makes working with audio. The ability to upload recordings for transcription is quick and reliable, and the live recording feature is especially impressive, even at fast speaking speeds (if you're watching or listening to something at 1.5x speed), it captures words accurately and keeps up without missing a beat. While Rev excels in transcription speed and accuracy, I’m not as impressed with the built-in summarization feature. I often find the summaries lack the depth and structure I need, so I end up copying the raw transcripts into ChatGPT to generate more robust meeting notes in my preferred format. As a journalistic podcaster I really appreciate the new Rev Sites feature (Beta ) that helps me search multiple podcast interviews in search of specific testimonials that support the "storyline" of one of my episodes! It save a ton of time. Also, I'm so grateful for Isabella on the Rev Team who has met with me 2x to help me better utilize what Rev has to offer me and my organization when it comes to voice clips and podcasting. I wish I could upload articles, pdfs, and specific websites so I could also use this written content to search from within the new Rev Insights.
