Increases efficiency and helps use keywords to identify the right talent, especially with resumes. Other uses are parsing documents and having solutions like ChatGPT provide the right information to take decisions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Data privacy - especially since their servers are located offshore. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Simple & easy to use. No hassles in setting up & implementing API either Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing - it's almost perfect. Accuracy can be better for Indic languages. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I'd say it's the accuracy in comparison to other solutions in the martket. We saw an uplift in the % candidates who completed the application after implementing Affinda's resume parser tech. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing specific at the moment. I'd prefer if they also had an ATS offering in combination with the parser. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As IT HR company Proxify is processing 4-8K candidates monthly to hire around 100. Huge volume, which needs to be processed automatically with minimum human intervention. We devised our internal algorithm to auto-schedule and pick the best candidates. The algo used data from the application form (experience, skills, English...) and had an accuracy of 86%, leaving 14% of good candidates in the grey zone. We thought that adding a CV parser and an AI matching tool would bring much value to reduce grey zone even further. Therefore we started comparing different solutions available on the market (you can find them on the internet). We tested 3 of them on our own sample and came to a conclusion Affinda is the best by far in terms of quality:
1. Accuracy on a test sample of 25 senior software developer CVs turned 100%, compared to alternatives ranging between 66% and 86%
2. Pricing is acceptable, adapted to high-volume business needs
3. The approach is AI / ML-driven, implying the accuracy will not deteriorate with scaling
Highly recommend Affinda to all massive volume-driven HR businesses! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

When I compared the accuracy of the Affinda resume parser to 8 other resume parsers, Affinda was better than or equal to the others. But where Affinda really stood out head and shoulders above the others is in their level of support and attention to the customer.
Other vendors have a 'take it or leave it' attitude about their product. They didn't want feedback--or if they did, they didn't want it from a small company like mine. Affinda was just the opposite. When I had suggestions that they thought would improve their product overall and help their other customers as well, they were sometimes able to roll out new fields to production in as little as two weeks. If they thought my suggestion was specific my company's unique needs, they were willing to introduce custom XML/JSON tags to the API response. I've heard of that sort of thing happening elsewhere for strategic customers, but never for a customer as unimportant as me. But the Affinda team treated me like I was important. The other resume parsers I used to have a synchronous API. I submit a document for parsing; the API response is the XML/JSON for the structured data. Affinda uses an asynchronous model. I submit a document for parsing; the API response is the transaction ID for my request. Then I submit another API call with the transaction ID, where the response is the structured data.
I already had a production API client (developed to work with a different vendor). Initially I didn't like that I would need to change my client from the synchronous to asynchronous approach. But after I was done, I warmed up to that model.
An unexpected benefit is that I can keep submitting the same retrieval API call with the same transaction ID, and keep retrieving the same results. Of course that's not a use case for production. But in development, it's nice for debugging. I can test fixes without needing to resubmit the same resume each time and use up a parsing credit for each re-test. We began using Affinda's Resume Parser this Summer, and I am delighted with the results. The parsing accuracy is incredible. It works across multiple file formats and resume styles. The response time from the API is great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have not found any problems or areas that I dislike as of writing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We conducted a thorough search. The firm processes thousands of resumes a week and having an accurate resume parser helps the team save significant amounts of time in managing candidate data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
No complaints at the moment, we’re happy Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The service, without a doubt. We’re a large organisation with thousands of employees. I was chosen to manage this project despite having no technical background. I spoke to four of the different companies, trialed their tools, etc. In the end Affinda came out the winner because of responsiveness, flexibility, so when it came time to present the options to the Ops Manager, it was an easy choice. Affinda's resume parser performs better than other industry alternatives. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The parser takes roughly 3s to parse a resume, which is still fast in terms of industry standards Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Affinda has the best balanced offering that we could find Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We are very happy, but the only suggestion would be to improve the latency Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
