## Respondent Reviews
  ### 1. Get paid to complete research studies!

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christa G. | Business Line Project Management Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 15, 2021

**What do you like best about Respondent?**

Respondent is an easy way to view and sign up for studies via virtual or in your area. It's also a great way to make some extra cash. If you're acting as someone looking for responses it's also a great platform!

**What do you dislike about Respondent?**

It is sometimes hard to get chosen for studies. If the researcher makes a mistake and marks you as not attended, you will no longer get opportunities to participate. Even if you did participate in the study.

**Recommendations to others considering Respondent:**

It's a great platform, just beware of possible delays while using.

**What problems is Respondent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am learning as I complete studies and the benefits are an extra source of income.

**Reviewed by:** Aqsa O. | Librarian , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Respondent?**

I like the accessibility of seeing multiple different reviews. The interface is easy to use for all it doesn't make it hard to find surveys which is a big plus.

**What do you dislike about Respondent?**

Sometimes the recommended surveys have nothing to do with my interests, or it can be the case that you fill out a bunch of "apps" and get picked for nothing, making it a bit of time waste.

**What problems is Respondent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Respondent makes it easy to take surveys and for companies using it to find participants who will be the most helpful to the companies goals they have in mind for the research study

  ### 4. Great website !

It's worth trying

  ### 5. Project Management Classified

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Scott S. | Systems Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 26, 2021

**What do you like best about Respondent?**

I like respondent because they are very organized and straightforward in presenting the different projects and jobs to their participants.
And they deliver excellent content to all researchers. Content gotten from respondent is exceptionally good and worthwhile.
They use screeners, a unique added feature that makes sure one is truly qualified for a particular opportunity before you are connected to the company.

**What do you dislike about Respondent?**

What I dislike about respondent is the simple fact you can access projects publicly without upgrading to their paid system.
This may be part of their policy to guarantee quality, but it's still a very annoying aspect that discourages me from using their product.

**What problems is Respondent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am very impressed with the system because it helps me in getting a lot of work done by connecting me to qualified workers
I am very impressed with the quality of work and the payout system, which is very good and encouraging to both researchers and participants.
Over all their system has provided me with a lot of good contacts that I can use for future references should the occasion arise.

  ### 6. One of the best platforms to conduct your own as well as take part in other researches.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abhishek J. | Vice President (Media Relations Club), Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2021

**What do you like best about Respondent?**

Researchers get a an huge array of research and users as their respondents. Users get a incentivized payouts while researches and surveys are matched based on user's profile giving users a simple UI to work with. Integration with calendar is just a cherry on top of the cake.

**What do you dislike about Respondent?**

The majority of the surveys are technical knowledge based, and the profile rating/review system is only accessible to the researcher, not the participant.

**Recommendations to others considering Respondent:**

Users can participate and earn quite good amount for providing honest feedback. All the payments are made on time and via Paypal.

**What problems is Respondent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being a regular user of different research/survey platform, this platform provides video 1:1 facility which helps in overcoming the lack of personal touch and help analyze facial expressions of the respondent. Plus it pays well to the respondents to take part in certain researches. I used it on the behalf of my education institution to conduct surveys regarding various parameters such as students and teacher's satisfaction.

  ### 7. Respondent - A survey software

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 09, 2022

**What do you like best about Respondent?**

The best survey software, here you can easily share your knowledge and earn some pocket money. you can also interact with researchers from anywhere in this world

**What do you dislike about Respondent?**

I don't have any dislike for this survey platform. Very few projects are available.

**What problems is Respondent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am sharing my views about the specific tools to the persons in the area of interest available worldwide.

  ### 8. NIce way to access users but needs some improvement in their user experience

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 17, 2021

**What do you like best about Respondent?**

I like how easy it is to reach participants and post a project.

**What do you dislike about Respondent?**

There is a lot of room for improvement. There need to be more filters and ways to screen through participants who have applied to take part in the study. Currently, the given filters are not enough to meet all my needs. Also, the screener question formats are limited. What I really dislike is how the options for screening out previous participants is so limited. You can't screen out people who have participated in a particular project only those who have participated previously over a set period of time. Also, the system doesn't update in real-time, you constantly have to refresh or it out and go back in to see updates. Also, it is not set up to easily do survey studies.

**Recommendations to others considering Respondent:**

If you have primarily interview studies, this tool will work for you. If you have a quantitative study then it will require a bit more leg work to avoid confusion for your participants.

**What problems is Respondent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were able to access consumers for a project very quickly.

  ### 9. Air your opinions and get rewarded

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Writing and Editing | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 17, 2021

**What do you like best about Respondent?**

I find Respondent to be easily navigable and incredibly easy to use. I use it to complete surveys and sign up for interviews with companies. I have used other interview and survery websites, and I find Respondent is by far the best.

**What do you dislike about Respondent?**

I don't particularly appreciate that while the program DOES show you when you have received a message, it does not show you unless you get into the messenger. It doesn't show you that you have 25 new messages or something until you click on the message box. It would be nice to be notified as soon as you log onto the platform that you have unread messages.

**What problems is Respondent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use it to complete interviews and surveys. I have realized that it outpaces its competition.

  ### 11. I see a huge possibility to help lives through this site. Therefore, I highly recommend it.

Make sure to make your profile current and with your preferences in order to best tailor your jobs and surveys.

**What problems is Respondent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I like the incentivized jobs and surveying that can be done with this site. It really opens up opportunities to learn and give opinions.

  ### 15. Fast & Effecient For Creator AND End-users of this SUPERIOR SURVEY product.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Janna J. | Data Processing Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2021

**What do you like best about Respondent?**

Respondent was the easiest, fastest, most well-organized, intuitive, and most advanced tech-wise for this user's needs in the land of survey companies. The software and website are equally as easy for the survey creator to utilize and are effective from creation to data analytics when creating a tool for receiving data. End-users can expect an equally easy/effective app and website to enter their information via survey every time. They are also assured of their privacy rights and re-assured their private information will be protected by clear/easy to understand privacy information given on every survey interaction

**What do you dislike about Respondent?**

Respondent is a newer company and is still building it's reputation among internet users. A potential survey respondant may decline to help with it if they do not recognize the company/software/app/web site name hosting the survey thus hurting data outcomes.

**Recommendations to others considering Respondent:**

Google or Bing search for Respondant and look for it in the links of surveys listed on websites and in email.s

  ### 17. Quick DIY survey release & data gathering

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Murilo P. | Associate Scientist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2021

**What do you like best about Respondent?**

Respondent is very intuitive and easy to use since it provides question survey blocks ready to use. When you release the survey, gathering consumers is pretty fast despite the country you are investigating.

**What do you dislike about Respondent?**

Some countries are not supported despite still having consumers on their base. We do not have much support for the DIY tool - so we could be stuck in some functionalities trying to understand how to implement them.

**Recommendations to others considering Respondent:**

Respondent is usually cheaper than other digital research companies - however still able to provide good data quality.

**What problems is Respondent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are reaching consumer's from countries which we usually do not have consumer agencies classified for the job, with lower costs and gathering amazing products insights.

  ### 18. The best market to help others to review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Respondent?**

Is most helpful under pandemic to help the agency with their software and review the bug in application and make better for everyone around the world with free upgrade.

**What do you dislike about Respondent?**

Every single week I find another online job and respondent have the same opportunity for 3 months

**What problems is Respondent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I earn money per app review

  ### 19. Respondent - very good tool to use, even in countries not accepted by it

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2021

**What do you like best about Respondent?**

Respondent is pretty easy-to-use, friendly interface, and you pay only for the participants you actually were able to recruit.

**What do you dislike about Respondent?**

It's not available for some countries - you can get responses still, but much less than you would expect. Recruitment questions are so much simple and some logics are not present.

**What problems is Respondent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Low-cost recruitment for consumer research in Latin America.

  ### 20. Great website to earn extra money

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marcus H. | Assessor Administrativo, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 31, 2021

**What do you like best about Respondent?**

the site is beautiful and functional, researchers can register their research and the site can find people who match the profile.

**What do you dislike about Respondent?**

It is a little difficult to be called for the interview with the person in charge of the project, note: I live in Brazil and there is not much research available.
I never received an email about surveys compatible with my profile.

**Recommendations to others considering Respondent:**

Whether you are a researcher, or a user who wants to earn extra money, this site is great.

**What problems is Respondent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can make money by taking surveys.

  ### 21. Advanced & easy to use research tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Samantha S. | Data Scientist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2021

**What do you like best about Respondent?**

The ability to easily create research study screeners, find qualified candidates and pay them all in one platform makes this a valuable tool. The UI is intuitive to navigate, and even with narrow qualification parameters, I can find participants who are a match and engaging in interviews.

**What do you dislike about Respondent?**

There is nothing I dislike; however, I think there is an opportunity to enhance the tool for the researcher by building/enabling a scheduling feature. Currently, I have to direct message multiple qualified candidates to schedule an interview, so a scheduling tool that allows the candidates to pick the time that works best for them would be helpful.

**What problems is Respondent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For international studies, Respondent allows my team to find candiate and compensate them quickly. This process with a traditional research agency would take a much longer time and cost significantly more.

  ### 22. Pretty good!

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kolyo P. | Director, Client Delivery Operations , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 03, 2021

**What do you like best about Respondent?**

The concept and the application. Conducting primary research is essential and in today's digital age should be easy and accessible. Respondent.io achieve is to a good level.

**What do you dislike about Respondent?**

Sometimes screeners are too long and it feels like companies are already getting all the needed information during that phase.

**What problems is Respondent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Market research. Voice of the customer studies.

  ### 23. Effective tool for B2B recruiting and feedback

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Scott H. | Product Management, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2020

**What do you like best about Respondent?**

Responses come very quickly so recruiting can be conducted on short notice. Participants have very reliable attendance and have been engaged and motivated to share constructive feedback. I have had most success recruiting mid-level of seniority up to Director level.

**What do you dislike about Respondent?**

For some studies, I need a bigger pool of applicants to select from. If I am recruiting a handful of applicants for a longer interview and paying a higher incentive, I feel I should get more to select from vs the default of 2x the intended number of target participants. For early concepts, for example, I need to target innovators and it can be difficult to get the screener just right for that.

**What problems is Respondent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fast recruiting of B2B target customer profiles for feedback on product concepts and value propositions.

  ### 24. REspondent for Survey

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pawan Y. | Software Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2021

**What do you like best about Respondent?**

Recommendation and payment system is quite good

**What do you dislike about Respondent?**

Geo limitation which restricts user from different locations to fulfill the survye.

**What problems is Respondent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Taking surveys how our product is being used.Get to how what are limitations and what we can improve

  ### 25. Respondent just a waste of your precious time.

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zakaria M. | cloudworker, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 22, 2020

**What do you like best about Respondent?**

It has been three months ago since I joined Respondent I have done three sets of screeners a day and i have not been accepted to do any that i went for. Most of my projects are being cancelled and am not even sent an email or a notification to know about it and why it si cancelled.

**What do you dislike about Respondent?**

There projects are not consistently updated as projects as far as from 3 months ago are still on the website

**What problems is Respondent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This was suppose to be a very good marketing tool for survey

  ### 26. Great honest feedback quickly.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Railroad Manufacture | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2021

**What do you like best about Respondent?**

Panels and respondents are easy to find quickly. Obviously, the more you are willing to pay, the larger the pool.

**What do you dislike about Respondent?**

I don't like that the 5% comes out of the respondent's fee. The company is charged, as is the respondent. It seems they double dip there.

**What problems is Respondent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have solved the inability to locate quality people to provide feedback on our system.

  ### 27. Fantastic participants, easy to use.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthew G. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2020

**What do you like best about Respondent?**

Within minutes we had 100s of well qualified research participants. An incredible contrast to our home-grown efforts and recruitment efforts via other services. We also enjoyed 100% attendance. Not sure if that is typical, but that was great as well.

**What do you dislike about Respondent?**

We had so many respondents that when we sent messages we often fount multiple people with the same first name, last initial combo. That made it harder to be sure we were messaging the right person.

**What problems is Respondent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Finding well qualified research participants. They have a large, active, and diverse set of respondents.

  ### 28. Great tool for user recruitment

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Archana V. | User Researcher, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2021

**What do you like best about Respondent?**

Simple interface and panel management. Screeners are easy to create and manage. Customer support is very responsive and prompt to address issues.

**What do you dislike about Respondent?**

Difficult to recruit niche audiences like contractors and insurance adjusters.

**What problems is Respondent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using Respondent for user research (qualitative studies such as interviews).

  ### 29. an OK recruiting tool with poor scheduling & project setup UX

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2021

**What do you like best about Respondent?**

I get to review the participants before selecting them

**What do you dislike about Respondent?**

Bad UI for setting up projects -- lots of nooks and crannies and details you have to address. Poor scheduling experience -- just simplify scheduling. Let me create a project template and add variables that I can later input so I can reuse 80% of the test setup while still making sure to change the correct details (meeting room, availability, notifications, etc)

**Recommendations to others considering Respondent:**

consider alternatives

**What problems is Respondent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Faster access to relevant professionals

  ### 30. Helpful way to connect to surveys

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Market Research | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2021

**What do you like best about Respondent?**

I have been using this site to match with relevant market surveys and its easy to work with

**What do you dislike about Respondent?**

nothing I think it could maybe benefit from more filters

**What problems is Respondent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have not had any problems that I needed to solve

  ### 31. Fast and transparent way to recruit respondents

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Annie L. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 03, 2020

**What do you like best about Respondent?**

I love that we can "test the water" by releasing a screener for free to see if Respondent is a suitable platform for the target group we are looking for.

**What do you dislike about Respondent?**

There are some usability hiccups that can be improved. For example the NDA is very restricted, it would be great if Respondent have a feature that allow participants to "digital sign" the document. Other than that, some feature could be more "horizontal" and make it easier for me to orient across different participant projects that I opened for the same study.

**What problems is Respondent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fast and transparent recruitment. It allowed me to shorten recruitment time to one week instead of two weeks when I worked with external recruitment agencies.

  ### 32. Not efficient

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2021

**What do you like best about Respondent?**

I like to have many participants for the research

**What do you dislike about Respondent?**

It takes time to find participants who qualify

**What problems is Respondent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can fill up statistics and marketing data after making research with respondent. Respondent can provide efficient number of participants for my research and surveys.

  ### 33. Best tool to recruit respondents out there

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shannon H. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2020

**What do you like best about Respondent?**

I've been using Respondent for several years now to recruit for qualitative research. It is the best tool to quickly find quality respondents. It's easy to use and the Tech Team is always available to help. I highly recommend for anyone doing qual work.

**What do you dislike about Respondent?**

I don't like that you have to pay the full platform fee if you use a Respondent 2x. I completly understand the full 1/2 incentive fee for the first connect. But, I've met really good Respondents here that I'd like to talk to again in future work. As is I have to pay the full 1/2 incentive fee every time. That will add up. It would be nice to give Researchers some break on this. I also used to really dislike the calendar but they fixed it and now it's much easier. Thank you!

**Recommendations to others considering Respondent:**

It's great tool, go for it!

**What problems is Respondent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm recruiting respondents for qualitative research for large and small Clients. The benefits are access and speed.

  ### 34. simple and neat user experience research tool

I really like the user interface of Respondent. All features are extremely easy to figure out.

**What do you dislike about Respondent?**

It would be nice if there was a way to see if a respondent has read an invite that was sent to them.

**Recommendations to others considering Respondent:**

If you have questions, reach out to the Respondent Team! They are extremely helpful in answering questions.

**What problems is Respondent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have used Respondent to recruit for an online qual study. I am impressed with the quality of respondents I received!

  ### 36. Not your ordinary survey platform.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Richard Y. | CEO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2020

**What do you like best about Respondent?**

The platform is based around your personal knowledge and expertise. Additionally Respondent.io actually pays a reasonable amount for your time as opposed to other platforms where you process survey after survey for points toward a single $10 award. `

**What do you dislike about Respondent?**

It can take some time to qualify for a study, and when complete may take a week to get paid. But this is ok, as you actually DO get paid.

**Recommendations to others considering Respondent:**

This is an excellent platform full of useful studies and professionals

**What problems is Respondent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In my field of work, the studies I participate in; are closely related. and Respondent.io gives me opportunity to inspire change in the tools I use.

  ### 37. Quick, easy, expert, actually interesting and decent recompense (easy money, basically - why not?)

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Janie S. | Artist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2020

**What do you like best about Respondent?**

Efficient user experience. Very smooth from sign up to payment.

**What do you dislike about Respondent?**

I missed some notifications as they arrived by email - I expected to be able to log into a phone app and receive communication that way.

**What problems is Respondent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have a small amount of spare time, and using that to earn extra money is always a winner. Also I have found the process of answering questions on my decision-making process as a director, and other aspects of my business, really interesting, useful, and informative, giving insight into areas I haven't really ever queried.

  ### 38. Amazing tool for UX Research

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 18, 2020

**What do you like best about Respondent?**

Respondent's transcripts are extremely accurate, and the ability to edit a video through the transcript itself is game changing. It makes creating and sharing clips and highlights from user interviews much easier.

**What do you dislike about Respondent?**

Not as easy to use when analyzing recordings of unmoderated tests because the test is not split up by task and the video player is pretty bare bones (no ability to change speed or skip ahead back, and chrome extensions can be buggy).

**What problems is Respondent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Love that highlight reels automatically include captions, which you can manually edit.

  ### 39. The best way to earn money on internet

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jonathan A. | Analista de Assuntos Regulatórios com foco em DMF, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2020

**What do you like best about Respondent?**

The way researchers invite us to participate in surveys. Respondent is very easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Respondent?**

The limitation to participate in the surveys a day and the fact that I just can change my personal information once a month.

**What problems is Respondent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helped me to earn extra money during pandemic.

  ### 40. Best Survey Website

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin R. | Security Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 27, 2020

**What do you like best about Respondent?**

I like how they are straightforward if you pass the screening process and how much you will make and time to spend doing the survey.

**What do you dislike about Respondent?**

I dislike there not being more variety and available studies for the average person.

**Recommendations to others considering Respondent:**

Check website often for new surveys and refer friends for bonuses.

**What problems is Respondent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am able to have some extra income on the side for bills with respondent.

  ### 41. Great Platform to help participate in research study

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arun T. | Member of Technical Staff II, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 28, 2019

**What do you like best about Respondent?**

Helps us to connect with research groups in top organisations to have a look at their beta/ early stage products. Gives us the pleasure in helping create impact to products by sharing suggestions and interacting with quality researchers

**What do you dislike about Respondent?**

Nothing much as of now, been using from feb 2019. The previous interface was not mobile friendly and they have updated the interface which looks better on mobile.

**Recommendations to others considering Respondent:**

You might have to take multiple surveys to be selected to in some survey but you might be lucky enough to get within first few surveys but keep trying because it is worth the effort and you will end up being happy that you have contributed to research work.

**What problems is Respondent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I love to contribute to products and new things which will have impact on millions of people either directly or indirectly, I feel like I have contributed something for the research and my thoughts and ideas are taken into consideration for shaping products which is a great benefit apart from the compensation which is also worth it.

  ### 42. Easy to use, responsive panel, recent hike in price

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Danielle C. | User Experience Research Ops, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 14, 2019

**What do you like best about Respondent?**

This platform is pretty simple to use and our folks running research with non-customers report great things. We simply grant them access and they have typically been able to complete an entire recruit+study self-service. This makes my life easier, and keeps our customers "reserved" for the more specific research, and I haven't heard complaints about participant quality.

**What do you dislike about Respondent?**

The hike in fees per incentive has affected how much we're relying on external research and putting more burden on customer research. I would love a way to utilize the service for contacting our own customers, but there's PII risk and so can't take full advantage. Wish that the NDA was simpler - those running studies have told me they opt not to send one because of usability.

**What problems is Respondent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Running fast-turn around UXR studies with non-customers based on certain job criteria or attitudes. The ability to screen and qualify/disqualify people in an organized/timely way has taken a lot of friction out of the recruiting process when we don't need to talk to our specific customers but people similar to the population.

  ### 43. Very Useful All-In-One Tool for User Research

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jacque H. | User Experience, Internet, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 21, 2019

**What do you like best about Respondent?**

Respondent combines recruiting, screening and compensation all into one place and one billing system. Being able to place ads, then write a screener and review potential respondents and then finally make payment to participants all through one interface/company was truly liberating.

**What do you dislike about Respondent?**

At the time I was actively using Respondent, there were some minor inconveniences—or perhaps I should say "opportunities"—in the web interface. I know that the company has been continually working with the feedback they receive to make improvements. I bet many of my concerns have been addressed.
We had difficulty recruiting users in China; but company representatives warned me about that before I even started, so it is not really a knock against them!

**Recommendations to others considering Respondent:**

Take care to write a good screener, and don't be over-ambitious in trying to recruit too many kinds of user with a single screener. Better to start several "sub-projects" to get the right users—even though it can be a bit of a hassle to administer.

**What problems is Respondent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I completed a small international study interviewing people in six countries. To complete the recruit for this and organize compensation through one of the traditional recruiting firms would have been 1) very expensive and 2) taken weeks and weeks longer than my timeframe allowed. Respondent.io's use of digital tools and advertising networks dramatically shortened the time to acquisition of participants and literally made it possible for me to do this study.

  ### 44. Indispensable product!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew S. | Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 11, 2020

**What do you like best about Respondent?**

It's the only cost-effective tool I know that allows conducting customer development interviews on foreign markets. UX is good. Also, I like the fact that you can check respondents' social media accounts - sometimes it helps to choose the right one.

**What do you dislike about Respondent?**

The only thing I'm missing is an automatic refresh - so that wouldn't need to refresh the page every time to check if I have new respondents or new messages from them.

**What problems is Respondent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Customer development on foreign markets. Main benefits - saving time, great value for money, easy-to-use.

  ### 45. This is an amazing to make some extra cash by sharing your opinion!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chaz M. | Principal Talent Acquisition Partner, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 25, 2019

**What do you like best about Respondent?**

I totally love Respondent & since joining this week, I have already made $25 & have completed quite a few qualifying surveys & am looking forward to completing more! My hope is that this will be a regular revenue stream for me on a monthly basis!

**What do you dislike about Respondent?**

I can't think of a downside, other than being chosen for more surveys!

**What problems is Respondent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It would be nice to have the surveys that I have already applied for to disappear on my dashboard, as I am looking for more. I have clicked on the same survey, only to receive a message that I have already completed it. Perhaps, there is a way to make them disappear, after you apply.

Benefits- Making Money from My Opinion!!!

  ### 46. Easy to Use tool and an amazing time saver

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elizaveta V. | Product Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 22, 2019

**What do you like best about Respondent?**

When you create a test you can set up a series of qualifying questions that basically take the place of a screening survey. You can also set title description etc and then sit back and watch the participants pile up! It automatically separates the applicants that qualify for your survey based on your criteria and then you can choose which ones you want.
Also the calendar integration means no more long email chains going back and forth to find a time that works. It makes my life so much easier!
I can decide to do user testing on a Monday and have all my participants booked by Tuesday - AMAZING!

**What do you dislike about Respondent?**

If you're not careful about the setting you select for a Test participants can reschedule up to 30 min before a user test and they can schedule an interview up to 30 min before a time, so sometimes it can be a little hard to plan your day.

**What problems is Respondent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Respondent allows us to iterate quickly with design and get feedback from potential users. We use respondent, for all of our user testing now, and with the time it saves we have more time to work on other features!

  ### 47. Effective tool for online recruitment for wide range of studies.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Denzil J. | Consumer Research & Stories for Brands, Marketing and Advertising, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2019

**What do you like best about Respondent?**

I've been in this business for 25 years, and Respondent does make it easy to find qualified people for my qualitative work. The project management design works great for my needs, and the people I've met have pretty much been good quality.

**What do you dislike about Respondent?**

I have been looking lately for college-aged students, and while there are a lot of them, I feel like I see some of the same names repeatedly. Perhaps its because I put the survey out there, and my demo responds. Also, the system does tell me about past participation so I can easily avoid people I've met before. So its not actually a big complaint.

**What problems is Respondent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fast, easy, and cost-effective recruiting tool. In the old days, I'd write a screener, send a file to the recruiter, they they would use my screener to make phone calls to their data base. That process was slower, and much more expensive per project. I like that I"m a bit more hands-on with Respondent.

  ### 48. This is the BIGGEST paying company on the internet

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Valentin B. | Physics Tutor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 11, 2019

**What do you like best about Respondent?**

I found respondent some weeks ago, searching for earning opportunities on the internet. I registered at respondent, and after 2-3 weeks I started receiving qualifying surveys from them. You can immediately answer some qualifying surveys on registration, but the big paying opportunitoes come in 2-3 weeks. Important Companies pay 100-500 dollars to you for answering a 30 minutes -1 hour survey , that can be video recorded. You have to qualify for one of these surveys, but you are paid hundreds of dollars, if they consider that you can help them in their research. Please register at Respondent using my ref link https://app.respondent.io/r/valentinbogatu-5936362ab11d , I'll earn 20 dollars after you participate in one of their studies. I do recoomend you to try this company because I consider that it is the best earning comapny that I have found on the internet. They have many jobs, they are hirying and their website is simple, easy to use and to navigate. Every 3-6 weeks you will find 10 opportinuites to earn on 100-500 dollars for 1 hour of work.

**What do you dislike about Respondent?**

I do not dislike anything, they are the best paying company on the internet that i have found until now.

**Recommendations to others considering Respondent:**

After registering answer 1 or 2 screening surveys, then wait a little. They will send you earning opportunities after 2-3 weeks.

**What problems is Respondent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am helping other companies, with their needs. I am wating for the big dollars to come from helping these companies.

  ### 49. Legit but still has scammers

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Graphic Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 03, 2019

**What do you like best about Respondent?**

Very fast payout for eligible surveys. Easy to customize so only relevant surveys are offered.

**What do you dislike about Respondent?**

The pre-screening questionnaire for some supposedly vetted researchers seem to be the actual survey itself in disguise, in order for the researcher to receive answers without having to commit to a payout.

**What problems is Respondent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Great for quick cash. I apply to surveys in my spare time within a few minutes.

  ### 50. Appropriate Feedback at a fast response rate

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Siddhant D. | Graduate Assistant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 11, 2019

**What do you like best about Respondent?**

The variety of surveys available and the prompt replies given by the researchers.

**What do you dislike about Respondent?**

The payment processing time can be very long sometimes and it's necessary to occasionally remind for payment processing.

**What problems is Respondent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am providing valuable feedback for different companies who want to test their product. I have realized that talking to company employees also gives me good experience and helps them test their prototypes.
