Thanks for sharing your review of Resource Guru! I wanted to let you know that you can export your data by downloading detailed copies of your reports (https://help.resourceguruapp.com/en/articles/2942087-using-the-downloaded-reports), or by using our API (https://resourceguruapp.com/docs/api).

You can also use our API or Zapier integration (https://help.resourceguruapp.com/en/articles/2942116-using-the-resource-guru-zapier-app) to connect Resource Guru with the other tools you use to run your business. Timesheets are very firmly on our roadmap, but hopefully this option helps in the meantime.

Thanks for sharing your review of Resource Guru :)

Did you know that you can use the "Color by Booker" setting to highlight bookings made by you? You can learn more about using colors here: https://help.resourceguruapp.com/en/articles/2942102-using-colors. It's also worth mentioning that the font of bookings for which you are the booker will appear in bold to make it easier to pick out your own bookings on the schedule.

In addition, if you export copies of your reports (and you can do this for specific dates: https://help.resourceguruapp.com/en/articles/2942111-using-date-ranges-in-reports), you'll be able to use pivot tables to display the booker in order to quickly see the bookings you've made on each day that you're reporting on. You might find this walkthrough on using the downloaded reports useful: https://help.resourceguruapp.com/en/articles/2942087-using-the-downloaded-reports.

What do you like best about Resource Guru?

I like that it provides a snapshot of the kinds of things you're working on for the week. I like that, in the agency I work in, I can see who has booked my time in against a certain client or project and so I can go back to them if I have any issues. Equally, I have the opportunity to control my own workload and schedule my own time in also.

One thing I do like, is that the visualisation is simple enough so that you're able to collaborate amongst other teams, or decision-makers, to show where there are potential 'pain points' coming up, where there is a clash or something in the schedule. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Resource Guru?

I think the simplicity of it, can sometimes also be a negative. I think sometimes, if someone can see that you've got a block of time booked in, and nothing else, then it is assumed you're doing nothing. It then means that you have to book up your time to show that you are actually busy, and this can be quite a manual and labourious process. This might be more about the culture of how we use the tool, however, and not the tool itself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Resource Guru solving and how is that benefiting you?

I think it helps to reveal the potential points in the future. We tend to use RG to demonstrate our workload to others in the agency and use it alongside a more detailed gant chart to display key project milestones.

What do you like best about Resource Guru?

This system is so easy to set up and even easier to use. We use it to book courtesy vehicles for our four busy Service departments and it's proven a real game changer for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Nothing so far, it's fit for purpose. Hopefully in the future RG will have a shared calendar option, now that Outlook no longer offers that... Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

RG is an easy-to-use, no fuss programme that our users absolutely love. Change of process in a business is always difficult, but changing to RG was simple and buy in from our team was immediate - now they can't live without it! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Resource Guru solving and how is that benefiting you?

In the past we used Outlook calendar to manage our courtesy vehicle bookings and it was a nightmare with staff deleting and changing each other's bookings; with RG users can only manage their own bookings so no more double booking, deleting etc. We haven't had a single complaint or issue since we started using it.
