The options for coloring and the format of the software makes it incredibly easy to understand information at a single glance, with the option to learn more by clicking and expanding as needed. Additionally, there's a large variety of tags and filters that can be added and customized to fit any business model, such as sorting by skillset, project, site, date, pay period, type or scope of work, job title, or team. It's the only tool I have, when I'm assigned to a project, that I can use to see who else will be working with me, who has worked on this project in the past, how long the project has been ongoing, what the skills of my fellow team members are and what else they have worked on, how long I'll be on this specific project, and more, all within five minutes of opening Resource Guru. The filtering system could use a little work, as I cannot cross-filter different things without them being mutually exclusive (to my knowledge). If this is possible, it's not as readily apparent as it could be. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Easy to get a birds-eye view to see how the teams is managing projects, check who is handling too much, who is light on work and how forthcoming vacations mix in the monthly workload. I love the integration with Google Calendars and Outlook. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Resource Guru enables us to manage several portfolios of projects simultaneously. It provides clear visibility for projects and resources making it easy to plan and allocate resources across projects. Consultants are able to use Resource Guru with little to no formal training - it's very intuitive.
