Top Rated RescueTime Alternatives

I am a computer and mobile lover and use this device for 2 or 3 three hours of continuous use but with the help of Rescue Time I can track my time in every app and that also category what type of software I am using and set a target for a week. Every weekend I get a proper mail regarding how I utilized my time in the previous week and give tips for the next week. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think if you need to track all your device then please install your software on all your device other wise they don't give proper reports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

RescueTime runs in the background and automatically records the time I spend on numerous apps and websites, giving me a clear view of my daily behaviors. This helped me focus on what mattered and avoid distractions. The ability to create alarms when I spend too much time in non-productive activities has been a good reminder to stay focused. When I have multiple projects and tight deadlines, the Focus Time option helps me avoid distractions and focus on my vital work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I was uncomfortable with a program that recorded everything I did on my computer. It took me a while to adjust to this amount of tracking, although I know I have the confidence that only I have access to the data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It can silently and non–intrusively map everything I do on a daytoday basis, whether I'm checking emails, preparing content for my classes or doing academic reading. At the end of each day I receive a detailed report on my productivity; RescueTime also sends me a breakdown each weekend in my e–mail that shows my time use patterns and a visual summary with easy to interpret graphs and data. RescueTime shines in data collection and presentation but sorting and organizing activities within the application, especially when it comes to setting up my own labels, can take some time at first. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Rescue time has evolved a lot over the years. Along the way, their support and focus on making my workday more efficient have been consistent and outstanding. Lately, my favorite features are -
* New hosted Guided Focus Sessions
* Quick friendly Support
* Ease of use
* Helps block distractions on my laptop and mobile Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is not a lot that I disclike about Rescue Time. That said, some areas for improvement could be -
* Better analytics (the previous platform had more analytics which was better and more interesting but was sacrificed for more flexibility and self-accountability. So really, not all that bad.
* Would like to see better integration between the mobile app and the Windows app, for example, focus times could force the same Android actions automagically. May be a bit much to ask and probably violates 3,001 security protocals. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Years ago, in my search to improve my productivity, I came across RescueTime. At first, I just had to classify my activities and the sites I visited, and when I received my first monthly report, I loved discovering how I used my time. That's why, for me, the most valuable aspect of RescueTime is its reports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The interface has some aspects for improvement and it would also be great to have multiple languages available since the tool is only in English, and although it's not my case, many users will miss having the Spanish language available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I've been using Rescuetime for ten years now, and it has been an essential tool for tracking my productivity. The software itself doesn't really ask much from the user (save for the occasional maintenance of "uncategorized" apps and websites - especially if you're in the technology field). Otherwise, the reports have been satisfactory. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There haven't been much substantial product updates in the past few years, maybe by design. But I'd love to see more reports and faster loading times for longer time horizons. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have been using rescue time for more than six years, and it is a good companion for me to keep track of me. It has iPhone and Mac applications; installing them will give you an accurate picture of your time-spending habits. It tracks and categorises your browsing history and application usage time. You can observe your products and practices through the dashboard. It also has a focus session, which blocks distractive websites for some time.
Zapier integrations with RescueTime can do a lot of things too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It collects all the data and sends storage to its server. I often worry about the data privacy issues with this software, Have to evaluate the tradeoff. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
