"Turn PDFs Into Interactive Apps in Minutes—Inexpensive and Brilliant AI"
5/5
What do you like best about Replit?

I've been able to turn flat PDF premiums into interactive online apps in minutes leveraging my content with Claude.ai and Replit. It's incredibly inexpensive, works like a team mate, and the AI Intelligence is off the charts good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Replit?

The only thing I wish it would do is retain the option to refer previous app names to the newly chosen name if you update the name of your app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple Browser-Based Coding with AI Chat and Stable Small-Scale App Performance"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Replit?

The best thing I like about Replit is its browser-based development environment, where you have the simple AI chat option. You just need to write your prompt in simple human language, and it will work for you! The user interface is very simple for a non-tech guy as well. I created a simple application earlier where I integrated the payment flow using Stripe, and overall, the experience was good. Now, initially, I was using the free version, then the client purchased the paid version, where we have the options for multiple model selection, and if we use it for creating a small-scale application, it would be great. Overall, small-scale app performance was very stable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Replit?

When we’re trying to build a large-scale, enterprise-level application, it can feel stressful. Even when I’m working on a small feature, it sometimes ends up affecting other parts of the app unexpectedly, including functionality we didn’t intend to touch.

Another issue I’ve faced is that if there’s a heavy or overly long conversation, it can sometimes crash. When that happens, I have to wait for a while before things start working again. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fast, Growing App Builder with Helpful Preview, Hosting, and DNS"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Replit?

I like how well it performs and how quick the agents are with building apps, I also like how the product is growing and new mdoes are being added to improve development speed and make the app building process even easier. I appreciate the preview environmentand the hosting and DNS services that are provided with Replit plans. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Replit?

Sometimes the agent output is not the best and it is hard to specify certain tasks since the agent will get stuck, this slows down development time and I find errors in the app I need to fix later. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Rapid Prototyping Made Easy with Replit’s Intuitive Interface"
5/5
What do you like best about Replit?

What I like about Replit is how quickly I can move from an idea to a working prototype. Its interface is another reason I keep coming back—it feels intuitive and easy to work in.

Getting started was straightforward, and the documentation and templates made it simple to spin up a project without much friction.

I recently used Replit to develop an AI-powered meeting minutes (MOM) generator. It lets us upload a meeting recording and then generates a transcript in English and Japanese. It also produces a PDF/Word document with the meeting minutes. The built-in console was especially helpful when debugging API responses.

Overall, I had a good experience integrating AI with external services. For my MOM generator, I exposed the application as an API and connected it to Power Automate. While it’s not intended for very high workloads, it handled my demo scenarios well. I ended up with a working prototype much sooner than I would have with traditional setups, because instead of spending time setting up a local environment, I could focus on the application logic.Hence, the time savings easily justifies the cost. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Replit?

One limitation I ran into was debugging problems when several external services were involved. With the MOM generator I built, I couldn’t clearly tell where the issues were originating. As a result, I sometimes had to manually inspect the API requests to track down what was going wrong. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Facilitates Seamless Collaboration, But Needs Stable Connection"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Replit?

I find Replit incredibly easy for multiple users to work on the same project simultaneously. There's no need to manually upload files, as we can easily access them from the cloud, which is great because it allows switching devices effortlessly with just an internet connection. I also like that no hosting service is required, and it's simple to plug in all of the coding aspects. The platform supports teaching and collaborative learning, and the AI features are really useful for explaining functions, debugging code errors, and building applications with natural language prompts. The initial setup is straightforward with manual installation, and I don't have to worry about complex setups. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Replit?

Sometimes the performance is limited due to reliance on the Internet, which can be a problem in remote areas with unstable connections. Large scale or resource-intensive transactions might not perform efficiently. Advanced enterprise projects might require powerful dedicated infrastructure, which Replit doesn't easily support. "Effortless MVP Development, but Costly at Scale"
2.5/5
What do you like best about Replit?

I use Replit for SaaS development and appreciate that it helps me vibe code, especially when building MVPs for clients. I love how I can deploy web apps effortlessly using Replit hosting and easily get feedback. Replit Agents and the hosting infrastructure really stand out for me, making the whole process of building and deploying web apps simple. I don’t have to worry about setting up IDEs or local environments, and deploying is essentially one click. It's convenient and efficient for handling web app creation and hosting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Replit?

The agent hallucinates a lot and it consumes a lot of tokens/credits when the codebase gets bigger. Sometimes it goes on a loop in pursuit to fix a bug but ends up really expensive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Mobile App Prototyping and Deployment"
4/5
What do you like best about Replit?

I find the feature of connecting Replit with the App Store for mobile app prototyping truly amazing. It's something I don't get from any other prototyping platform. With Replit, I can develop web and mobile applications, and the process is seamless because the applet connects directly with the App Store. This allows me to develop prototypes and easily publish apps. Additionally, I appreciate that I can work on any feedback from the Apple review under one window and resubmit the application, which simplifies the overall process. Setting up Replit was also straightforward, making it even more valuable for my needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Replit?

I suggest Replit should consider adding features like security scans and good connectors similar to what other platforms like DoorDash offer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fast, Frictionless Browser Prototyping—Though Limited for Complex, Custom Setups"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Replit?

As a founder working in early-stage development, speed and accessibility matter more than heavy setup. Replit stands out because it removes the friction of environment configuration. I can start building, testing, and iterating directly in the browser without worrying about local dependencies.

The collaborative aspect is also valuable being able to share a working environment instantly makes it easier to validate ideas or work with others in real time. For quick prototyping and experimentation, it’s extremely efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Replit?

While it’s excellent for rapid development, it may not fully replace a local development setup for more complex or production-scale systems. Performance can vary depending on the workload, and deeper customization options are somewhat limited compared to traditional environments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Terrible app, waste of time, shady consumes credits. exhausts and asks you to buy $100 and more."
0/5
What do you like best about Replit?

I tried to build a basic app for dog boarding. Even after a week and spending over $60 could not even get basic functionalities in. It makes mistakes and charges credits. Then it says I am sorry I will fix it, but still charges credits. Before you know it credits already exhausted and then gives you option to upgrade to $100 and more. There is no small next pack to buy few more credits to complete the app. It is shady, greedy, useless, brainless app, someone created just to get free money while wasting user's time. I lost week's worth of time, trying to get basic functionality but it goes in circles for an hour then comes back not doing anything but charging credits saying I worked 1 hour or so and so... What do you dislike about Replit?

Shut this dumb app and stop messing with people's time and money. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great for quick prototyping, but reliability and support need improvement"
2.5/5
What do you like best about Replit?

Replit makes it extremely easy to start coding instantly without worrying about environment setup. The browser-based IDE, built-in deployment, and AI code generation features help speed up development significantly. It’s especially useful for quick prototyping, testing ideas, and building small to mid-scale projects efficiently.

The simplicity and accessibility of being able to code from anywhere is a big advantage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Replit?

One major issue I faced was reliability and lack of support during critical situations. While building a WhatsApp automation platform, my project unexpectedly disappeared, and I was unable to recover it.

I tried reaching out via email and even through LinkedIn, but did not receive timely or effective support. This forced me to rebuild the entire application from scratch, which was very frustrating and time-consuming.

Additionally, there is limited transparency around backups and recovery, which makes it risky for serious or production-level projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
