I like the UI of remote the most. Because I have seen various employee portal and it become confusing to find things in the portal. But with remote everything is easy to navigate from home page.
Next thing that I like most is timely processing of salary and reimbursements. In India, for my company they process salary ahead of month end and timet that makes me happy.

They should work on taxation part and also on the pricing. They should make their price competitive.

I enjoy that Remote offers a user friendly experience and it makes it very easy for any one to learn how to correctly utilize it when they need it. The platform is fast and I haven't experienced any crashes during the time that I have been using it. Every function available in the website has worked as it should, in regards to the payments and invoice creation, everything went smooth and it was correctly transacted. I have worked remotely for more than 3 years. In this time, I have worked for several companies with different payment options. I usually had to use intermediaries to receive payments to my Nigerian bank account. This comes with extra cost and exchange rate losses. Remote's integration with Stripe makes this process seamless. I have had a really great experience. If I would pick one thing I dislike it would be the processing time for first time receivers. I was worried about waiting between 7-14 days to receive my first payment. But fortunately this did not apply to my first payment. I believe this policy is a business necessity to counter fraud, but it can be a source of pain to the receiver. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Remote has been the first platform I used with my freelancing career. There are other payment platforms I used as well including those that are well-known but their conversion rates are not that friendly. I live in the Philippines and earning in USD, so those will need to be converted to Philippine peso. With Remote, I don't need to manually convert it and their rates are also good. It goes directly to my bank account. There was also a time where we have concerns, and we were able to connect with their support very easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

- The simplicity of the platform for me as a contractor to focus on.
- Only a couple of things I can do, but the truly ones I really need to get paid by my employer and both to keep in sync.
- I use it every single month just in a few clicks I get my job done.

- Not really big of a deal, but the schedule invoices does not fully work for me, since I need to add a dynamic note stating the dates range the invoice is for but I do not have a way to automate it becuase every month it should change and include something like "From May 26th to June 25th" and that is the only thing that changes every single month and because of that, I have to do it manually on every month.
- At least, I'd love to get a custom notification at a specific date to get a reminder to fill in my monthly invoice.
- As a workaround, I'd love to have a custom notification to ask me if I wan to change something before sending the upcoming scheduled invoce so that I can add the dynamic note manually at the right time for the upcoming invoce at least (but this still a manual process).

After using Remote for a couple of years, I can honestly say that it's an effective and easy to use tool to make my Employee of Record processe simple. I really appreciate the convenience of having everything centralized in one platform. With this remote tool, I can effortlessly manage various tasks such as viewing billing information and handling time-off requests. Additionally, it provides an easy way to check public holidays for different countries, which is incredibly useful. The chat feature is also quite impressive; it allows me to ask quick, simple questions and receive immediate responses. For more detailed inquiries, the team gets back to me promptly with thorough answers. This level of support and functionality makes the tool indispensable for remote work. I tutor with an online tutoring platform. We get paid twice a month and I get e-mails from Remote twice a month with the information. We are paid using Remote. Remote was super easy to set up and I've changed bank accounts once already with zero issues. Remote sends the money straight to the bank account of my choice. Every single time when I am supposed to be paid, it is there! It is always accurate and always quick. I love knowing that my money will be correct and be there when I am told it will be!
