What do you like best about Remote?

Remote enabled our organization to expand into India and Pakistan. We implemented the solution within a day or two. The platform allowed us to hire both employees and short term consultants. As questions arise, we consistently receive timely and quality support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Remote?

The software platform is not always intuitive but we consistently receive great customer service whenever needed.

We hire our team remotely throughout India and the Remote platform in India is based out of Delhi. Therefore the holidays on the Remote platform are only specific to Delhi. This requires us to track and maintain a comprehensive India holiday calendar outside of the Remote platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Remote solving and how is that benefiting you?

Consulté con Soporte sobre la posibilidad de agregar a mi familia al beneficio de salud ofrecido por Remote. Me indicaron que no es posible añadir familiares, ya que de manera predeterminada solo cubre al titular. Para incluir a mi familia, tendría que solicitar a mis superiores que cubran el costo adicional como un beneficio extra.

What do you like best about Remote?

Remote's user-friendly and feature-rich platform, as well as its expert support and flexible billing model, makes it stand out from other competitors. They also do not require a security deposit for each hire, which greatly benefits small companies with tight cash flow.

The platform is easy to use and enables HR administrators to manage their employees' contracts, benefits, paid time off, timesheets, etc., all online in a user-friendly manner. The platform is extremely easy to implement, and requires no technical experience - it works out of the box, and the fact that you can sign up and only pay fees once you hire employees, means you can fully test drive the platform without any commitment, in order to make an informed buying decision.

We use Remote's platform and services at least once a week, have had employees from 5 countries onboarded, and manage a variety of employment-related matters using the platform, including promotions, compensation package changes, and terminations.

The onboarding experience, as well as support requests experience, for employees and administrators, is exceptional. They are both knowledgeable and experienced, and all queries are typically resolved with limited back-and-forth needed. A dedicated account manager means you always have a single point of contact in the event of complicated or time-sensitive employment-related issues.

Remote also provides expert free consultation sessions, allowing clients to discuss scenarios associated with employment contracts, terminations, etc., and get expert input on local labor laws and practices prior to making important decisions. This helps HR and finance leaders plan for their payroll expenses and engage with employees in line with specific local labor laws in difficult situations such as performance issues or workforce reductions.

Their regular updates to clients regarding changes to labor legislation in their territories, and the fact that they take full ownership of implementing those changes to affected employees, means there is really nothing for administrators to do or keep track of with relation to labor law changes other than being informed of the actions taken by Remote.

Ultimately, they do exactly what you want from an EOR: They make it so that you are able to quickly hire talent in virtually any country while complying with local labor laws and practices and provide those employees with a professional and seamless payroll and benefits experience, with limited input and time required by the client. We spend virtually no time administering payroll for our offshore employees when compared to our local employees, which means our international expansion did not require any additional HR or finance resources. Remote makes it such that we're able to hire top international talent in any country, without the need for a local presence or knowledge of local labor and other applicable legislation. As a result, we can source the best talent globally, and provide them with an employment experience on par or better than local competitors. The entire HR and payroll administration function is outsourced to Remote, meaning the international expansion is possible without growing the HR or finance functions or adding more work for these functions.
