I was hired through Remote 3.5 years ago, and I like how easy their dashboard is to use. I can quickly find my paylists, submit expenses, and manage my work details. The onboarding process wasn’t very smooth in my case, though it’s hard to say if that was Remote’s fault or local bureaucracy. A few payment mistakes happened over the years, but they were fixed quickly after contacting support.

No phone call available. Email responses are very slow. Their blog or page about service are inaccurate. Agents are incomptent to deliver the answers to simple questions. Overpromised to complete the onboarding within 3-5 days. We are delayed 3 months behind their promice.
Most upsetting thing was to get an answer to confirm whether they will help for a certain thing, it took 3 weeks to say "no, unfortunately we don't provide the service and without it, we can't complete the onboarding." That should be a 5 min question.

The main area Remote solves is when free lancers and workers that provide services to international employers is being recognized by the ministry of labor here in the DR.

This is something that widely expands the options for those looking to work for companies that are not necesarily based on the DR but still have interest in workforce on it. Predatory methods of asking customers for reviews. They sent an email offering a gift card to complete a review. The only term listed was, "*Only first time users are eligible for the gift card." After I wrote a review, they sent an email saying, "Unfortunately, your review was not one of the first we received and is therefore not eligible for a gift card." When I open the remote software on my mobile it takes to long to open the home page (my invoices) I always have to close and reopen
