Any issue you have with your computer can be solved by your IT department by using Gotoassist. It cuts down wasted time by allowing someone to view your computer versus having to explain the issues. It's a fantastic little software! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about LogMeIn Rescue?

This product allows for for very easy and direct connection to users' devices to provide support and coaching as needed. The ease of connecting though really only pertains to Windows devices, as Apple devices require mulltiple edits by the user to allow for external access. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LogMeIn Rescue?

The only issue I have with the product pertains to issues connecting to non-Windows devices. When connecting to Apple products, the user is required to make a variety of system settings changes to allow technicians access, and to my knowledge, you cannot use this service to connect to Android devices due to the limitation on installing software on those devices. While this may more be an aspect of the hardware manufacturer, it would be nice to have LMI resolve these issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is LogMeIn Rescue solving and how is that benefiting you?

Typically the tool is used to connect with users that are using personal devices to access firm online services or just general users that have a hard time following verbal coaching, and one on one demonstration is required. The benefit is in the fact that a technician can connect to any device (Windows or iOS, unfortunately not Android) and effectively take over to troubleshoot/resolve the issue for the user. What do you like best about GoToMyPC?
