What do you like best about LogMeIn Resolve?

I like that i can utilize this service virtually as the whole platform is cloud-based so that I can quickly get responses from my IT support team. I also love the organization of it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LogMeIn Resolve?

I wouldn't say I like that this system isn't used by many people yet. In comparison to some products that are out on the market, I've never really heard an abundance of people talk about Go To Assyst Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is LogMeIn Resolve solving and how is that benefiting you?

The program / application helps assist me with resolving issues that usually takes a normal ticket system a few days. Instead of wasting time not being able to resolve my problem, I'm able to get an answer within an hour or less and continue working on my projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about LogMeIn Resolve?

Extremely easy to get connected to a remote PC and secure. Once connected I have full control of everything needed on that PC, I can even reboot the PC. If they have multiple screens I can slide from screen to screen with ease. If I need to communicate with the end-user I can use the chat option. I also like that I can pull someone else into the remote session, share the screen, so they can assist or see what is taking place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LogMeIn Resolve?

I'm not sure if this is an issue with GoTo or our own IT security, but our IT dept. does not allow end-users to install software and if working on a remote PC where something triggers what appears to be an "install", the security application pops up saying you do not have rights to install software and if you wish to continue you need a code - contact xyz dept. At this point, I lose control of the remote mouse in the GoToAssist session and have to either ask the end-user to kill that security screen or I have to restart the GTA session and hopefully, the end-user is still there to assist with reconnecting. Recommendations to others considering LogMeIn Resolve:

One last thing to mention, it is easy to admin and install. I can run reports to see usage and can even record sessions. The one weak area as admin, I wish I could run one report for all users that would provide the number of times they have used it in the last year. As it is now, I have to run a report for each individual user, hence, I run many reports as to one. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is LogMeIn Resolve solving and how is that benefiting you?

If I'm understanding this question correctly, GTA is used to remote into someone's PC and see firsthand what the problem is. As the old saying goes, a picture is worth a thousand words and seeing someone firsthand duplicate an issue saves us a ton of time. Mostly because many details do not get mentioned in an email or service ticket. Having the ability to control the remote PC allows us to test and troubleshoot, we also know where to go to view log files, settings, etc. which saves a ton of time from having to walk the end-user thru various clicks. We have been using GTA for about 10 or 12 years and have no complaints, no issues.

We also use GTA for unassisted remote sessions, we can remote into a PC or server at any given time to run various reports, check the status of something, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about LogMeIn Resolve?

The nicest part about GoToAssist would be that end customers may be emailed an invite URL or an assistance code, and they will be prompted to download the application on request. An application that is simple to use and enables the rapid and reliable initiation of numerous meetings, remote management, and file sharing. Great support is always sensitive to user needs, allows me to write notes while in the session, measure time invested, log my meeting, and export it for archival and training reasons, and is quite simple to start and deploy. What do you dislike about LogMeIn Resolve?

It demands strong internet connectivity to function correctly; connectivity issues can create lags in posting and sharing data, so we must have a quick and consistent connection. The customer must pay extra fees to use the phone app. Usually, after establishing a remote help connection, the support specialist loses track of the end mouse and user, and it takes a few presses in a specific pattern to regain control. It is a handy program with low pricing and a great utility that's also worth investigating. Controlling virtually is among the activities that we employ more frequently currently to assist customers, and I suggest the GotoAssist team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

GotoAssist enables me to see what my clients perceive, allowing me to provide better help. It also helps users by sharing displays and facilitating access to their computers, which makes providing help simpler. It enables us to virtually download apps and accurately assists our clients. What do you like best about LogMeIn Resolve?

The software lets users quickly download, install, or access the application via a browser window. In addition, it self-uninstalls, so it doesn't leave behind junk/garbage applications on the customer's machines after use unless they opt to go the product installed for reuse later.

The application intuitively allows any connected user to screen share and grant keyboard/mouse controls along with clipboard access to share files and content easily between devices (based on configuration settings). In addition, the higher subscription options can white-wash the share links. Hence, they appear to come from the company instead of an unknown product from the user's perspective, allowing for increased comfort. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LogMeIn Resolve?

There is no downside to using GoToResolve. If you have customers call that you need to remotely connect with to provide technical support to without physically being at their machine, then this is the best product for you to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about LogMeIn Pro?

What do you like best about GoToMyPC?

I have used GoToMyPC off and on for the past 14 years. I liked it so much that when I needed to once again have the ability to remote into my office computer I chose to go back to GoToMyPC. The best thing that I have noticed from when I first started using the program 14 years ago is the lag time. I can work from home and it is almost just like working directly from my office computer. Whereas 14 years ago there was a significant lag between the action I was making, and the action being produced on my office computer. What do you like best about LogMeIn Central?

With the LogMeIn Central product, I am able to centrally, no pun intended, monitor when machines are on, remote control the machines easily and quickly to provide excellent care of the users my organization supports, run intuitive reports to provide information I find valueable and many other tools that would make this far too long. What do you dislike about LogMeIn Central?

If there was a downside - I would say that the on-demand support is not as intuitive for the end-user as some of the other GoTo products are as some of the installers require elevated access which I would not provide to a standard employee or user. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering LogMeIn Central:

If you are looking for a product that covers all that a medium to enterprise needs for remote access and remote management solutions than LogMeIn Central is a great fit. On top of the mentioned uses there are endless lines of reporting, ability to adjust many settings on machines and do silent installs. Plenty of tools and a great prodcut at any price. Generally, I solve all issues for our fully remote staff that are happening on their machines. Often times these are less technical issues but do require a technical set of eyes and instructions that solve the users issues and get them back to working 100% which is the key factor for management teams.
