One downside is the lack of a local phone support option. While the support team is responsive via email and chat, having a direct phone line would make it easier to resolve urgent concerns more quickly and provide added reassurance when time-sensitive issues come up.

What I like best about RemoFirst is how seamless and reliable the global employment experience is. As an employee, the onboarding process was smooth, and all the necessary documentation, payroll, and compliance requirements were handled efficiently. It gives me confidence knowing that everything from salary payments to local labor compliance is managed professionally and on time.

I also appreciate the transparency and responsiveness of the support team. Having more self-service options, clearer guides for benefits, and more detailed payroll breakdowns within the platform would help employees better understand their compensation and employment details without needing to contact support.

RemoFirst solves the challenge of enabling companies to hire and manage employees globally without the complexity of setting up legal entities in each country. By acting as the Employer of Record, RemoFirst handles payroll, compliance with local labor laws, taxes, and employment documentation, which makes global employment much simpler for both companies and employees.

For me as an employee, this means I can work for an international company while still receiving compliant local employment support. My salary is processed reliably, statutory requirements are handled properly, and I have peace of mind knowing that my employment follows local regulations. It removes a lot of administrative burden and uncertainty, allowing me to focus more on my work instead of worrying about payroll or legal matters related to international employment.

**What do you like best about RemoFirst?**

The interactive UI of their portal and their resilience in providing a fast service. They have always complied with my requests and provide great PEO benefits.

**What do you dislike about RemoFirst?**

Some of the things to dislike are:
1. The file uploading system in the UI. It is not as intuitive and the organization system is not the best.

2. The support needs to do a better job of handling requests with their ground team and streamline this process rather than have a delay

**What problems is RemoFirst solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is solving my HR problems and entity-related issues. It is also solving my employee onboarding as they make it easy to set up a liaison for a company that doesn't have an official entity in the country.

What I like best about RemoFirst is how user-friendly and reliable the platform is. The dashboard is clean and easy to navigate, which makes managing multi-country payroll simple and stress-free. Implementation was smooth, and their customer support team is very responsive, friendly, and proactive. They consistently provide updates and improvements to the system, which shows they truly listen to their clients. The automation features also save us a lot of time and reduce manual errors.

Overall, our experience has been very positive. If I had to mention one area for improvement, it would be adding even more advanced reporting and customization options for payroll summaries. While the current features work well, having deeper analytics or more flexible export formats would make the platform even stronger. That said, the team is always open to feedback and continuously improving the system.

**What do you like best about RemoFirst?**

I appreciate RemoFirst's very responsive support, which makes it easy to make requests and ask questions since they typically reply very fast. I also enjoy having an employee dashboard/platform that includes everything I need like timesheets, reimbursement requests, time-off requests, important documents, and payslips. It gives me peace of mind seeing everything in one cohesive platform. The initial setup of RemoFirst was extremely easy, as we were able to set up everything live together with a representative.

**What do you dislike about RemoFirst?**

I think what could be improved would be the communication to employees regarding any changes. I recently had a misunderstanding where I was told that I did not require to submit timesheets if my employer doesn't require it, but then later on received an email reminding me to submit timesheets on time or else payment will be delayed. Thankfully, it was easy to reach support so I was able to clear up the misunderstanding, but I hope that in the future such changes be in an explicit email or newsletter or other notification.

I use RemoFirst to ensure I am protected by labor laws while working for a foreign employer. It handles local payroll and compliance, saving time and hassle. Having all necessary employee details in a single platform is comforting.

I like that I don't have to handle the documentation myself when being hired by a company from another country. RemoFirst takes care of everything so neither the company nor I have to worry about local laws. Their support is polite and helpful, and they answer fast, especially when I have questions about labor law or benefits. I also appreciate that when I asked for a document for my taxes, they took care of it. The initial setup was very easy; I just had to put my personal data in an account.

I feel there could be more explanation about the contract and how it works, although they do offer help if you ask.

What is most helpful about RemoFirst is how patient and helpful they are when first getting set up and how quick they are with resolving any issues we face.

**What do you dislike about RemoFirst?**

Some downsides were getting used to the currency difference for employees and figuring out how some payments need to be made but after any issues we had they were quick to get them resolved and show us how to avoid them in the future.

RemoFirst benefits our company with employees that are out of the country to make sure we are following their rules and regulations and helps us be the best employer we can be for our employees.

I like that RemoFirst allows me to work from Spain instead of having to be in Germany where the company is based. It solved the problem of not needing to look into self-employment in Spain and gave me the ability to work from anywhere in the world. I appreciate their professionalism and the speed at which they solve any inquiries I have. As a foreigner in a different country, I had difficulties navigating legislative requirements, and RemoFirst helped me out with that. The initial setup was pretty easy, considering the paperwork that comes with any new product.

I think they should have a tool for me to track my work time. Clock in - clock out feature.

I like RemoFirst for its easy web portal where I can easily change my personal and payment details, and get my paycheck and tax documents. I also appreciate the on-time payment, which makes it easy for me to maintain my financial affairs monthly, typically from the first of the month. Additionally, I value the extended support they provide. The initial setup with RemoFirst was much easier than I expected.

**What do you dislike about RemoFirst?**

I'm not sure exactly where the problem is happening, but recently the issues with calculating and fulfilling TDS have been messy with RemoFirst. I think this might be due to their local agencies here. Specifically, we've requested several times that our local financial year runs from July 1 to June 30, and they should ask for any 'investment for rebate' documents after June ends. But they keep requesting this before May end.

I like that RemoFirst allows me to work for my previous company from abroad, specifically from my Country of Origin, which helps me stay close to my family while continuing my work. It's easy to use with no cons I can think of. The initial setup was very easy on my side; I just had to review some documents and provide a few myself for them to review. I'm happy with the convenience it provides, and in some countries, there are incentives on salary taxes for workers moving there, which could be an additional reason to use RemoFirst.

Since RemoFirst is the EOR, when it comes to signing and agreeing on contracts, it needs approvals and signing on multiple ends, which can take some time, but within reason in my case.

The web portal is a definite advantage, as it streamlines both the onboarding process and account management—features that my previous provider lacked. Having a dedicated hiring manager and customer success manager is another benefit. I also appreciate the prompt responses to emails.

**What do you dislike about RemoFirst?**

Before joining RemoFirst, I explored the platform from the perspective of a potential employee rather than an employer. I ran into some challenges during the initial contact process, as I was required to complete an online form and set up a meeting intended for prospective employers. It was only after I clarified in the meeting details that I was attending as an EOR employee, not as an employer, and that I was interested in learning more about the RemoFirst platform, that I was redirected appropriately via email.

I am employed by an Irish company while working fully remotely from Poland, and I am able to make pension contributions in Poland.

The invoicing process is easy, and the invoices are sent out on time and received on time each month.

**What do you dislike about RemoFirst?**

I keep receiving immediate emails from Finance saying that payment hasn’t been made, even though bank wire transfers can take 2–3 days to process. That timing is outside of our control, so these messages feel premature given the normal transfer considerations.

**What problems is RemoFirst solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Payroll processing and local taxes are handled accurately for each country and region, so we don’t have to worry about compliance.

Nothing so far! Everything has been pretty good.

RemoFirst is helping us with EOR services currently and they are doing a way better job than our last EOR. We switched in 2026 after a year with another EOR company because the last one had a ton of hidden fees and zero customer service. We haven't had any issues at all with RemoFirst so far and are very happy with the move.

I really appreciate the competitive pricing, which helps us manage our budget and allocate more to hiring the right talent and expanding our team. I would prefer to have auto debit or for them to accept card payments. It's currently not an option for Singapore.

What I like best about remote-first models is the focus on trust and autonomy. Employees are typically given more freedom to manage their time, which can lead to higher job satisfaction and productivity. Plus, it can be more sustainable, especially for companies that operate across different time zones or have a global workforce.

As of now I have not  encounter any issue using the platform is easy of use.

RemoFirst is solving problems like:

Global Hiring & Compliance – It helps companies hire people from anywhere without worrying about the legal and tax details.

Payroll Management – Ensures employees get paid correctly, no matter where they are.

Building Remote Culture – It helps companies maintain a strong, connected culture even when everyone is working from different locations.

For me, as an employee , it means less hassle with international rules, easier pay management, and a better remote work experience.

**What do you like best about RemoFirst?**

It is relatively easy to set up, and onboarding is great. The automated platform works well too and it does what it says it will.

**What do you dislike about RemoFirst?**

The team at RemoFirst is great, but they seem to work in silos and with a bit of a lack of communication between departments, which makes it a bit difficult to process things in a timely manner. Finance follow-ups after invoice sending were immediate, while resolutions to issues or misunderstandings were less fast. For instance, I received an invoice the first time and within less than 24 hours I had a finance person demanding payment of a 'late invoice' when the deadline was still days away. This has now gotten much better because the system is automated, but this was the first impression after onboarding. I am overall happy but would caution against these practices and reviewing isolation in the different departments when it comes to a single client as this can create a really unsatisfactory experience, specially because I am assuming [I might be wrong] a good bulk of your customers will be startups, or SMEs who will find it more cost effective to hire your services than setting up an office for just one or two employees in a different country. These small companies are often constrained in terms of their human and time resources which means, backlog or dealing with the same issue over a period of time is not only simply frustrating but can lead to losses.

The Remofirst platform/employee website is intuitive and has all the relevant information I need. I like that processes in RemoFirst go smoothly. Asynchronous emails that allow you to communicate in your own time is very important to avoid burnout for people in different timezones.

I have encountered no problems so far. Whenever I have a concern, they were answered when I email and the responses were quick and helpful.

It is the Employer of Record (EOR) for an international company that hired me. Best benefit is that it allows me to legally transact or be employed by the company as I am in my country. I also like how the onboarding process went. It was quick and smooth. The FAQs in the website were useful too. The email responses were prompt and timely. They were very helpful.

I found the initial setup of RemoFirst to be quite easy.

I'm quite dissatisfied with their service. They assured me during the sales process that the visa and hiring could be done in 2 to 3 weeks, but it ended up taking 4 months. During this time, I experienced poor service, like being asked for documents multiple times, and there was low visibility on the overall process and steps. The customer support was very poor.

It’s not really helpful. It was never able to verify my ID—my driver’s license, which is considered a valid government ID. RemoFirst says they can’t see my face, so the verification just doesn’t go through.

**What do you like best about RemoFirst?**

Design: The design is very simple. Its all plain white which gives a very clean look. There are few main tabs and its easy to find the informations you need like profile, time-off, expenses, payslips, documents uploaded and contract agreements.

Process: Its easy to file leaves and get approved and you can see the status as well in the portal. You will be notified via email that your leave request has been approved. 

Security:  There is an option to enroll your account to MFA(Multi-factor Authentication) which adds additional level of security aside from your personalized password.

Support: Whenever I have questions, I contact the support team to raise my concerns. They do reply within the day or sometimes, faster. My concerns were addressed properly, and additional informations were given to me to help me understand the resolution they made. With all the concerns I raised, I would say, their CS is doing great a job!

**What do you dislike about RemoFirst?**

I just find it confusing that the leave is accumulating until the end of the year which means, there were decimals in the platform as days go by. It will be easier and if there where few columns showing only the Carryover, Annual entitlement, Used and Left  balance. The Accrued and Ad hoc adjustment seems confusing. I recently asked an adjustment on my leaves because I'm seeing incorrect numbers and the ad-hoc adjustment is still zero is it is not used at all. Overall, the platform is user-friendly. Thank you!

I just wish that the company who serve RemoFirst with background checks (Veremark)  could be more responsive. I had already provided my documents via email to Veremark because I couldn’t upload them through the portal, but I was later asked again to upload them there. It was simple to set up out RemoFirst account. I was assigned someone to guide me through the process and I could call them with any questions. The coordination with our finance department was easy to set up and has worked well. The website is easy and intuitive to use and I can make multiple changes in very few steps. The cost is reasonable as well. Finally, when I do have an issue, the customer service has been helpful and friendly.

We aren't an international company, but we found a candidate who we felt would be an excellent hire who resided outside of the United States, our home country. RemoFirst allowed us to hire the best talent for our role without having to worry about employment issues, from taxes, to benefits, to employment laws and regulations.

I work remotely and have been using RemoFirst in my present organization. I am a very frequent user. The application is easy to understand and a number of useful features. They have a help center for FAQ which is very helpful. 
The onboarding process was smooth and easy. I was able to upload/ view all my required documents. The customer support is helpful. They do reply promptly, they also have been providing regular support for queries. Salary is processed correctly with no mistakes neither  has there been any delay. Salary is always on time.

**What do you dislike about RemoFirst?**

The Customer Support is only available via email. There should be phone support as well. Also customer support does not work on weekends. At least a half day on weekends should be happening. 
Expense reimbursements aside from the salary have a strict cutoff for the 3rd of every month. This becomes a tad difficult especially when the expense is a large amount. Ex an expense approved even on 7th of any month is not added to the payroll of that month but rather the next month. The Payroll cutoff should be later than the 3rd of the month.

I work remotely and RemoFirst enables my American employers to pay me in my own currency. I am also employed under the labor laws of my country this is good for tax and compliance purposes.

I appreciate that RemoFirst handles all the bureaucratic mediation with my client, being an excellent tool that centralizes contracts, payment information, agreements, and time off. RemoFirst's support makes a huge difference with super fast and effective problem resolution. I especially like the contract signing and account setup part; these features give me a great sense of security because they work exceptionally well and are easy to use. The contract signing experience is much better than on other platforms, with an integration that operates perfectly. The onboarding system was extremely simple and efficient, making the initial setup uncomplicated.

**What do you dislike about RemoFirst?**

The FAQ has little information about the contractor modality and I had difficulties identifying how to update my banking information. To change the receiving account country, I had to contact support, which I believe could be resolved through the interface that we, contractors, have access to. If we had access to the same interface elements that EOR employees have, it would be easier to operate without requesting support.

RemoFirst resolves all the bureaucracy with my client, centralizing contracts and payments. The support is fast and effective. The signing of contracts and account setup are secure and simple, facilitating the onboarding process and ensuring the receipt of my salary.

Very easy service, after accepting a job in a startup setting a new base in the UK I was asked to use the service. Introduction emails and initial signup was extremely easy with all required documents uploaded onto thier platform and contract sent all in one place. Carol who was my assigned contact was quick to reply and get eveything sorted and set up. Good to have a easy UK representative when starting in a overseas company.

Not the easiest to find out how to log back on as a user without following the link in the original email. Would be nice to have a heads up from RemoFirst about who the ID verification will be from as I had to check that they were not phising when I got a test message from the company.

I like that everything is clear and well laid out, making all the information accessible. The feature that handles expenses is a very useful add-on, allowing me to submit and track expenses separately, especially when a client needs to pay for trips or tools.

I don't find any use for the homepage/dashboard. I never stay on it - always go to check invoices if necessary, so the dashboard provides pretty redundant information for me, and it's an additional time to see what I need. Also, I am desperate for a mobile-friendly version - it really sucks not to have access to it from my phone.  When onboarding Contract editing was a bit rigid.

I think RemoFirst should have their own local entity rather than using other companies. Like Remote.com has Remote Finland Oy. Example. Although Remofirst has partner companies but the partner companies in my opinion should have the full base in Finland like the VAT and trade registration that makes the partner more solid and reliable.

Currently dealing with job contract I have some question and we are resolving those.

I like the fast client support and the user-friendly portal that makes it easy to access payslips and raise reimbursement and leave requests. I also appreciate the wide global coverage, which is important for my company.

It would be great to add the functionality to request and receive any documents through the portal, rather than email. Also, the current date when changes to apply for the current month's payroll is set is too early.

What I appreciate most about RemoFirst is how effortlessly it simplifies global hiring and compliance. The platform feels purpose-built for speed, onboarding, contract setup, and payroll management are all extremely smooth and intuitive. Their support team is another standout. Any time I’ve needed clarification on local regulations or employment guidelines, their responses have been fast, clear, and genuinely helpful.

Overall, RemoFirst takes away the usual operational stress of managing international talent so I can focus more on the actual work rather than administrative hurdles.

**What do you dislike about RemoFirst?**

There isn’t anything fundamentally negative, but there are a few areas where RemoFirst could improve. At times, the dashboard can feel a bit limited when trying to view deeper analytics or export more customized reports. I’ve also noticed that certain region-specific onboarding steps could be streamlined further to make the process even faster. These aren’t deal-breakers, but enhancements here would make the overall experience even smoother.

RemoFirst removes the biggest barriers in hiring and managing global talent, compliance, payroll, and cross-country employment rules. Instead of dealing with complex legal requirements or coordinating with multiple local vendors, everything is handled in one place.

This has helped me save a significant amount of time on administrative tasks and reduce the risk of compliance issues. It also makes scaling teams across different countries much easier, because I can onboard talent quickly without worrying about local regulations or paperwork. Overall, it lets me focus more on productivity and project delivery rather than operational overhead.
