Relay.app has a very intuitive UI and lots of integrations with 3rd party apps. It's very easy to connect your email or social media accounts and build automations on top of them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
UI a bit glitchy with Safari, I have to use Chrome on my MacBook. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I've used Relay to automate my prospect tracking and outbounding process and it's streamlined everything! It's way easier to use than Zapier so I was able to quickly build my playbook and get going. The AI features are built in, so I can embed generative AI directly into my workflows rather than going to an external application. Lastly, I'm always able to have a human in the loop for my important steps so that I can review and sign off on things before they go out. I can't recommend Relay highly enough for workflow automation! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I'm still figuring out how to use some of the more advanced features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As a non-developer, I sometimes get stuck while setting up complex workflows. I usually search for answers online and spend days trying to figure out a solution to my problem. I did the same thing with Relay.app at first, but eventually, I decided to ask for help, and now I regret not doing it sooner. They would have saved me at least four days of struggle. Their customer support truly goes above and beyond, and you will feel heard. Also important, I received that help even while on the free plan, and later decided to upgrade. As for the functionalities and ease of use, I am still testing it, but so far, my experience has been better than with Zapier or Make, which I used in the past. Would be nice to have a community forum as I usually find some answers to my questions in similar forums. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love the simplicity of Relay.app's UI.
It is (in my opinion) the best automation tool for users who don't have a whole lot of technical knowledge with such things.
Zapier has long been the go-to platform for building automation workflows due to its ease of use and extensive app integrations. However, Relay.app is stepping up and doing it better by offering more flexibility and customisation options, along with a better and more intuitive interface.
Plus! Its pricing model blows the comp out of the water.
While other automation tools offer a free plan—we all know it really isn't possible to build out workflows without paying a price tag.
Relay.app differs completely. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Hidden features and functionality.
The platform has plenty of tricks up its sleeve.
However, it isn't always obivous how to achieve something complex.
Like with any software there is some level of learning to understand how the platform operates and the documentation isn't always clear.
But for such a young platform—we can't expect their help resources to be the best in the bizz. YET. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

When I was first pitched Relay I was doubtful how much better this could actually be than other tools like Zapier. I've not only been blown away by the velocity of feature expansion that the Relay team has implemented, but also by how attentive their team is in working with us and helping us expand the use of the product within the rest of the company beyond just a few power users. It has some integrations that we'd like to have, but every time I find a product we're interested in setting up, I see the Relay team paying attention to add it to their roadmap. They move super fast and work with their customers to get those integrations running as soon as they can. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Relay is the perfect business automation platform to add to your tech stack. Relay is great for enterprises who want to remain agile enough to quickly experiment and test new ideas without needing a large engineering effort.
The interface is simple and intuitive, making it enjoyable to build out workflows. Relay gives your technical marketers a platform to efficiently integrate tools across your tech stack in a simple and organized way.
Customer service is top-notch, quickly responding and solving issues as they arise.
Relay has been releasing new features & integrations at a high-velocity and have been highly responsive to new integration requests. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Like with any software there is some level of learning curve to overcome to familiarize with how the platform operates.
Depending on the complexity of the workflow you are creating, it may require a technical marketer or engineer to polish up. Your average marketer can likely setup simple automations with the pre-built connections but it may require a more technical marekter or potentially an engineer depending on complexity. I've been using the Relay app for a while now, and I must say, it is incredibly simple and user-friendly. You don't need to be tech-savvy to figure it out, which makes it accessible to everyone. One of the standout features is the human-in-the-loop element, which is crucial for ensuring accuracy and reliability.
What truly sets Relay apart is their customer support. It's some of the best I have ever experienced. They are lightning fast, super responsive, and consistently go above and beyond to tackle tricky integrations. Their team listens to customer feedback excessively and implements changes that truly enhance the user experience.
Relay has become an indispensable tool for us, thanks to its simplicity and exceptional support team. Highly recommended! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing I dislike so far, the team are always able to build out the integrations you request. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Relay has allowed us to set up complex and detailed automations linking a variety of different platforms. The 'decision path' and 'human in the loop' features really set Relay apart and have allowed us to automate whilst retaining flexibility in any process which requires it.
Platforms are incredibly easy to connect and integrate - workflows can be built in seconds with a very straightforward visualisation of the path being created.
But my most positive piece of feedback is from Relay's customer support team. Whilst I've only had a couple of times where I've needed some help, they have been incredibly quick to respond and have been fantastic in supporting and coaching me to achieve success - they are willing to share their expertise with new users to help them get up and running or to unblock issues or bugs. Very little. Relay was the first platform we used in this category so I don't have much to compare it with (Zapier, Make etc) - but that's because Relay met all of our needs without having to look elsewhere. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Relay app simplifies the workflow-building process by eliminating unnecessary intermediary steps. It has a strong understanding of data types and reshapes data automatically, so I don’t need to write scripts for every process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Relay lacks enough integrations for common systems, which limits its use across a broader range of tools. Additionally, there's no credentials or secrets management, which is essential when building reusable custom steps. Finally, there isn’t a one-click share option for workflows, which makes it difficult to reuse templates across projects or monetize templates as digital products. For someone with limited coding/tech experience, the navigation and interface is very easy to learn and pick up. The support community is thriving and questions are answered promptly with great direction/support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Accounting for AI credits is a bit unclear and you can blow through your balance in a pinch while creating/testing your automations. Would love to see more creative examples of how others are using the product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
