Companies like Accenture, Paychex, Honeywell, and many more have deployed Rehearsal utilizing the platform’s adaptive learning and AI capabilities. With over 100,000 users around the world, we help organizations develop skills that increase sales. Simply record a video scenario, invite others to respond to it using their webcam or mobile device, and instantly learn how others think --- their choice of words, body language, and readiness when faced with real-life situations, challenges, or questions. Then evaluate submissions and respond via video, continuing the dialog until skills are mastered.

## Rehearsal Reviews
  ### 1. Very helpful and innovative

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Luigi M. | Senior Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 29, 2021

**What do you like best about Rehearsal?**

The idea of making asynchronous roleplay in a very easy way. The software is very user-friendly and complete

**What do you dislike about Rehearsal?**

Nothing. The only complaint is the time you have to way to upload some videos, but maybe it is more related to internet connection speed

**Recommendations to others considering Rehearsal:**

It's a real game-changer in the training industry and is very easy to use. What else?

**What problems is Rehearsal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I sole the problem of creating and handle real-time role play (with all the calendar conflicts and so on). You can train and practice with people in an asynchronous way. Gret!

  ### 2. Amazing tool for sales enablement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katie P. | E-Learning Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2021

**What do you like best about Rehearsal?**

Rehearsal gives our sales reps the ability to practice their messaging in a safe environment. Their managers can give them feedback to help improve how they present to customers. The reporting tools allow us to see not only that the reps have completed their assigned role plays, but what type of feedback the managers are leaving. Since we want this to be a learning tool, senior leaders can coach managers on their feedback as well. The visibility allowed by the system is a win-win for the entire organization.

**What do you dislike about Rehearsal?**

Honestly, the Rehearsal dev team is so responsive, that any system issues are generally resolved very quickly. Our main struggle is an internal one, with our teams sometimes having difficulty coming up with content to send out to the field. The system improvements made over the last year have taken the platform to the next level.

**Recommendations to others considering Rehearsal:**

You will not find a better video role play platform than Rehearsal. It is absolutely worth the cost. We have been customers for over five years, and have every intention of remaining so for the forseeable future. Their support is unparalleled, and has honestly spoiled us for other vendors because our expectations are now so high.

**What problems is Rehearsal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prior to implementing Rehearsal, we were only able to do to role plays twice a year, at our bi-annual sales meetings. Rehearsal has allowed us to assign role plays more frequently, so reps have the opportunity to practice much more often. The visibility to what the reps are saying has been a huge help in knowing where our training is working and in what areas we still need to focus.

  ### 3. Rehearsal Usage

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Todd S. | Manager Practice Management & Development, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 04, 2020

**What do you like best about Rehearsal?**

The platform is great. I had one student tell me he roleplayed a certain scenario 20 times because he kept watching himself and didn't like it. You just don't get that in a classroom. I have received quite a few comments just like that. We have ended up using it a lot more for home office training as opposed to our field sales force as well. With all of the work from home we have been forced into, this has become a go to tool for on-boarding home office people which we didn't plan on when we purchased the tool. The support from Rehearsal has been awesome as well. Very professional documents and help in getting us off to a great start.

**What do you dislike about Rehearsal?**

Nothing to do with the platform but it is getting the mentors to do their part of the process can be challenging. I do wish it was cheaper per seat.

**Recommendations to others considering Rehearsal:**

It has been better than I actually expected. Wasn't sure the students would really get into the role playing like they said they would. The most difficult part has been to get the mentors to leave meaningful feedback and to actually grade the student. Meaningful feedback is more than just saying great job. We actually found the students wanted to be critiqued so they could get better. It really all hinges on the mentors and getting their buy in and why it is important for them to do their part.

**What problems is Rehearsal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Home office on-boarding virtually, increasing our sales teams skills. It has really upgraded our virtual training courses by giving this role play options between classes. We use it as a student introduction to all other student joining virtually that saves us from having to do it live during the training event.

  ### 4. Excellent tool for coaching sales skills and sharing best practice

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sonalin P. | Global Head of Project Management Office, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 22, 2020

**What do you like best about Rehearsal?**

The ability to practice/perfect your pitch and receive feedback from coaches via the platform is excellent. The platform is intuitive and accessible globally. Further to that, we have received excellent support from the Rehearsal team who are responsive and wonderful to work with.

**What do you dislike about Rehearsal?**

There are some product improvements that would be useful. Ability to pause and continue the video recording so candidates can submit in iterations. Ability to save drafts of the rehearsals and submit the best version.

**What problems is Rehearsal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have used the platform to help develop the virtual relationship management skills of Relationship Managers, ensuring clients have continued to receive great advice and superior engagement throughout the current crisis.

  ### 5. Very good support for the daily work in teams

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hendrik D. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 25, 2020

**What do you like best about Rehearsal?**

We use Rehearsal for the induction and training of our new employees. The trainers use Rehearsal as a support to practice conversations

**What do you dislike about Rehearsal?**

Since Rehearsal is constantly being developed we are very satisfied with the current status

**What problems is Rehearsal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

as written above, our trainers use Rehearsal especially for sales talks. These are discussed in a personal meeting and are then to be practiced by the new employees until the next face-to-face training. Until now, the trainer had no control over whether the new employee actively practiced. This is now different with Rehearsal

  ### 6. Rehearsal Review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Pharmaceuticals | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 08, 2020

**What do you like best about Rehearsal?**

The platform helps our new reps practice verbalizing their message, and it also allows for remote coaching.

**What do you dislike about Rehearsal?**

Some of the functionality, like all platforms, takes some time and practice to develop comfort.

**Recommendations to others considering Rehearsal:**

As an organization, we have benefited from utilizing the platform. Originally, we planned on using the platform strictly for new hire training for recording role plays and certification and then uploading them so that the managers could view them immediately and provide feedback to their reps. That process worked well, but it also gave us opportunity to identify any potential challenges, one of which was ensuring a strong internet connection when uploading 15 minute videos. We also found that if the ipads, where we recorded the videos, went into sleep mode while uploading the videos, the upload process would not always complete. When that happened, re-uploading the video also seemed to have some challenges. As an administrator for the platform, I could still upload the videos, but when we moved to SSO (single sign on), I lost that capability.

We have now branched out to utilizing the platform for other virtual coaching opportunities, including responding to objections, developing technical clarity and developing presentation skills.

**What problems is Rehearsal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

All of our training is now being done remotely, so Rehearsal has been a tool to help vary and enhance role play that we would typically conduct in a classroom.

  ### 7. Great practice for new hire employees!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mimi A. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2020

**What do you like best about Rehearsal?**

Rehearsal offers real-time practice that builds confidence in a new hire employee and that is a great addition to this software.

**What do you dislike about Rehearsal?**

There are many different features within Rehearsal, so navigating the difference between a participant view and the Admin view will help tremendously in navigating the site.

**What problems is Rehearsal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rehearsal has provided the opportunity for more hands-on practice the new hire employees consistently ask for.

  ### 8. Such a valuable tool. We prepare our alumni for the dreaded tech interview.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carrie M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 04, 2020

**What do you like best about Rehearsal?**

We are able to connect mentors from all over with our learners.

**What do you dislike about Rehearsal?**

Sometimes it is difficult to get the learners to submit their responses in a timely manner.

**Recommendations to others considering Rehearsal:**

I think you should absolutely think about using Rehearsal for implementing any sales training or mentorship opportunities. The ability for mentors to interact with learners directly is so valuable. There are many videos available to us from the Rehearsal team. I particularly like the elevator pitch.

**What problems is Rehearsal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tech interviews can be quite stressful and overwhelming. We are using the platform to simulate and prepare our learners for that experience.

  ### 9. Great IT Support!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Furniture | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 02, 2020

**What do you like best about Rehearsal?**

The program is helpful to organize thoughts. I've been doing sales a long time and realize I have been doing some of these skills, but reaffirms what I'm doing and making it more effortless in my presentations. Also getting feedback from my manager. Then you can review again to confirm what he had observed and his suggestions.

**What do you dislike about Rehearsal?**

I didn't like doing the videos at first, but now it doesn't both me as long as it loads into the system correctly.

**Recommendations to others considering Rehearsal:**

It is very helpful whether you are new to sales or have been doing it for a long time. Makes you evaluate each customer and what level you are with them and how can you improve the level.

**What problems is Rehearsal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

More organization in my presentations. Learning to do more probing and listening techniques and less talking. I think it will help more in the future as I'm looking for new business.

  ### 10. Rehearsal and Level Five feedback

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Business Supplies and Equipment | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2020

**What do you like best about Rehearsal?**

Everyone from the top down to the general line speaks the same language. Now more than ever, companies need the benefits of connecting leaders and their teams through video sessions.

**What do you dislike about Rehearsal?**

The reporting and searching is getting much easier and robust. Thank you

**What problems is Rehearsal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating time for the coaching sessions is always challenging. This platform helps us focus on achieving effective coaching with our sales associates.

  ### 11. Sales Training Coordinator

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Devices | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2020

**What do you like best about Rehearsal?**

Love the easiness of the platform and can always prompt for a new response and provide text or video feedback to the user.

**What do you dislike about Rehearsal?**

Not being able to submit multiple videoS for assignments

**What problems is Rehearsal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

No issues or problems. Benefit is huge for use with the app

  ### 12. Easy to navigate as a learner/mentor. CSG's always very helpful, available, and willing to help!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2020

**What do you like best about Rehearsal?**

It's encouraging to build service skills & confidence.

**What do you dislike about Rehearsal?**

Some Admin functions with pulling reports/ feedback reports are difficult to work with.

**What problems is Rehearsal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Report pulling.

  ### 13. Decent tool but overpriced and no direct integrations to LMS make the process very manual for Admin

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 10, 2020

**What do you like best about Rehearsal?**

Easy to use for learners and coaches to record and provide feedback

**What do you dislike about Rehearsal?**

Very time consuming to set up and to create all of the rules needed without an HRIS integration or SCORM capabilities.

**What problems is Rehearsal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sales teams practicing soft skills

  ### 14. Rehearsal is easy to use!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joshua K. | T, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2020

**What do you like best about Rehearsal?**

The platform is intuitive and the staff is eager to help when problems arise.

**What do you dislike about Rehearsal?**

The challenge has been adapting the platform to our process.

**Recommendations to others considering Rehearsal:**

For all levels of tech-saavy. Don't be afraid of the software.

**What problems is Rehearsal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Not only has this helped with skill building, but also helped improved the quality of feedback.

  ### 15. customer focused and easy to use/implement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lisa F. | Learning Design Strategist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 13, 2019

**What do you like best about Rehearsal?**

Everyone I have interacted with are very friendly and open to feedback in making their product even better. They are extremely responsive and quick to follow-up on any issues whether they are general questions or technical in nature.

**What do you dislike about Rehearsal?**

I would like to see a concurrent license type as an option instead of per user.
I struggle with how their structure of nesting their video (scenario) in a program and then an assignment is configured. Too many layers to this.

**Recommendations to others considering Rehearsal:**

Reputable company with great customer focus. They are continuously looking at ways to enhance their product. I would recommend this vendor to others without a doubt!

**What problems is Rehearsal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Currently we are leveraging this tool in our new hire trainings within the sales organization. This tool is a great aid in our virtual trainings to help increase speed to competency. This includes word tracks, handling objections through the use of role plays, and selling best practices. It's great to see the progress a rep makes from one assignment to the next. You really can see how they are progressing as they move through the scenarios for each video.

  ### 16. Learning & Development Program Manager

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brent A. | Learning & Development Program Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 26, 2019

**What do you like best about Rehearsal?**

Rehearsal has been easy to use since day 1. Ease of use from both an admin and a user side. Users can use mobile devices which gives them the ability to complete scenarios at their convenience. Reporting is also easy to use and gives great detail. Overall, the platform is very intuitive and easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Rehearsal?**

The platform could be better if it provided a real time role play option, to be able to record both mentor and user in a coaching situation. Other things that could be improved are the bugs in the mobile platform, but they are working on it and have fixes coming soon. (eg: rearranging scenarios alphabetically not by order designed). It would be nice if the platform would allow for branching or a more realistic back and forth similar to a real time ability.

**What problems is Rehearsal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using it for basic onboarding and conversational role play practices for our new sales people. Elevator Pitches, Objection Handling, Position with client benefits are just some examples. .

  ### 17. Intuitive, easy, effective!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Diane W. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2019

**What do you like best about Rehearsal?**

I think Rehearsal has nailed the balance of having enough features to make their platform robust but not so many features that it gets clunky, overwhelming and ultimately not used. It is easy to throw in one more feature or expand capabilities only to find users migrating away. Rehearsal has mastered this. I can set up assignments quickly and provide coaching and feedback in minutes. Coachees can easily access and do assignments without the frustration of the platform getting in the way. Bravo Rehearsal!

**What do you dislike about Rehearsal?**

This isn't specific to Rehearsal but more to this kind of technology - cyber security is real and a concern of clients. While Rehearsal has definitely done their homework in this area, some clients are just concerned about security issues in general and that may get in the way of a great tool being implemented.

**Recommendations to others considering Rehearsal:**

Do a demo and if you can, get in there and play with platform. You will quickly see how easy it is to use for the administrator, coach and coachee.

**What problems is Rehearsal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using Rehearsal to pull through concepts introduced in our live or remote training and coaching offerings. This helps the concepts stick and turn them into habits. We have historically been doing this via remote coaching but this asynchronous ability makes it much easier to execute on the pull through. The benefits we have experienced is that our clients to be very interested in this offering to help participants get more out of the training. And participants are on board because they can do the assignments when it works for their schedule and from wherever they are.

  ### 18. Disruptive Coaching Technology

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John H. | Co Founder, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 25, 2019

**What do you like best about Rehearsal?**

We recommend Rehearsal for all our clients. When combined with our forty-five microlearning modules the system packs a potent one-two punch for skill mastery.

**What do you dislike about Rehearsal?**

I wish that the Channels feature would send notifications of a new posting to the cohort assigned to that Channel.

**Recommendations to others considering Rehearsal:**

Try it out with a cohort who are open-minded thinkers and let it grow.

**What problems is Rehearsal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are putting an end to the era of "event-based" flavor of the year sales training parades. Sales is a profession. Professionals continually engage in practice to attain peak performance levels. Most sales leaders want to coach more but have little time. With Rehearsal and our microlearning modules, they can augment the precious little time they do have with virtual coaching.

  ### 19. How Rehearsal is helping Install a Sales Culture

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bob R. | Vice President, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 05, 2019

**What do you like best about Rehearsal?**

Combining role playing/practice and Channel content provides a highly adaptable and customizable way to engage salespeople

**What do you dislike about Rehearsal?**

Users/Creators get caught up in the process of setting up Assignments (create a scenario then Publish; create a program - then publish; create an assignment- then publish). Partly training and user lack of skill. But, perhaps there will be a more seamless way to do it at some point.

**What problems is Rehearsal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rehearsal is making it possible to capture highly experienced rep knowledge before it lost forever (before they retire!); just-enough-learning by posting relevant content for learning and communicating using Channels; and virtual coaching to augment field coaching.

  ### 20. Deliberate practice has game-changing potential

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David S. | Founder, Professional Training & Coaching, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2019

**What do you like best about Rehearsal?**

Rehearsal doesn't close the feedback loop after one volley, but instead, allows for iterative back-and-forth commentary and second, third, fourth tries between learner and coach. This is a lot more valuable than a one-and-done feedback cycle.

**What do you dislike about Rehearsal?**

In a world of bloated technology stacks, I would only wish for Rehearsal to also be a content repository, call recorder, and LMS. Having your Team jump in and out of so many tools as a daily habit is....unrealistic.

**Recommendations to others considering Rehearsal:**

Get your Teams to embrace immediate feedback as a necessary (THE necessary) ingredient to continuous development. Then use Rehearsal to root the habit down into daily/weekly practice.

**What problems is Rehearsal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Same as developing a habit around getting to the gym, Rehearsal helps to operationalize deliberate practice, which inures to the benefit of ALL go-to-market roles and Teams.

  ### 21. Chief Operating Officer

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Professional Training & Coaching | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 11, 2019

**What do you like best about Rehearsal?**

I like the assessment & performance aspects that the rehearsal platform brings to the fore, and the awareness of how users present to coworkers and customers that immediately brings depth and more empathy to users performance

**What do you dislike about Rehearsal?**

Grading for the mentor could be streamlined, as some other tools in the domain have done.

**Recommendations to others considering Rehearsal:**

This is a dynamite tool that will revolutionize your training programs and increase employee engagement while lowering conduct risk.

**What problems is Rehearsal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A wide variety of problems in training and communication are open to amelioration through this platform. We like using it for compliance training, onboarding, communication skill building, product education, customer & sales advancement training.... the list goes on and on!

  ### 22. This is the future, no doubt.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lance C. | Senior Consultant, Biotechnology, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 14, 2018

**What do you like best about Rehearsal?**

I like how Rehearsal shifts the focus from knowledge to skill application. It allows a person's actual skills to be practiced and coached to versus theories or what someone says they do. And I like how it incorporates a person's body language and support tools, which are actually stronger communicators than words. Too many times these areas are overlooked or assumed to be "fine".

**What do you dislike about Rehearsal?**

Rehearsal has done a great job of continually improving the system based upon customer feedback. One area I believe continues to be huge opportunity is "coaching the coach". Rehearsal's design allows appropriate leaders to review coaching strings to determine the coaching effectiveness. Because this review is based on actual coaching versus theory or having to be physically present, it opens a realistic window into the actual coaching sales people are receiving. Ultimately, Rehearsal could serve multiple levels at once and put both the sales representatives and managers in a similar mindset of being coached to improvement.

**Recommendations to others considering Rehearsal:**

People generally see this as a "test" or "assessment", so it is critical to get everyone in the right mindset prior to rolling it out. It's about coaching and increased touch-points. Don't overlook this step. Once folks are trying it, having someone "inspect what you expect" at the manager level will help ensure success. Don't allow "optional participation" or coaching feedback that is long, scattered, or not based on what was observed. Correct these opportunities for improvement right away. Once the process is working properly, the value is unmatched!

**What problems is Rehearsal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

#1) Individuals not mastering messages and/or the use of support tools prior to live meetings, thus live meetings become a mix of skills and standards. Rehearsal helps ensure individuals arrive to meeting prepared with the messaging and support tools already locked down. The live meeting can then focus more on when and how to apply these skills via multiple scenarios. Without Rehearsal, individual skills are all over the board, with the activities having to cater to the least prepared people.

#2) Having Managers ride with Representatives on a set schedule is a BUDGET LOSER! With Rehearsal, Managers and Reps can practice skills remotely to a specific standard. Only then does the Manager go out for a field session, where the focus is properly applying the proven skill at the right time. This approach saves a lot of money and helps keep the field session focus on coaching versus putting out fires.

  ### 23. I love Rehearsal!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 24, 2019

**What do you like best about Rehearsal?**

I like the opportunity to have fluid conversations and practice sessions with my students.

**What do you dislike about Rehearsal?**

I would like the opportunity to have the participants connect with one another, and be notified when one of them has posted something online - I understand that this is coming soon. I would also love the opportunity to see my students live, so we can review a video and then discuss live immediately after the review.

**Recommendations to others considering Rehearsal:**

Keep providing feedback to your representatives! They take suggestions seriously and move initiatives forward based on our opinions.

**What problems is Rehearsal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's making the students work on their skills much more quickly, and do so in an efficient manner.

  ### 24. Great platform for sales training!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erin G. | Director, Diagnostic Sales Training, Pharmaceuticals, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 13, 2018

**What do you like best about Rehearsal?**

I love the repetitiveness of the role play. The reps desire to 'get it right' before submitting, forces them to go through the role play more than once, which ultimately improves their delivery.

**What do you dislike about Rehearsal?**

As an administrator, it's not as intuitive as I'd like it to be. I had a hard time creating my first couple of assignments because I couldn't figure out if I needed to create an assignment first or a scenario.

**Recommendations to others considering Rehearsal:**

I would strongly recommend this product

**What problems is Rehearsal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rehearsal has solved my lack of time for live training. Through Rehearsal, I am able to role play certify new sales reps on three products that I can't cover during live training because there's not enough time. My reps graduate from Initial Sales Training, go home and have one month to complete the Rehearsal certification. The benefits of the platform are countless: I can record myself delivering a presentation on a new reprint or marketing piece, then assign it, along with a scenario to my sales force. They review the presentation, then use the reprint to role play. It really builds confidence in the reps and allows for immediate transfer of knowledge after my presentation.

**Official Response from Andrew Sizelove:**

> Hi Erin, the Rehearsal team always appreciates such a thorough review, thank you! Remember the Knowledge Center within the platform is your best friend, but know that our Customer Success team is standing by to assist so don't hesitate to reach out.

  ### 25. Rehearse vs. "I'm best when I wing it."

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Donna K. | Manager of Sales Training, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 13, 2018

**What do you like best about Rehearsal?**

To prepare our sales team to support a large training initiative, this platform can support everyone being involved. The SME group, management and training groups can comment on sales team member performance and content. We also use the platform for onboarding. Presentations delivered by new sales team members help their management understand the proficiency of new hires.

**What do you dislike about Rehearsal?**

Our large presentations require PowerPoint. Rehearsal is only able to support PowerPoint view while presenting in a computer format at this time. Our entire sales team utilizes iPads. No computers are issued anymore. This makes the delivery and review process challenging. Presenters and reviewers have to reference a different device to see the PPT.

**What problems is Rehearsal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rehearsal helps us solve for, "I'm best when I wing it." or "I really do better thinking on my feet." The assignment of Rehearsal practice presentations forces the sales team to work on their presentation in advance vs rehearsing in front of the retailers. The sales team members, for the most part, groan about this requirement and in the same breath comment that it was better to start on their presentations earlier than last minute.

  ### 26. Good resource for continuous learning and development

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Devices | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 17, 2019

**What do you like best about Rehearsal?**

That we can roll out training to a diverse population in local language supporting our European partners on an ongoing basis.

**What do you dislike about Rehearsal?**

There are no real downsides for the particular projects we use it for.

**What problems is Rehearsal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Regular meetings have solved any small issues we have had.

  ### 27. Great product, better service

**What do you like best about Rehearsal?**

Rehearsal is a great tool for our sales reps around the world to practice their calls in a safe learning environment. It also gives our managers the opportunity to see what their reps are truly saying in the field and provide coaching to help them improve their business.

**What do you dislike about Rehearsal?**

They've made some great enhancements over the last year that have really eliminated most of my previous dislikes. I'd like to see more capabilities for admins to update user categories, but that's about it.

**What problems is Rehearsal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a remote sales force, and only get together once per year for a national meeting; therefore, this allows sales leadership to keep a pulse on the field and provide opportunities to address opportunities as they arise, rather than waiting for a big meeting or spending thousands to get everyone together.

**Official Response from Andrew Sizelove:**

> Hi Katie, thank you for the review. You'd like to see increased admin capabilities, we hear you! Every bit of feedback is taken into consideration as we are always looking for ways to ensure Rehearsal is the most actionable and easy to use platform available.

  ### 28. Good startup. Room to grow.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 10, 2019

**What do you like best about Rehearsal?**

Rehearsal is a small startup, with a great concept -- mirrored coaching conversations. They are flexible with their road-map and have made some accommodations, based on feedback.

**What do you dislike about Rehearsal?**

Interface / user-experience leaves something to be desired. Admins often have a difficult time navigating. Associates often deal with issues when trying to record videos.

**What problems is Rehearsal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As training programs move toward scalable, efficient, virtual programs, Rehearsal solved the need for associate language coaching during the onboarding process.

  ### 29. Intuitive and streamlined platform with a few limitations.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 09, 2019

**What do you like best about Rehearsal?**

0 learning curve from a user's perspective. Quickly identify and respond to assignments and receive feedback within the same "conversation" thread.

**What do you dislike about Rehearsal?**

The steps to design a program, containing scenarios and corresponding assignments can be confusing at first. Email notifications hasn't worked well for us. Channels side of the site lacks features we are accustomed to other social platforms.

**What problems is Rehearsal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sales coaching across a wide geography, including general onboarding around messaging.

  ### 30. The proof is in the results

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Denise W. | SVP, Director of StarUniversity at Capital City Bank, Professional Training & Coaching, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 13, 2018

**What do you like best about Rehearsal?**

Results! We saw higher cross sales and referrals when using Rehearsal. Additionally, the concept is genius. People naturally don't want to submit a video that isn't their best work, so they usually record themselves several times before sending. Each time they practice they improve. They are self motivated to practice.

**What do you dislike about Rehearsal?**

Our biggest challenge was resistant associates. They provided many reasons, but what it boiled down to was lack of comfort. The other challenge was time. You really have to be committed to creating the right scenarios and providing meaningful coaching and follow up to get the true benefit.

**Recommendations to others considering Rehearsal:**

We (the training function) introduced Rehearsal to the Senior Division Leaders first. It wasn't an easy sell until they saw it in action. Be sure to schedule a demo with your internal clients before roll out. Also be sure to identify and train your coaches in advance.

**What problems is Rehearsal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

OUr first Rehearsal roll out was as a reinforcement of a retail banking sales/client onboarding training program. We split the measurement groups into 3, one only attended training, another attended training and had an email based reinforcement and the third attended training and participated in the Rehearsal reinforcement. The third group significantly out performed the first two. We measured cross sales and referral results. In 2019 we will be rolling Rehearsal out as part of our new manager onboarding and client service training.

  ### 31. Rehearsal to support sales training effectiveness

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ann R. | Sr Director Training and Education, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 14, 2018

**What do you like best about Rehearsal?**

The platform moves folks out of their comfort zone but also gives them the practice time to get back to a comfort level with whatever scenario they are working on. With virtual teams it is an invaluable tool for our sales management team.

**What do you dislike about Rehearsal?**

It is sometimes a challenge to keep our management team invested enough to utilize the tool to it's full extent. The sales force isn't really thrilled about using the tool, so it requires some support and encouragement to keep them engaged.

**Recommendations to others considering Rehearsal:**

The Rehearsal team has bee great to work with and goes above and beyond to ensure that our experience is good.

**What problems is Rehearsal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Pull through and reinforcement of sales training meeting content.

  ### 32. Rehearsal rocks to ensure consistent Sales Messaging while providing a solid tech experience

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Human Resources | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 13, 2018

**What do you like best about Rehearsal?**

What I like best about Rehearsal is the ability to customize video messages to Sales new hires extremely quickly and they can be edited instantly; I also love that we have an amazing Customer Success Manager who is so responsive and proactively provides us with ideas and best practices; I like that I can upload documents for new hires to resort to as guides before recording their responses; the "grading" is super easy to use and can be done via text or video back to the new hire; I love that a "grading" rubric can be uploaded for consistency, too; I like that the video responses can be exported with an Amazon WebService link to managers for additional coaching opportunities besides Sales Training feedback in our remote environment; I love the hot seat one time take feature, too.

**What do you dislike about Rehearsal?**

There's nothing that I don't like! I would encourage a potential user/customer to have a good idea of what they are looking for, evaluate multiple vendors, and do their own cost benefit analysis with an estimated ROI and goals when choosing a partner in this space.

**Recommendations to others considering Rehearsal:**

n/a

**What problems is Rehearsal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to ensure all Sales reps have amazing and consistent messaging for the field with their prospects while also ensuring that we are using the highest level of caliber and type of adult learning opportunities from webinars to classroom lecture and activity to in person role play to video/tech role play and beyond

  ### 33. Great platform to reinforce training retention

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Keith K. | Director- Sales Training & Education, Medical Devices, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 14, 2018

**What do you like best about Rehearsal?**

Ease of use. I can record a video and push out to 100 reps in just a few minutes.

**What do you dislike about Rehearsal?**

No "Hot Seat" available on iOS.
Still trying to figure out how to name Scenario, Program and assignment.

**Recommendations to others considering Rehearsal:**

Get buy in from multiple departments, so you can get in a regular habit of pushing out videos on a regular basis

**What problems is Rehearsal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reps get trained and if they don't immediately use what they learned, it is lost. We have them teach back what they learned in training sessions the follow week using Rehearsal

**Official Response from Andrew Sizelove:**

> Hi Keith, thank you for the feedback. Your comment regarding no Hot Seat capability for iOS has been noted. Always reach out as we are your partners in becoming great!

  ### 34. The Real Deal

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 13, 2018

**What do you like best about Rehearsal?**

At Accenture, we use the Rehearsal tool as part of our Storytelling courses. Rehearsal brings learners closer to the reality and helps them step outside the comfort zone. It is user friendly, not requiring over a few clicks to perform the tasks as a learner, mentor, or admin.

**What do you dislike about Rehearsal?**

The new version is a bit complicated with the 'assignments' bit. For my purposes the older version was more intuitive.

**Recommendations to others considering Rehearsal:**

Invest in marketing Rehearsal within your company. Else uptake could be low.

**What problems is Rehearsal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Better Storytellers, both in the Sales context and beyond. We see people are trying to experiment on Rehearsal which is beginning to help shift some behaviors.

  ### 35. Rehearsal Helps Drive Sales Performance

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Wholesale | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 13, 2018

**What do you like best about Rehearsal?**

The ease of use; the interface is very user friendly and the functionality good and growing with Channels.

**What do you dislike about Rehearsal?**

Wish I could attach documents to Channel posts, but I believe that's coming

**Recommendations to others considering Rehearsal:**

Great product and very supportive team

**What problems is Rehearsal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Working with a large client, we are deploying a Sales Coaching eLearning and Practice platform to build a stronger coaching culture, and to drive financial results. We've done both. We have 220 users and within 90 days had over 1,000 videos responses and coaching instances. The client is experiencing as much as 10% improvement in gross margins

  ### 36. Rehearsal experience

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Harshal K. | Assoc. Mngr, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 13, 2018

**What do you like best about Rehearsal?**

User interface is very intuitive and tool is easy to use

**What do you dislike about Rehearsal?**

The new interface can get a little confusing with the assignments feature. There are some webcam and audio issues at times to record due to computer or bandwidth issues. A better issue resolution or a tech help widget is needed.

**What problems is Rehearsal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Providing people a platform to practice their storytelling skills. People have utilized this platform well to practice their stories/pitches and have felt confident the next day when they present it to their clients/stakeholders.

  ### 37. Pleased with Rehearsal going into our second year

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bob D. | Manager of Sales Training and Sales Enablement, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 20, 2018

**What do you like best about Rehearsal?**

Really enjoy how easy it is for our sales associates to use the Rehearsal tool as well as practice their various responses multiple times before submitting the final response

**What do you dislike about Rehearsal?**

search and sort capabilities are lacking throughout the application

**Recommendations to others considering Rehearsal:**

Great way to get your sales team to practice sales call without scheduling instructor led role plays and/or Webex sessions

**What problems is Rehearsal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

challenging our sales folks on their knowledge of our product portfolio as well as testing their selling skills

  ### 38. Great for new hires

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Human Resources | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 13, 2018

**What do you like best about Rehearsal?**

I like this software for my new hires. It gives them a chance to reflect and verbalize the content they learned in the classroom setting.

**What do you dislike about Rehearsal?**

The new migration is way more difficult from a setup standpoint. I don't like creating the scenarios and programs separately, I am not sure why this change was made because it takes way longer.

**What problems is Rehearsal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our sales reps learn a LOT of content, this is great so that they have a chance to show us they can verbalize what they have learned.

  ### 39. Great Solution and Remarkable Team that supports it.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in E-Learning | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 13, 2018

**What do you like best about Rehearsal?**

An innovative way of providing practical and mentoring.

**What do you dislike about Rehearsal?**

The way upgrades are managed. However, this is a minor issue and the overall product is great.

**What problems is Rehearsal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The need to review communication skills.
