What do you like best about Refinitiv Eikon?

Refinitiv eikon can be used to see all the details of stocks and company overview. I used this application in my current company refinitive a london stock exchange group company Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Refinitiv Eikon?

It does use up too much memory space to run and if we don't have enough RAM and memory, it will slow down our computer system. Aprt from that I haven't felt any drawback. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Refinitiv Eikon?

The training courses were very easy to follow and covered scenarios one would use Eikon for. Additionally, the feature search is very useful for a person who is unfamiliar with the functions or apps. The ability to snap windows together to share a context for an instrument or entity was my favorite. It is easy to go from one self-created dashboard to another seamlessly while maintaining the context. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Refinitiv Eikon?

It wasn't easy to download data for multiple contexts easily. For instance, I would like to download the data for multiple windows sharing a context at one go and joining them easily. At times, I would like to share a certain view or a dashboard with a colleague, that could be built in too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Refinitiv Eikon solving and how is that benefiting you?

I used Eikon primarily as a data source for financial research. I find it easy to use the contexts to quickly gain insights into some of the hypotheses I come up with. Particularly, the graphing capabilities are really useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Its stripped down version is cost effetive and eventhought the work is on par with the competitors Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The data breadth of eikon isn't as good as bloomberg, but on comparing to the cost, its rather good Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
