I use Refiner to create in-app mini surveys for our Atlassian Marketplace app, and sometimes for in-app announcements or web surveys. I appreciate that it helps us understand our users better and establishes a quick, effective communication channel between us and them. I like that it feels pretty simple and lightweight. It's also nice to be able to make basic design adjustments, ensuring that the in-app pop-ups don't look out of place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I'm not really convinced about creating more sophisticated web surveys with Refiner. It lacks the necessary settings and options when compared to Startquestion or Typeform. Also, organizing surveys into folders could be better, but that's a minor issue. More logic flow options, hiding or showing questions or complete sections of questions based on previous answers, and frankly, a better UI as well. More types of questions could also be useful. Thank you so much for the thorough review, Matej! I'm happy to hear that our in-app surveys help you better understand your users in a simple and on-brand way. It's also great to hear that you're using Refiner for in-app announcements. And yes, you're absolutely right - we specialize in "micro surveys" and should continue improving our offering for more complex, long-form surveys.
