The seamless flow between applications and the ability to color code and customize keep my organizational flow simple. **What do you dislike about Shift?** Recently, I tried to create another space integration that's called spaces in Shift. That's when you want to have a different Google account integrated with it. I had issues with connecting it, but the Google account's also brand new, so it might be an issue on Google's end. But other than that, I've actually had no issues with Shift. If I'm developing software, I can have all my tools centralized in one app and switch between them with ease. Same for when I'm just managing my daily live, I can have all the needed apps right in one place. **What do you dislike about Shift?** Only downside for me is the pricing for a solo regular paid users. I feel there should be a tier between the free version and the team version where a solo user like me could have access to the amazing features without having to pay like a company. I can have them all open in Shift and easily toggle between them. It also allows me to easily see that I have new emails, chats or projects for every application that I have in my dashboard at a quick glance. This saves me hours a day with my busy schedule as a web and tech manager. I color code each client so I can glance and see applications that belong to each specific client. From Google Mail, Slack, Asana, Teamwork, Help Scout, Harvest, Paymo, Dropbox, RoboForm, CodePen, and many more applications that I use. They all have a home in Shift and cut my hours of logging in and out of applications to a minimum! I can't recommend Shift enough! Take control of your life! I use it every day! So easy to set up and start using within 30 minutes or less. **What do you dislike about Shift?** I really don't have much to say negatively about Shift. Sometimes when someone sends me a link let's say in Slack - and it's an Asana link, sometimes it has trouble finding it, but, a workaround is to copy the link and paste it into the right Shift Asana application. **What problems is Shift solving and how is that benefiting you?** Having to login to multiple applications, having too many browser windows open. I run several businesses and hold several volunteer leadership roles. Each business/project has its own Gmail/Google email address. With Shift I can quickly scan each inbox to make sure I have a feeling for what's come in overnight and throughout the day. Thanks to Shift, I don't have to log in and log out of each email address every time I need to check my email. Definite time saver! It's easy to set up email accounts on Shift. You can color code them so it's easy to tell what account you are in at a glance. **What do you dislike about Shift?** I am grateful Shift has added a way to store email addresses and passwords. I use Shift every single day, and I can't imagine navigating six active email accounts without it. The application easily integrates with all the mail servers I use and it's incredibly easy to setup on your computer. In the few instances (early on) that I had issues with the software, customer support was prompt, professional and committed to resolving the issues quickly. It can integrate multiple accounts, with incoming messages automatically grouped into as many as four categories. Implementation was simple. I just entered the account access information, and it imported everything. I rely on it at work every day, to handle email quickly and efficiently and without losing track of any. It just works. I've never had to call customer support. I've tried other email clients, but Shift is the most reliable and the only one that works for me. **What do you dislike about Shift?** Shift had trouble, at times, printing to my PDF editor (PDF-Exchange Editor Plus) but they seem to have fixed it in the latest update. **What problems is Shift solving and how is that benefiting you?** Grouping email items by type, based on my classifications, is essential for the way I work. Shift handles this perfectly. When I click a link in an email, it opens as another tab in the Shift window. If I want to open a particular link in a different browser, this is also an option. Trying to work with multiple accounts within a single browser is a nightmare, but Shift makes it easy to get set up quickly and helps me stay and work in the right account without hassle. I have Shift installed on all my computers and I use it daily. On the rare occasion that I have contacted customer support, they respond quickly and I'm able to get my issues resolved in one conversation. **What do you dislike about Shift?** Shift is pricey ($149 per year, as of this review), but it is worth every cent. **What problems is Shift solving and how is that benefiting you?** Shift helps me to work in multiple workspaces without having to log in and out of accounts in my browser. I use it daily and love that it allows you to work in separate workspaces for each email account. I've always received timely responses when I reach out to customer support. The other good things is that it's pretty easy and straightforward to use and I love that you can integrate different apps. **What do you dislike about Shift?** Honestly, I don't see may downsides. The only one would be that sometimes when I click links, it goes to my external Chrome browser vs. opening within Shift. As a business owner that helps other business owners -- I am able to have a different workspace for each business. Allowing me to be extremely organized in my day-to-day tasks. **What do you dislike about Shift?** I do not like that it does not allow use on tablets or iPads. I do understand why though. I also wish it had a workspace option for Outlook as many of my clients use that email account (without needing to add it as an app as this causes me technical issues). **What problems is Shift solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is solving the ability to be able to manage many different workspaces at once. The software foundation itself continues to impress with a centralised theme being core to its usefulness. **What do you dislike about Shift?** A year on, still awaiting the Cloudflare issue with "are you human" to be resolved. This means certain apps don't work with Shift, vCita and now ManageWP being the primary ones causing me most concern and frustration at the time its taking to fix. **What problems is Shift solving and how is that benefiting you?** The memory footprint is the biggest benefit for me, as a consultant working with many clients, I used to have a myriad of tabs open for each project inside Chrome, now I use Shift instead and can easily arrange all the apps I need access to in a worspace, much easier to use. I used to rely on Mozilla Thunderbird for email, but that led to complicated setup, huge MBOX files taking up lots of disk space. Now, I simply add my personal GMail and Google Workspace to Shift and have easy and seamless access to personal and business email. The only think that is not practical with Shift is that my LastPass does not seam to work well with Shift....which means it does not fill my user name and password automatically.
