I've been building and maintaining websites for my various businesses for about 25 years and have interacted with a number of hosting providers over that time. Having used the DNN platform for most of this time, I've been rebuilding our websites on WordPress integrating LearnDash for our training business. So WP was a whole new world to me. After setting up initially with another well-regarded hosting provider, I moved to Rapyd Cloud and it's been one of the very best business decisions I've made.

The support team is fantastic, polite, responsive, and most of all, knowledgable in all aspects of getting my sites up and running. My sites are also lightening fast. I feel they've gone above and beyond on helping with setup solutions that are not directly related to their hosting services. They also continue to follow up each support request relentlessly until they're sure it's resolved. This consistent follow-up is priceless in my busy world. My businesses depend on it. I own a WooCommerce website and have tried multiple hosting providers in the past including Cloudways, and then switched to WP Engine (before Rapyd). While the website was always fast, I faced two major problems, mainly around performance that gets impacted during peak time, and then I always get billing surprises, which is not ideal for a growing business like us. While intimidating at first, it was easy to fill up the forms and migrate my website and domain.

I immediately got much better performance and security compared to what I had, which is insane and explain the high price and why they are top 1 in the benchmarks.

I would say that it's not accessible for everyone in term of pricing for someone who wants to start but it's very affordable and reasonable in the end if you manage to make enough money quickly.

Rapyd Cloud has been amazing at solving critical issues for my website. At first, I had some trouble with dashboard integration and plugin compatibility after the update. Even though the team resolved everything quickly, it would be great to have tools or alerts to prevent these issues in advance.

Additionally, I’d love to see an affordable plan for non-dynamic websites like small landing pages. I have a few small sites that don’t need the same resources as my main site, and it would be great if Rapyd could offer a special pricing tier for these smaller projects—or even include them as part of a main plan. I'm not a coder or developer, but I chose to create my Wordpress site on my own, with 0 tech skills. Without Rapyd's support team I don't know where I'd be. I first crashed my site using a mis-matched plugin to create a staging site. The staging site was a mess and it prevented me from accessing the admin dashboard on my live site. Ricky, from Rapyd helped me restore a backup that was done less than 24 hours ago from their servers restoring my site perfectly. Then he helped me navigate a problem where my new staging site could send emails. Thank you Rapyd, and especially to Ricky which stayed with me on chat to resolve this problem on a Sunday! The interface is extremely easy to use and the technical assistance is excellent. When expect your webiste to up and working, having to worry about your webhosting is the last thing anyone wants to do. With Rapyd Cloud you get reliable service and worry-free webhosting. This was and is a well thought through solution to maximize and enhance not only WordPress websites but BuddyBoss and LearnDash sites as well. With a heavy-weight WordPress plugin stack like BuddyBoss + LearnDash + WooCommerce + GamiPress + a page builder, WordPress designers and developers can create the fully custom social media and online learning platforms of their dreams. But this dream starts to become a nightmare when your server isn't up to the task. Worse, when you realize that there isn't an amount of money that you can throw at private experts or popular WordPress managed hosts to get your site running efficiently, because they don't understand the unique needs of these high concurrency, highly dynamic sites.

Rapyd rescued the BuddyBoss community from ineffective and extravagant server costs by providing a simple, scalable managed hosting solution for our unique needs. Their chat support is quick to reply and seek solutions and I hope these other plugin developers appreciate how much time the great support at Rapyd saves them by providing users a place to check for caching issues or setup errors, confirming there's a bug with the plugin before submitting a ticket. As someone who joined Rapyd during their beta, I was around for some of the expected beta bumps and bugs and the training period on their support staff. Every month the experience got smoother, the interface improved, support got more knowledgeable, and requested features were integrated.
