What do you like best about Altair AI Studio?

Once you've mastered the basics of the UI and occasionally eccentric jargon (why on earth call variables "macros"?) you can put together very advanced predictive models with very little effort. The tutorials and community are excellent for helping you up the learning curve and don't just help with product usage itself but how to tie it to business use cases as well. What do you dislike about Altair AI Studio?

The UI forces you down some very linear paths and won't let you keep certain panels open across dual monitors which implies a lot of flicking backwards and forwards which wastes time and feels somewhat retrograde. Macros (variable handling) handle data types exceptionally poorly forcing you into all manner of workarounds and consuming debugging time that considering how easy other aspects of the system are to use feels totally incongruous. Recommendations to others considering Altair AI Studio:

Either get the trial and put together a quick MVP using your real data or find a consultant to help you do this. The value of quickly proving the end-to-end process is tremendous. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Altair AI Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?

Predictive modelling of customer journey events - for example, using early stage customer behaviour to predict conversions or lifetime value. Has required use of the product to import, clean, extract features, model results and integrate into business processes. Considering the complexity of what we're doing the product has performing very well and we're starting to see the uplift in the overall business metrics that we were hoping and expecting. Social media interface which are developed slowly and poor of variance. Missing operator on documentation which is quite awful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Altair AI Studio?

You can easily find updated information at their web page, so for me it is very useful.

When you prepare data prior to analyze it RapidMiner allows you to obtain a data review and then you can process the data with other tools inside RapidMiner so you don't need to open an Excel to validate the data.

Another pros with RapidMiner is the Auto model tool, it gives you a model then you can use this model as a source to test your data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Altair AI Studio?

When you read data into the tool and put it inside a repository, it could be more easy.

I would like to present data retrieved from Auto Model to an interactive web site to show the information obtained. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

On RapidMiner while your are solving a problem, it gives you a hint so you can't get lost and solve the problem on this moment, then you can continue and finish your project efficiently.

This is a great tool not only for teaching students different concepts related to ML, but also to working professionals and organizations. The best part is the ease with which design can be done in a matter of few minutes. Hyper parameter tuning becomes very easy.
