Compliance manager does what it's billed for.
It provides an easy-to-follow guide and a place to maintain compliance documentation.
It is easy for a new user to pick up and learn and provides a cloud-based tool for management that we can use in conjunction with our compliance vendor. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Compliance manager falls short when it comes to guidance.
It's not software that you can utilize without the assistance of someone who specializes in compliance and can fill in the gaps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We're able to integrate our on-prem environment fairly easily. It automatically pulls in user accounts. It allows us to notate their access levels and security controls directly in the software. Couple that with the fact that we're also able to store all of our previously manually generated and archived documentation, and you have software perfect for our needs. It would be better if someone of the visual elements were updated.

It only talks about the controls, however does not have suggestions for how to complete controls if they are not in place. With the help of our consulting agency we would not be able to complete everything, so the GRC is not a one stop shop for QA. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
From a compliance management perspective, it is seamless and easy to stay up-to-date on ensuring your documentation is all in order. We were able to aggregate what documents we were already using for our CMMC compliance and transpose them into the system without much headache.

Some of the upsides to using Compliance Manager are:

- Scaleability, new employees can easily be brought into the compliance management team quickly

Some of the disadvantages include of Compliance Manager include:
- Poor interface for mobile access
- No IOS or Android App
- Little to no Apple Support
- Occasionally has an issue where an uploaded document will need to be re-uploaded after initially showing as completed Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
