Top Rated Ranktracker Alternatives
The product is ok, however, I found rank tracker quite buggy compared to higher quality alternatives Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I bought a lifetime subscription via AppSumo for $299 a few years ago, only to realise that they've locked out all lifetime subscription members from their accounts now (they now charge $82/year in order to keep your lifetime (!) acocunt).
I wrote AppSumo what can be done and they told me that Felix (founder of Ranktracker) has stopped all communications with them.
I've bought a large number of AppSumo deals but this is the first time a company would refuse to service their customers. I would not do business with such a dishonest company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Update of my Review as of November 2024.
The software is very good, but all of us who had paid for the lifetime deal had our access blocked after having had an agreement with them. Now they are asking us to pay or we will not be able to use the tool. Incredible, we have supported the tool since its inception and we pay for lifetime access.
I can only say that you should be careful.

I acquired the tool a few weeks ago, and it is spectacular. Who would not like to reach the top of Google, because this tool has been giving me ideas of where I am in the Google Search Engine, the web page audit tool is fantastic; it shows us many details of arrangements that we must make in Our page to improve our positioning in the different search engines, shows us an Overview, a Health Check, Usability and Technologies, Pages Analysis, Meta-Analysis, Content Analysis, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I did track for some words in the Dominican Republic location, and it did not show me any results. It seems that more countries need to be included.
They do not comply with the agreements with the client. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

While Ranktracker initially seemed promising with its user-friendly interface and fast keyword fetching, the product ultimately failed to meet my expectations. Some key features like the site audit had bugs and provided questionable results. Additionally, Ranktracker's limited functionality compared to other SEO tools at similar price points made it feel like an unjustified investment.
The lack of ongoing development and subpar customer support further detracted from the overall experience. In the end, despite some initial appeal, Ranktracker did not deliver the comprehensive, reliable SEO toolkit I had hoped for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Ranktracker turned out to be a huge disappointment due to their dishonest and unethical business practices. Despite purchasing a lifetime deal, I suddenly found myself locked out of my account unless I paid for an additional yearly "support plan". Ranktracker essentially held my data hostage and tried to extort more money out of me, going back on the original terms of the lifetime access I had paid for.
The lack of communication and transparency from the company was alarming. They knowingly deactivated paid lifetime accounts without providing any viable solutions or answers to affected customers. Attempting to navigate away from the paywall page or get any kind of support was futile.
On top of the deceptive bait-and-switch tactics, Ranktracker's actual features were buggy and subpar compared to other SEO tools. The company seems more focused on misleading marketing and squeezing money out of customers than delivering a quality, reliable product.
It's clear that Ranktracker and its founder Felix cannot be trusted. They have scammed AppSumo lifetime deal purchasers out of over $500k collectively with these fraudulent practices. I would strongly warn others to avoid doing business with this unethical company that does not honor its commitments or value customer trust whatsoever. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Nothing anymore, they cancelled the product for AppSumo users. Ran away with our money. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It stopped working for AppSumo users. So we invested at the start and then they locked us out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

their Keyword Research tool is OK. It's helped me uncover some keywords that have boosted my site's SEO. You can easily discove keywords that alig with your content. It's like a treasure hunt, and finding those high-ranking keywords feels like striking gold. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
But here's where things go downhill. I bought a lifetime deal from Appsumo, which seemed like a fantastic bargain at the time. But after a while, I hit a roadblock. The deal just stopped working, and they forced me to pay again for what I'd already paid for. Talk about a punch in the gut! It felt like buying a car, only to have the dealer come back a year later and say, "Oops, you need to pay again to keep driving."
It's not just about the money; it's about trust. This experience has left me feeling deceived and taken advantage of. I mean, when you purchase a lifetime deal, you expect it to last a lifetime, right? Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Ranktracker is a useful tool for researching keywords. Easy to use, it helps to monitor a website's rank and track progress effectively. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have no complaints. I think maybe more monthly credits :) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I bought a lifetime deal on this. Paid my money and used it for a year or so. Now, it's blocking me from using it unless I upgrade to a paid support program. I don't need a support program? How can you sell software and then block users from using it. I would never purchase software from a company that doesn't honour their commitment to customers. Total scam. It wasn't that great. It was slow and the keyword tracking was always very different from other tools so I always had to cross compare. I would rather use keysearch or ahrefs for all my work. But, as I paid for a lifetime license I still used it as a comparison tool. Now they've turned it in to ransomware, I've given up trying to get the company to honour the deal they sold. There's nothing to like about Ranktracker. After paying for a lifetime membership on AppSumo, they decided that server costs were too expensive and blocked all users who didn't upgrade to a paid monthly fee. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not only did the founder sell the tool and violate the lifetime membership contract. This tool is nowhere near as sophisticated as SEMrush and other tools. Many of the tools that are actually provided by this app can be found for free elsewhere. I'd never recommend paying for a tool like this - many better/cheaper alternatives are available. Initially Rank Tracker was decent but after some time I noticed inaccurate results. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Eventually all my data was lost. Waste of time using this software. Support was of no help. No support or use if you account and data are lost Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The user interface was clean, and the newsletter copy was engaging and motivating. But sadly, it was all just to lure you in. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I purchased a lifetime deal for Rank Tracker on AppSumo, excited about the possibilities it offered for $300. However, my experience has been nothing short of a disappointment. Despite the initial promise of a lifetime subscription, Rank Tracker knowingly deactivated all paid accounts for AppSumo users without providing any viable solutions or answers. The software is unusable.
The lack of communication and transparency from Rank Tracker is alarming. After reaching out for support, I was met with silence, leaving me without access to a service I had invested in. This not only reflects poorly on the company's integrity but also raises questions about their commitment to customer satisfaction.
A lifetime deal should signify a lasting partnership, but Rank Tracker's actions suggest otherwise. Potential buyers beware – investing in this software might result in frustration and financial loss. It's disheartening to see a company engage in such deceptive practices, and I would strongly advise against choosing Rank Tracker for your SEO needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
