We love that the approval process doesn't hold up the ability to sync expenses. We also love the control over what gets synced, and when it gets synced. Also, overall, I'd say the customer support we've received from Ramp has been great. It has been less consistent as of late, but when we first started with Ramp (about a year and a half ago), it was consistent and awesome! **What do you dislike about Ramp?** Regarding Bill pay: One of the features of the sync to QBO involves a deletion of the payment record weeks or months later in the event that the check payment is never deposited by the vendor. This throws off our monthly accounting reconciliations to have a payment on the books and then later on have that payment record automatically deleted. Not sure what the solution is! **What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?** Ramp saves our team a ton of time by making it very, very simple document credit card expense info. Also, making bill-pay and approvals completely remote through Ramp has saved our team from having to drive into the office or wait until an approver is back from work-related travel. However, Ramp is linked into our main operating account. We gave them no training - yet, from the moment it was rolled out for employees use, they have used it like crazy. We did Purchase Orders on paper which had to wait about a week for implementation. Now, we do POs on Ramp and they have a 1-2 hour approval record. It was easy to get everyone in, even our accountants - Customer service is always so helpful, even when there aren't features that are offerred currently, they'll provide work arounds or let you know when that feature is offered. -I'm able to choose the accounting date when syncing to our accounting software. This is a big one, especially for accrual accounting. It saves so much time. -Our billing/receipt/all accounting flows just so much easier because it's so much easier to get the context of what the charge was, and if I don't know, the comments or reminders in ramp allow me to follow up with the team. **What do you dislike about Ramp?** There are only two things I wish I could change about Ramp: -I wish you could set the time zone and time for cards with daily limits to reset. Currently it's in UTC which can be tricky when we use it for team onsites since it doesn't coincide with when we're using the cards. -I wish you could designate someone on the team as a "travel planner" to automatically be able to book travel and manage trips for everyone. Currently, a user can log in and designate someone individually to do this, but it would be helpful to take away this step (especially for C-level users who usually don't have the time to log in and do this). **What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?** It allows us to control spending so much more as well as automate a lot of our otherwise very timely accounting processes. In a small start up like ours, it's so important to have a software like Ramp that allows us to have that control and minimize the amount of time we're spending on the processes. ### 23. The whole implementation was done by myself. It easily integrates with our accounting software (Sage Intacct) and provides variety of features for proper record keeping. We were able to replace 3 different providers with Ramp, and now our AP, Employee Expenses Reimbursement and Credit Cards are all in one place. Customer support is always excellent in responding quickly, even though I do not get to contact them often thanks to the very detailed and easy to navigate Help Center. And best of all there is cash back when you use Ramp Card, which adds up so quickly and can be used in variety of ways. **What do you dislike about Ramp?** There is honestly not much if anything.. You can control how many notifications you get from Ramp, as it might be a little too much if you are an Admin. When it comes to adding a new user or even creating a new spend program, ramp makes it very easy to do it all. Not only is it easy for the admin side of the program, but even for employees that use the credit card. It makes summit receipts and invoices extremely easy for everyone involved. **What do you dislike about Ramp?** I would say due to certain limitations with integration of unpopular ERP systems, it can be difficult at times to export data into your accounting software. You need a strong understand of excel exports and csv files if you want to integrate ramp with certain accounting software. **What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?** With previous credit card companies it was extremely difficult to track company spending. You would need to look at the statement and the end of the month and compare that to physical paper receipts that would be handed by the respected mangers. Now with ramp it is very easy to take a picture of those receipts and have them show up instantly on the admin side. Coding certain purchases to the right accounting category in ramp is very helpful, and makes using credits cards a lot less easier for everyone. ### 50.
