**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** October 11, 2022

**What do you like best about Ramp?**

Ramp has saved us a ton of time and jumpstarted our expense management. Integration with our accounting software and account rules has also saved us a ton of time on the bookkeeping side.

**What do you dislike about Ramp?**

This is specific to our Company situation but Ramp's Bill Pay is not rolled out where we're based (Texas). This is supposed to roll out by end of year so we're looking forward to that.

**What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Saving us time on the administrative side of the business so we can continue to focus on building the business. Also, our sales team has reduced time tracking expenses, etc.

**Official Response from Katie Hoag:**

> Hi Jonathan, thanks for taking the time to leave us a review. We're delighted to hear that Ramp has saved you a ton of time with your ERP integration & accounting rules, and is freeing up your sales team from manually tracking expenses! I'm not sure if the part of your review that mentions Bill Pay not being available in Texas is a remnant of your previous review in 2022, but Bill Pay is currently available everywhere in the U.S. and I believe your company is leveraging it now!

Thanks Jonathan, we appreciate having you as a customer!
Katie

  ### 4. Streamlined billing and credit card needs for non-profit/church!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Allison C. | Director of Operations, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2024

**What do you like best about Ramp?**

Ramp is easy to use, and the customer service has been terrific! It was easy to transition our staff to the credit card solution, and it eliminated paper bills and receipts. Additionally, it provides great data to my department managers and users. Better yet, is it is free for us to use. It integrates well with Quickbooks online! My team uses this product daily, and we are so thankful for it!

**What do you dislike about Ramp?**

If we could modify which QBO accounts are seen by user in the free version, that would be terrific. It is offered in the paid version, but free is nice!

**What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ramp consolidated our credit card and billing processes. It allows users to upload documentation and approvals to be smooth.

  ### 5. Easy to use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kelly R. | Controller, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 23, 2024

**What do you like best about Ramp?**

User friendly - very intuitive - quick - implementation was a breeze. The customer support from our implementation contact has been amazing. He is very promp and on point with succinct direction. Downloading the excel fil for integration with GL system is very smooth.

**What do you dislike about Ramp?**

I don't dislike anything about Ramp. maybe a few too many emails.

**What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

efficiency in handling credit card purchases made by employees

  ### 6. Time Saver, Continous improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Museums and Institutions | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Ramp?**

Ramp has saved our company a lot of time processing AP and Credit Card Charges. I love that ramp continuously improves their product, finding new ways to quicken our processes.

**What do you dislike about Ramp?**

All drafts are still viewable by everyone with access to bill pay. This creates a bit of a privacy issue.

**What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ramp is attempting to come up with a way that send an invoice in bill pay to drafts so that all users cannot see all invoices that are in drafts.

  ### 7. Ramp takes the hassle out of accounting for expense reimbursement and corporate cards

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 29, 2024

**What do you like best about Ramp?**

Ramp has been a great help in efficiently syncing transactions to QuickBooks. The controls and rules that Ramp provides allow for less manual oversight and work when collecting documentation and categorizing expenses. Ramp's bill pay feature is also extremely conventient, you just drop your invoice in and Ramp pulls most of the relevant data out for your review. The integration to Gmail or Outlook for receipt/invoice retreival is stellar as well, it saves time in chasing down users to upload receipts.

**What do you dislike about Ramp?**

I wish there were more reporting available. Being able to export data in a csv is great, but more in-platform reporting ability would be great.

**What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ramp has gone a long way in aleviating some of the pain points that we had around employee reimbursement, it is no longer a manual process. It has also been a mojor help in establish controls around the AP process. We just set a rule that requires approval from an admin and a vendor owner in order to pay a bill, now we have a clear audit trail.

  ### 8. Simple and effective tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vinita D. | Executive Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Ramp?**

It is really easy to use and has helped me organize my finances better. The automated expense reporting feature saves me a lot of time which helps me make smarter decisions.

**What do you dislike about Ramp?**

It was a little complex to set up initially.

**What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has helped me keep track of my business expenses in one place and automatically categorizes them. It has also helped reduce unnecessary spending.

  ### 9. Fantastic Banking and Expense Mgmt Platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Ramp?**

Easy of use. Intuitive workflows and interface, easy to navigate, easy to update.

**What do you dislike about Ramp?**

Nothing. It's great. Such an amazing upgrade vs competitors like Brex.

**What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is easy to spin up cards for vendor-specific purchases, travel and other employee spend.

  ### 10. Great Platform!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 23, 2024

**What do you like best about Ramp?**

I love the fact that we can create virtual cards on the fly for special purposes. We can give a person a physical card and they can create virtual cards for special projects. I also love the fact that Ramp enforces loading receipts. We used to spend a lot of time trying to get people to send in their receipts. It integrates well with QuickBooks online. We will be upgrading to Ramp + in the near future when we switch to Sage. The cashback feature is great, no points to mess with, just a cash refund!

**What do you dislike about Ramp?**

When paying people with ACH we have to click Payment type each time we make a payment. This is not stored in the vendor record so it adds a lot of keystrokes and prevents the payments being processed as a batch.
Sometimes the period between the charge and payment date can be short. All payments are processed on the same date whether the charge was made recently or 30 days ago. The float on our other credit cards is longer. We feel that the cash back and ease of setting up cards more than offsets this.

**What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Expense management, AP automatin is not quite there yet.

  ### 11. Ramp has completely transformed our outdated systems

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brian G. | Executive Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Ramp?**

Ramp does a great job at the most basic/core function of providing a great platform for corporate cards. Its easy for our employees to use and provides a great number of features that encourages employees to track expenses better. Meanwhile, the platform allows the finance team to track, monitor, and support much better than our old, traditional corporate card system. The customer service is top notch and the many features that go beyond even just corporate cards have streamlined much about our finance department. It was easy to implement, has many integrations to our other systems (QuickBooks, Teams, etc) that increase the frequency with which people interact with the platform (beyond just swiping their cards). We also have been embracing the features that allow us to use project/budget-specific cards and even vendor-specific cards to allow us to better track spending to budget and protect against fraud & misues.

**What do you dislike about Ramp?**

We have not encountered any real downsides yet. There are some automations that we're hoping to be able to implement that are unique to our staff/business, but many of those are being worked out with assistance from customer service and a robust roadmap of future developments.

**What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Corporate cards, streamlining of finance department processes, automation & better management of AP processes. All of these have been easy to implement and have streamlined our systems in major ways.

  ### 12. Easy to use, responsive customer service, this is a fantastic corporate card

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark T. | Finance Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Ramp?**

Ramp cards are extremely easy to set up & use, with a great selection of reporting filters and flexibity. The hierarchy in authorizations is great, the ability to submit receipts on the spot or have them auto submitted through Gmail or Amazon is fantastic, as is the ability to code them into the General Ledger on the spot. The community forum just started but is good, and the customer service is fantastic. Can't say enough good things about this card.

**What do you dislike about Ramp?**

The payment on your statement is made the day after the statement closes, so there is no floating the balance for 21 days. I actually like this feature but some companies may not. Their download doesn't currently work with my accounting system, but they have a general csv. file that I can work with, and they are currently developing a customizeable export which will make it extremely easy to customize it to any system.

**What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The first problem was finding a charge card that did not require a personal guarantor. Ramp pegs the credit amount to the companies actual cash, so it works very well for us. Missing receipts had always been an issue, but with each cardholder being able to see what is missing and getting notifications about it has made it much more rare. Credit card entry had always been slightly more difficult with our accounting system, but being able to enter them in batches with the general ledger coding has been great, and having all of the receipts available for viewing is amazingly helpful. I also appreciate the spend controls that can be customized by card, not only limiting to a certain dollar amount but being able to refresh that amount in different increments (daily, weekly, monthly).

  ### 13. convenient

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Ramp?**

I like the fact that ramp is fast and easy

**What do you dislike about Ramp?**

I dont like that it doesnt save my default settings on accounts

**What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Its helping me spend money on work trips

  ### 14. Ramp has quickly become a vital tool for our Company!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Entertainment | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 11, 2021

**What do you like best about Ramp?**

The ability to control spending quickly and efficiently is the best part of Ramp. The system is straightforward to use and integrates so nicely with our accounting software Netsuite. Its flexibility with virtual cards allows our business to be as organized as we would like. We are loyal Ramp users but are very eager to see where this company continues to grow. It has already shown a tremendous amount of value.

**What do you dislike about Ramp?**

We have not found anything negative to say about this product! But they are very eager to hear about any issues you have and will constantly work with you to find a resolution.

**What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving issues regarding spending control. Our previous credit card did not provide us the tools to control our company spending as Ramp does. It also provides us ease of Expense Reimbursement submission, approval and payment.

  ### 15. Excellent Credit Card Function for Business

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Douglas C. | CFO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 23, 2024

**What do you like best about Ramp?**

Ramp is seamless and easy to use. Our staff loves the simplicity and our AP Dept can't say enough about how receipt images are right there for ease of posting. Our Team uses the virtual CC function for quick out of town needs and we enjoy the ease of lowering or raising limits with a click in the app.

**What do you dislike about Ramp?**

The only downside of Ramp is the inability to carry balances from the statement date to the payment due date like traditional Credit Cards do.

**What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ramp solves our issue of gathering receipts and issuing Credit Cards to our staff. It is easy and simple to control.

  ### 16. Frictionless Finance

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Oscar L. | Controller, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Ramp?**

The end to end spend platform provides an immersive financial experience for users. In particular for managers, it gives them real time financial data points, and provides delightful dashboard reporting summarizing their data giving them immediate insight on their spend. The ability to have all your front end financial processes on one singular platform which can be shared with the entire organization provides an incredible amount of automony or time savings efficicency for an entire organization.

**What do you dislike about Ramp?**

Employees will give pushback over the loss of points for their personal credit cards. This falls on deaf ears for Finance, but it is a valid concern to get ahead of and gain firm footing on your response.

**What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ramp is a key tool in solving for our budgetary goals. It increases financial awareness by providing real time data, reporting, and insights to our employees. It has replaced 4 other softwares and improved efficiency, accuracy, and even provided some cost savings through their contract analysis tool.

  ### 17. Consolidated control of company credit cards

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rob W. | Finance Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Ramp?**

1) Access to a larger credit limit
2) Built on the company's credit. No guarantor
3) Virtual cards are amazing!! Transfer between users as needed.
4) Instant locking and unlocking for policy breakers. We have an internal policy that receipts for transactions are required to be turned in within 5 business days or your card is locked. The accounting view makes enforcing this very easy.
5) Reimbursements directly into employee's bank account
6) Mileage tracking
7) Purchase approvals by manager
8) Quickbooks desktop import file and QBO integration
9) Easy for employees to meet policy requirements through multiple avenues of entry (text, email, mobile app, or web app)
10) Easy onboarding using YouTube videos
11) Always improving.
12) Automatic Amazon invoice matching integration

**What do you dislike about Ramp?**

1) Receipts will occasionally disconnect from transaction. Eveyone remembers seeing it at one time, but when we go back to retrieve it, it's gone.
2) I wish receipts would sync with Quickbooks Desktop.

**What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Consolidating all Credit card expenses into one platform that is easy to manage from.

  ### 18. It keeps getting better and better

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tabitha D. | Accounting Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Ramp?**

Besides all of the original reasons why we started using Ramp and loved it, now I really appreciate how easy it is to add new employees or close cards of former employees. Since it connects directly to Gusto, it only takes a couple of clicks when changes need to be made.

**What do you dislike about Ramp?**

I have had some issues because a vendor has one name in our accounting software but then the card transaction comes through with a slightly different name. So I end up with two vendors instead of one. But this is just a minor annoyance.

**What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can request W4 from new vendors from Ramp. Then the W4 information is tracked to make 1099s much easier. Also, Ramp notifies me when a contract is getting close to it's expiration date. These are small details but they save a lot of time. I haven't used any other program that had either of these features much less both of them! And Ramp is FREE! Awesome.

**Official Response from Cristina Carnazzo:**

> Hi Tabitha,
Thanks so much for taking the time to leave a review- happy to hear that our emails a getting through! Love to hear that we are helping employees track expenses and that you're leveraging the cards to help manage subscriptions. We appreciate the feedback and having you as a customer!

Thanks,
Cristina

  ### 19. The best way to manage business finances

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 16, 2024

**What do you like best about Ramp?**

Ramp's automations make it simple to categorize transactions, manage spend, and close books every day. One of our most-used features is "spend controls" where we can partition unique controls and gaurdrails based on vendor, transaction category, etc.

**What do you dislike about Ramp?**

The travel features are not fully-baked yet. Our team often leaves Ramp travel to book flights, hotels, and other accomidations. With that being said, Ramp improves quickly so I'm confident this problem will be resolved soon.

**What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As our spend grew, it became hard to manage controls across different vendors, or have insights into how company-wide spend would break down across a given month. Ramp's insights and controls allow us to automate (with visibility) that entire process decreasing our bookkeeping time from days to hours.

  ### 20. Ramp centralized all of our company's A/P and dramatically reduced time spent organizing invoices.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 24, 2023

**What do you like best about Ramp?**

Ramp automatically pulls invoices from inboxes, and streamlines the payment and approval process. Similarly, the product has massively derisked our payment processes with virtual cards with hard limits, linked to each of our vendors.

**What do you dislike about Ramp?**

The platform requires payment to be submitted in order for invoices to be synced with our ERP system. It would be nice if we could pass invoices into our ERP without scheduling a payment.

**What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ramp ensures that our operational expenses remain in full view of the accounting/finance function, eliminates surprise bills, and handles the cases where vendors prefer to be paid by check.

  ### 21. Ramp is an amazing up and coming finance platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Biotechnology | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Ramp?**

The UI and UX are super easy and intuitive

**What do you dislike about Ramp?**

I wish it had more features so I could do more of my finance and accounting work out of it

**What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automating A/P and expenses which saves me time, Ramp travel for team bookings, procurement as a hub for team members to submit PO requests, and much more

  ### 22. Ramp is great and ever evolving to encapsulate the needs of growing businesses!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 26, 2024

**What do you like best about Ramp?**

I love that you can set up spend programs that allow you to create company stipends. The rules are very robust and you can ensure that only one employee gets access to the card instead of manually checking to see if someone has access to one already. This saves time and worry.

**What do you dislike about Ramp?**

The only thing that I wish we got on ramp was an integration with our HRIS system. Any manager change in our HRIS has to be manually changed in Ramp so the approvals go to the correct person.

**What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We utilize Ramp for a lot of reasons, but mostly our expense management and AP automation. They provide helpful insights on how to save money and the have the capability to creating robust approval chains to guardrail your company's money.

  ### 23. Cha ching! Rewards galore!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Patricia Z. | Program Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 23, 2024

**What do you like best about Ramp?**

With Ramp, we're able to rack up points and apply those to our year end gift giving!

**What do you dislike about Ramp?**

I have not found any dislikes on or about Ramp.

**What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ramp is solving the spend request for the entire organization with their virutal card feature.

**Official Response from Katie Hoag:**

> Hi Patricia, thanks for taking the time to leave us a review. We're delighted to hear that Ramp's virtual cards are helping you manage spend requests for the entire organization and that your Ramp rewards help you with end of year gift giving! We appreciate having you as a customer!

  ### 24. Great product that fits all our needs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Julie B. | Payroll & Expense Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 20, 2024

**What do you like best about Ramp?**

The ease of use and automatic expense uploads and the ease of implementation

**What do you dislike about Ramp?**

I have no dislikes. The system works perfectly

**What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ramp has made it easier and quicker for our employees to submit expenses

  ### 25. Next Level Expense Reporting & Corporate Credit Cards

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Performing Arts | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 27, 2023

**What do you like best about Ramp?**

(1) Intuitive receipt reader - receipts can be emailed or texted and automatically matched to transactions, (2) Corporate Credit Cards: Employees can be issued multiple virtual cards to improve expense tracking and security, (3) Amazing Partnerships and Rewards CASH!!!!

**What do you dislike about Ramp?**

The UX from a bookkeeper's or manager's perspective, could be improved. Looking at transactional data to prepare data for syncing could use some design improvements.

**What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ramp has significantly reduced accounting administration for both our employees and managers, improving the lag between when expenses are incurred and when they show up in our books for financial analysis.

**Official Response from Katie Hoag:**

> Hi there, thanks so much for taking the time to leave us a review. We're delighted to hear that you're enjoying our receipt auto-matching, virtual cards, and cashback rewards. Thank you for sharing your feedback about the bookkeeper UX-- we're always looking to improve our UX and your insights are valuable to us. Could you reach out to feedback@ramp.com to share more details around the design improvements you'd recommend?

Thank you!
Katie

  ### 28. Simple to use

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tony E. | COO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 23, 2024

**What do you like best about Ramp?**

It was very easy to onboard Ramp for us. We could incrementally get on the platform and test things out before we fully moved over allowing us to build confidence that it could replace our previous vendor.

**What do you dislike about Ramp?**

I think the organization of the website is a little complicated. I've learned to adapt to it but it's not alway clear where to find things.

**What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allows us a single point of solution for paying vendors whether through credit cards or invoice bill pay or employee reimbursement.

  ### 29. Ramp is a dream for detail oriented accountants as well as FP&A teams

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan H. | Head of Finance, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 23, 2024

**What do you like best about Ramp?**

Every single headache from expense reimbursements, bill pay, card spend, controls etc -- all of it has been completely eliminated. If you use Quickbooks or NetSuite (and possibly others) you will cut hours off your month-end time close time and implementation will be a breeze.

**What do you dislike about Ramp?**

I truly can't think of a single thing. While all platforms have room for improvement, there's nothing today that I don't like!

**What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Controls over runaway credit card spend, enhanced internal controls over AP processing, department tagging to expenses

  ### 30. Easy to implement, even easier to use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarah P. | Director of Finance & IT , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2024

**What do you like best about Ramp?**

The mobile app and the receipt text messages are two of the things that I like about Ramp. From an implementer perspective, the whole implementation process seemed to good to be true but it wasn't. I have implemented and expense software in a previous job and Icannot even compare the the two experiences. Ramp has out did themselves.

**What do you dislike about Ramp?**

We have been using Ramp for almost three months now and I honestly cannot come up with any dislikes.

**What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Happier end-users and quicker visibility of expenses to help with cash flow forecasting.

  ### 31. Ramp has saved us countless hours and made our process more accurate

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark P. | Chief Financial Officer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2024

**What do you like best about Ramp?**

The streamlined coding process. All of our field leaders really enjoy using the app

**What do you dislike about Ramp?**

Nothing yet! We are four months into the implementation and have very few snags.

**What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It was taking us two weeks and countless hours to approve and code our spend each month. Now it is completed within the Ramp module and synced with our accounting system.

**Official Response from Katie Hoag:**

> Hi Mark, thanks so much for taking the time to leave us a review. We're delighted to hear that all of your field leaders are using the Ramp app and that you are saving time approving and coding your spend each month. We appreciate having you as a customer!

Thank you,
Katie

  ### 32. Ramp has been a great tool for tracking, tagging and approving our expenses.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jonathan N. | Senior Director, Finance, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 26, 2024

**What do you like best about Ramp?**

UI is very clean for users and admins. Users at our company love how simple the receipt reminders are (text and email). For admin users it has been great for tracking expenses by department, account, and vendor for easy reporting (both in Ramp and in our financial reporting).

**What do you dislike about Ramp?**

It's expenses. No one likes the requirements needed, but Ramp does make it more painless.

**What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ramp helps us manage spend to our budgets, and dispense funds efficiently to our employees as needed.

  ### 33. GREAT EXPENSE MANAGEMENT TOOL

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Ramp?**

Easy to use ramp as this helps us in sending our expenses by attaching the receipts, and the reimbursement process is so easy, the entire team uses it.

**What do you dislike about Ramp?**

I dislike that there is a limit to the credit that our company is providing on our card.

**What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can even reimburse our travel expenses during our team outings and meetings, which controls our spend management.

  ### 34. Great user experience; both for employees and admins

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adva M. | People Ops Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 23, 2024

**What do you like best about Ramp?**

Ramp is very user friendly and allows for seamless reimbursment processes and expense managment. From an employee's standpoint it is very easy to submit receipts via the automated matching feature and the interface is great. From an admin's perspective, it is a great tool to manager, approve and suprivse spendings.
Numerous employees have mentioned how big of fans they are of Ramp.

**What do you dislike about Ramp?**

User friendly, great auto matching featurs, great support team
Easy to integrate and implement with HRIS

**What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing company spenfing

**Official Response from Katie Hoag:**

> Hi Adva, thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a review. We are delighted to hear that you find Ramp to be user friendly and your employees are enjoying the auto-matching receipt feature. We appreciate having you as a customer!

Warmly,

  ### 35. Easy to use, administration is thought through.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Entertainment | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Ramp?**

Ease of getting started and cleans up otherwise clunky processes.

**What do you dislike about Ramp?**

Little learning curve on back-end payment connections.

**What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Continuity in personnel processes, timing of data collection.

  ### 36. Ramp is very convienient, easy to set up and integrates seemleesly with our accounting system

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Denis M. | CFO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Ramp?**

Very simple to use and understand portal. Convieneint for quickly assigning and changing credit limits for employees

**What do you dislike about Ramp?**

Bank integration was a little challenging to make payments on card - excited about their new bank account feature.

**What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy to set credit limits for both employees and contractors

  ### 37. Accounting Assistant

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 02, 2024

**What do you like best about Ramp?**

I like that I can assigned virtual cards to individual vendors that will then code these expenses automatically for me. I also like that it is so easy to updated spending limits, assign cards to employees, and receipt are often automatically added to the transactions.

**What do you dislike about Ramp?**

I wish the reimbursements would download without a journal entry and if would match exactly how it shows on our bank statements for easier reconciliation. I would also like to be able to attach a page to accompany a physical check and we would switch from Bill.com to Ramp Bill pay.

**What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

No more expense reports, just attaching a receipt and allocating the appropriate accounting codes. It's so easy!

  ### 38. Expenses and Bills done RIGHT

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nathan W. | Finance Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2024

**What do you like best about Ramp?**

Ramp's tech is modern, efficient, and effective. Even their API and docs follow modern best practices. Onboarding was easy, and we're using Ramp every day to complete our bookkeeping and expense tracking!

**What do you dislike about Ramp?**

If asked a week ago, I would have said 'the linked business account we have with ramp doesn't integrate with our accounting system in the same way our credit cards do.'
But I was on a call with a Ramp project manager within a day to express this problem and a solution is in the works. So... Nothing at the moment!!

**What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ramp allows us to keep spend organzied across a large organization and control a large volume accounts payable inbox for vendors.

**Official Response from Katie Hoag:**

> Hi Nathan, thanks so much for taking the time to leave us a review, we love to hear that you're using Ramp every day for your bookkeeping and expenses! Thank you for sharing your feedback about your accounting system integration with one of our product managers-- we're always looking for ways to improve.
Thanks,
Katie

  ### 39. Fast and very easy to use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erika L. | Financial Controller, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 26, 2024

**What do you like best about Ramp?**

I love that I can schedule payments right there in the platform and assess my cash needs for the next few weeks. The dashboard makes it very easy for managers to approve bills, and for employees to use the virtual/physical cards

**What do you dislike about Ramp?**

I would love to have more flexible reporting within the app

**What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping me provide faster solutions to employees regarding their purchases, as well as more features for me to manage my vendor payments

  ### 40. Its a great expense management software.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Ramp?**

I love that i can easily submit my expenses and the reimbursement process is fast and smooth.

**What do you dislike about Ramp?**

There is nothing that i dislike about Eamp, its just that it has pending limits according to my company policy.

**What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Its easy to upload the receipts and its easy to check the each process on the day of submission.

  ### 41. As a previously multi-platform & bank account user - take my word for it and get Ramp!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 06, 2024

**What do you like best about Ramp?**

That it's uses are so comprehensive and the support is fantastic! We were able to go from using mutliple platforms for bank accounts, bill pay, employee reimbursements, company card mangeetn to just using Ramp! Any questions or issues we ran into along the way were very quickly responded to and resolved. It's never been so easy to pay invoices, with their forwarding feature, issuing virtual cards has been a GAME CHANGER - so.easy! Honestly, not a day goes by that we are not using this platform to its full extent.

**What do you dislike about Ramp?**

This is a hard question to answer - there is next to nothing that is difficult about using Ramp! The only thing I've noticed is that sometimes there are brief hiccups with the automation of the connected accounts and the statement uploading process (working around platforms that use tokens, etc.) but nothing that interferes with productivity or payments being made!

**What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking and managing spend/expenses as well as simpliyfing our Bill Pay process.

  ### 42. Ramp has a wonderful platform that is always expanding to include useful functions

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Donna B. | Controller, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2024

**What do you like best about Ramp?**

Ease of use for cardholders. Ease of use for accounting team

**What do you dislike about Ramp?**

N/A .

**What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking and obtaining receipts

  ### 43. Ramp has been a game-changer for our business credit card expenses and reporting!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Religious Institutions | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 12, 2022

**What do you like best about Ramp?**

I love that Ramp combines the credit card with expense reporting so everything is consolidated in one place. It has also helped that our credit limit(s) are based on our checking account balances and do not have to be tied to one individual's credit history. We were able to quadruple our purchasing power when we switched to Ramp from a main stream credit card company. We also love that we earn cash instead of points as we are able to apply it to our balance and reduces our monthly payment. I love the fact that when we reach 80% of our credit limit, we can set Ramp up to automatically pay down our balance so we never run out of available credit.

**What do you dislike about Ramp?**

I did find it interesting that Ramp did not have an app until recently. I do not like the fact that when splitting a charge, I can't tab between fields - I have to move my mouse and click. I am very much a keyboard shortcut person. Other than that, there are not a lot of things that I dislike about Ramp.

**What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ramp has helped us solve missing receipt issues. Employees/cardholders can text a photo to Ramp and it is automatically attached to the charge! And since the credit card is through Ramp, the transactions show up immediately as opposed to waiting for it to clear the credit card company before showing up in our previous expenese reporting software.

  ### 44. Ramp - our best corporate card experience yet

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Josh W. | Director of Financial Operations, Higher Education, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 20, 2024

**What do you like best about Ramp?**

Ramp has been extremely easy to migrate to from our previous system. Cardholders love how easy it is to submit expenses and that it provides multiple integrations so they don't have to upload every receipt. The AI built in to Ramp is top notch. It has reduced the amount of time I spend managing corporate cards each month and has reduced the amount of time cardholders and approvers spend on corporate cards. Ramp is great for finance teams where you're juggling multiple hats. Ramp physical and virtual cards can be added to Google/Apple Pay and that's helpful. Ramp just makes life easier.

**What do you dislike about Ramp?**

There is really only one thing I can think of that is a drawback for us. Our previous system allowed us to issue multiple physical cards to one person when necessary. Ramp only allows for one physical card per person, but allows for multiple virtual cards per person.

**What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ramp is making managing corporate cards easier. We are able to see which vendors are being paid the most on corporate cards and are able to enter in contract information for each vendor so that we know when renewals come due.

  ### 45. Ramp is exactly what we needed for our start-up business

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christy B. | HR & Customer Support Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Ramp?**

Ramp is easy to use to pay our affiliates and influencers. This is important since we pay our affiliates every week and we are constantly paying our influencers. We use PayPal for paying many of our affiliates but some people don't want to use PayPal and some international affiliates can't use PayPal in their country. It's easy to set up a new affiliate payment by creating a new vendor. We don't even need to have the affiliate's bank info because we can have Ramp request it directly from the affiliate. International payments are just as easy to set up. We have used Wise for some international payments since their international fee is negligible, but several affiliates had issues getting Wise set up to receive U.S. payments. Once the vendor is created it's easy to make additional payments as needed.

Our business credit cards are also through Ramp; we even earn cash back on purchases. With everything in one place and divided into categories, Ramp reports easily let us see where we are spending the most and compare to previous months.

We don't need customer support very often as most things are straightforward for what we are using. The occasional time we did have a question Ramp responded almost immediately and answered our questions.

**What do you dislike about Ramp?**

We are charged a $20 wire fee for each international payment. This price is consistent with our bank's fee but It would be nice if Ramp charged the same $4.99 as PayPal. It would also be nice if Ramp offered instant payments like PayPal.

**What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Making payments, managing credit cards and credit card payments, and tracking expenses are the main reasons we went with Ramp. Ramp interfaces with our bank account so everything is automated and easy.

  ### 46. Best Credit Card System Ever

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Noah W. | Vice President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 23, 2024

**What do you like best about Ramp?**

Ramp has been the best thing for our business since sliced bread. It makes life so easy to report transactions and capture receipts. Also issuing cards to new employees could not be easier

**What do you dislike about Ramp?**

Honestly, I haven't found much that we dislike about Ramp. I wish we could customize the cards more to match our branding as a company but that's small things.

**What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Credit Card Reconciliation

  ### 47. Ramp is game changing for my clients

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Calvin W. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Ramp?**

My favorite feature is the bill pay function and receipt forwarding as well as sync to QBO Online

**What do you dislike about Ramp?**

My lease favorite function is that bill pay is not sold separately and AP is not created real time for bill pay.

**What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ramp allows me to easily issue corporate cards to sales people as well as control their spend. The bill pay function is also an amazing feature.

  ### 48. Ramp Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Martin R. | Controller, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 20, 2024

**What do you like best about Ramp?**

This totally elimates the need for expense reports by the team. It can give you control over spend. The interface with Intuit is amazing. Best accounting time saver.

**What do you dislike about Ramp?**

Not much to dislike. Going well. We have not had any issues.

**What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

There are no longer a need for employee expense reports.

  ### 49. Ramp is intuitive and perfect for first-time founders

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Oil & Energy | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Ramp?**

Ramp is incredibly intuitive. It helps us seamlessly track our spending and onboard new team members quickly.

**What do you dislike about Ramp?**

Sometimes the suggested memos for purchases are incorrect, but it saves a lot of time when the suggested memos are correct!

**What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a business credit card that is easy to use and easy to track spend with. Ramp provides this; we're very happy with the product!

  ### 50. The Total Package

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Trent S. | Vice President of Finance & Administration, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 08, 2024

**What do you like best about Ramp?**

Our team loves the app and the easy notifications to approve expenditures, raise credit limited, and create virtual cards for recurring expenses. Intergration with Quickbooks is faultless. The Bill Pay feature has allowed us to go almost completely paperless. The approval process is all online and payments are made by ACH or mailed by Ramp. We can also add external approvers like a board treasurer to the approval flow.

I may only print and sign 2-3 checks a month now for local vendors who need immediate payment on delivery. For us, it's the total package.

PS You can lock credit cards for team members who don't fulfill the requirements within a set period of time like adding a receipt and a description of the expense. Talk about good motivation for sales people!

**What do you dislike about Ramp?**

Since approvals are made on each expense, it can be more time-consuming for managers used to simply reviewing a monthly statement.

**What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ramp gave us a paperless a/p process with flexible policies and approval flows. It was easy to set up and users all love it. On the credit card side, users love the ease of use and app. From an administration stand point, I love setting up virtual cards for recurring expenses that I can assign to anyone when there is turn-over without having to contact vendors and update information.
