I was able to determine immediately that I only needed the general donation and raffle toggles on for our specific campaign. I also appreciated that no one had issues reaching the site, and I was able to have the site pull the names automatically once the raffle was completed. **What do you dislike about RallyUp?** From my interactions, I honestly do not have many issues with the platform. Internally, we have not integrated your platform into our CRM just yet, so that is one thing I'm looking forward to happening. **What problems is RallyUp solving and how is that benefiting you?** RallyUp has done a great job creating a platform that is digestible from the customer-side. For instance, a lot of people at our organization enjoyed how we built the raffle side of RallyUp. It was quick and straightforward to add the products we wanted to sell, along with photos and other important details. I also received great customer support from Katie; she checked in regularly to see whether I needed help or had questions, and she shared ideas to help boost sales. It was simple to locate customer information and print sales reports, and there were plenty of options to personalize our campaign. We use RallyUp every year for our fundraising needs because it’s so user-friendly and makes it easy to make changes or updates whenever we necessary. I love that we were provided our own simple web address and QR code to make it easy for customers to place orders. We were able to easily integrate the website and QR Code into our newsletters and advertising materials. **What do you dislike about RallyUp?** The only issue I had with RallyUp was finding the reports I needed to print. I would love to see those in a more user-friendly place on the site. It was not a hindrance though. I found in incredibly easy to use and build the first year so it was a no brainer I was going to use it again this year! Besides the ease of the site from start to finish on the platform side, the other best part about RallyUp is the support I got from Katie this year answering every little question I might have had quickly and helping me navigate a few things! The auction was wildly successful this year and without a doubt will use RallyUp again next year, should the school want to do this fundraiser again! **What do you dislike about RallyUp?** I don't like the auto tipping that goes to the platform. This confused a lot of people that they thought they were tipping to go back to the school. **What problems is RallyUp solving and how is that benefiting you?** I had raised a bunch of donations that were originally supposed to be used for an in person raffle at another event. Our school's county laws changed right before that event and we weren't able to do anything on school property with raffles/auctions. We were unsure how all of the items were going to get used when PTSO asked me if I would be willing to set up a silent auction. I like being able to copy a template that's worked for our chapter while improving and adding features each year. We typically sold tickets and tables, but this year, we were able to use the 'fund-a-need' feature, and we're considering the paddle raise feature to keep the in-person crowd engaged. The initial setup was the longest, taking about a week or two, but now, with all content and logistics ready, we can go live in 48-72 hours. Additionally, there was no straightforward option for donors wanting to contribute more than the set amount of $120, leading to further confusion. At the silent auction checkout, there were inconsistencies in the emails sent to guests. Some emails congratulated winners but did not specify the items won, making it difficult to verify through the back end. This inconsistency occurred about four times, which was frustrating. Lastly, when a team signs up, they do not receive personalized links for registration, necessitating manual intervention on our part to add team members. **What problems is RallyUp solving and how is that benefiting you?** I find RallyUp simplifies fundraising with its user-friendly platform, making silent auctions easy and efficient. The platform offers extensive options for customization, allowing me to tailor campaigns to my needs. The visual appeal and user experience on both the front and back end are outstanding. The raffle setups are very helpful, and I also adore the social sharing features, which engage participants and enhance exposure. Their customer service, especially interactions with the director, has been amazing. **What do you dislike about RallyUp?** I find the reporting features lacking. The reports do not capture details on the types of tips left, which is crucial for gaining insights into our donors. Moreover, the reporting can be confusing, especially when integrated with PayPal or Stripe, causing challenges for our financial team. I also wish there were more customization options for managing discounts. It would be beneficial if discounts could be directly connected to purchases without needing a separate code. Additionally, while selling sponsorships online, there should be an option for people who want to buy a sponsorship without registering a team, as the current setup forces us to find other workarounds. If you have raffles, a store, registrations, team /table registrations, you should add a section to sell sponsorships because we were blown away by the amount that were purchased just by making it as easy as registering for it on RallyUp. **What problems is RallyUp solving and how is that benefiting you?** I find RallyUp to be customizable and visually appealing, allowing for diverse fundraising strategies. It simplifies campaign setups and enhances engagement through social sharing. Customer service is exceptional, making fundraising more efficient. It is an issue that you have to choose either Paypal/cards/check or Digital wallet(Stripe)/cards/check. We love that we can run multiple raffles, or raffles and silent auctions, in a single event. The ability to email participants and export reports is also a plus. New features, such as the ability to include multiple pictures in silent auction listings, are very helpful. Rally Up staff are available and eager to help if you have questions. **What do you dislike about RallyUp?** Sometimes bidders find it confusing, or don't understand that they have to check out in order for their bid to take effect. We find that it is necessary to do an FAQ for every event to prevent problems from arising. **Recommendations to others considering RallyUp:** The free payment option seems to be the best bet for us, as people want to help out the nonprofit and don't complain about paying a little more, especially when they get additional raffle tickets. **What problems is RallyUp solving and how is that benefiting you?** This was a great fundraising tool when we could not get together in person. Now we are using it as a hybrid tool, starting before the in-person event and concluding with the live event. ### 40. I was able to use it to shape my fundraising efforts to fit my event like a glove. **What do you dislike about RallyUp?** I had some issues with the Live Feed, but those were problems on my end, all in all, it was great. **What problems is RallyUp solving and how is that benefiting you?** We were executing a Busk-A-Thon -- twleve hours of live music. And I had no idea how to collect pledges before the event. RallyUp made it super easy. Especially given the excellent live support I received from Ashley. ### 41. So when it came to me that our Animal Shelter needed a fundraiser for a bunch of kittens, I was recommended RallyUp for its options. Options! There are so many options! And It's flexible. The event creation page is so helpful, going step by step and walking you through the things that are necessary to function first, and then extra stuff for flair. We had a fundraiser that most sites would not allow due to the options we wanted. And yet RallyUp let us run a raffle for naming each of the 29 kittens we had! At one point I asked a question about pay in the Customer Service chat and got an immediate answer (within 5 minutes), with a transcript emailed to me in case I needed a recap for the steps the rep told me. RallyUp has been communicative, supportive, and we're so happy about how the event page looked and functioned. **What do you dislike about RallyUp?** The only thing we disliked is still understandable due to RallyUp's policies: We were holding a many-item raffle, so 29 raffles altogether. We wanted to allow people to get a single ticket for $1, but RallyUp requires raffles online to be purchased starting at $10. It's to help with platform and maintenance costs, so it's completely understandable. However it did turn away a few people initially when they couldn't put in $1 or $5 to one of our raffles. It's okay though, because RallyUp allows for offline ticket management, we were able to make arrangements so those people were included and the donations were still received. **What problems is RallyUp solving and how is that benefiting you?** I can attest that RallyUp is alleviating the issue that building websites for fundraising is difficult; RallyUp allowed us to make our event page look great, eyecatching, and profitable. Another great note is RallyUp allows us to hold monthly recurring donations, which is an important thing for our non-profit. ### 42. We can't add the "auction" feature after the campaign has already begun. I would also love if there was a way that people outside of our community can also take part in the auction. For example, BiddingforGood has a auction marketplace type of site where anyone can go on and bid on items from auctions around the world. **What problems is RallyUp solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have most of the event-related info and ways to engage on one page, so it's simple to share with members of our community. Our company enjoyed being able to pick out a number of fundraiser types that worked best for our event. RallyUp provides all your information for both the event planners and the sponsors throughout the entire process. You can customize check-out questions, create new categories, and send personalized emails. While setting up our event, we were provided an extremely helpful fundraising specialist to answer any questions we had. **What do you dislike about RallyUp?** We didn't find many things we didn't like about the platform. The payout time is a bit long versus other platforms, but the little fees make up for that time. **What problems is RallyUp solving and how is that benefiting you?** Many other platforms take a large portion of fees, or they're not set up for different fundraising types. Our most recent raffle, a donor wanted their table to our event raffled off and we immediately turned to RallyUp knowing that the platform was easy to use for both us and donors, did what we wanted it to do for us, and keeps great analytics on donors. ### 50.
