This review is written because they stopped replying to my e-mails, and I have no other options for reaching them out. They "terminated" our account with more than 300 active offers.

Their first answer to my e-mail was:

"The reason why we terminated your account is because you failed to respond to inquiries from a member of our Network Quality Team."

Ok, I found the missed e-mail, replied to those questions (they were pretty simple: about our traffic and promotional methods).

Their next question was:

"Thank you for writing back to us.

Please note that in our report we can see that there is one IP which is generating multiple clicks...In Rakuten Advertising Affiliate Network, we don't allow such type of traffic. So, we request you to investigate on your end and block the IP."

Of course, we replied to this at once (it was our server IP address - and then we asked for more details - what they mean), but no answer since then.

We've been working through Awin, Admitad, CJ, Shareasale, and many others affiliate networks for many years (we at "kashback com" has 5,000+ advertisers across the globe Booking com, Aliexpress, iHerb, etc.) but never met such attitude.

I like that there are so many different options for marketing research. There are so many ways that you can utilize Rakuten Marketing to better influence your business structure and customer base. It is a tool that helps to optimize where you stand in your target market/customer base. It has great customer service and it is easy to set up an account. There are lots of different tools you can use to figure out your target markets, reach, influence, etc. It was definitely a beneficial tool for me to use with a business. I don't like all of the ads that constantly pop up on my social outlets that try to get me to do more with the service. There also are some tricky things about it that I don't believe are very well suited for unknowing users. It's not a super easy thing to learn how to use, but it is definitely easier than a lot of outlets I've used in the past. Also I wish it was more collaborative. Personally I think it's better suited for larger (well maybe not larger, but basically just not nonprofits) businesses. It's harder to use for nonprofits, especially during this state of panic. Rukuten is a fantastic affiliate platform for sourcing links and offers from both established and emerging merchants in the affiliate space. The best features in my opinion are:

- Wide variety of merchants to choose from. Many top merchants in the space seem to use Rakuten.

- Most advertisers have links

- Deep linking extension works well compared to similar features on other affiliate platforms. (Note: more info on which brands accept deep linking would be helpful) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Some things I dislike:

- You can't access links and offers from multiple brands at one time on the platform

- "Shortened links" are not provided for text links

- Searching for offers within an individual merchant does not work well. In order to properly search for offers the user typically has to manually scroll througha nd review each offer.

Taking a data driven approach to Marketing Campaigns, Rakuten Marketing will provide the reporting you need on the collateral you're using. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It has helped to build strong customer loyalty by giving us analytics and insights that aim in satisfying customers' needs. It also has a wide outreach of clients and it has helped us to build a large diverse base of clients.
