The incorporation of weather and photos at first review page of report Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
No photo included in body of report. ( for instance, if an issue was identified - there could be a way of inserting a photo in the text Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The app is easy to use for my field superintendents and we are able to do most everything we need to do through Raken. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Raken has recently introduced some new features that we needed like timecards and equipment tracking but rolled them out prematurely with issues. The development team is taking way to long to fix the issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The app is very easy to use and has great looking reports. It has an automatic weather integrated into reports which is fantastic to keep track of weather lost days. You can also set email reminders when you forget to fill out daily report which is one of many great features the app has to offer. Recently, a lot of added features such as toolbox talks, production to track labor, equipment and materials has been added. It is an overall great organizational app to track your jobsite hours, progress, keep a log of your jobsite photos and so much more. Highly recommend as it is very easy to use and it has a talk to type feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would like to see the implementation of different Price Plans by employee. For a company with many employees you are almost certain to be on the higher price plan as you will have some employees need the added features. Currently you have to pick one plan for all employees which has limited me from adding some employees as it is not cost effective to pay a higher price plan rate when they are using only one aspect of the app such as logging hours. As such you should be able to pick different plans for different employees depending on their role and needs. Another issue is you cannot see time card reports on the on app. This needs to be done on a PC. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Raken allows our construction inspectors to complete their daily reports in the field as the work is happening instead of jotting down notes and then typing into the computer back in the office at the end of the day. Raken also helps keep track of photos and gives me, the Project Manager, immediate access to their data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Downside - I wish it could integrate with Smartsheet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
1. Off-line usage for my lack of access to WiFi on the job site.
2. Automatic filing of job pictures to job-named folders for easy retrieval.
3. Ease of creating new projects.
4. Ability to edit previous entries.
5. Easy to do throughout the day, or throughout the site-walk. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
1. Inability to edit the job information (specifically location) when creating a project from my mobile device.
2. When inputting Work Log information on my phone the text boxes sometimes follow down to the "Description" box, making it hard to see what I am typing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As a superintendent for a general contractor part of what we get paid for is logging the progress of each job and presenting those logs to the customer. Downloading my daily pdf's and placing them on a thumb drive was simple. When I hand the thumb drive over to the customer with my company logo on it it feels great. They often look at me with a smile and are surprised when they find every single day of the project in pdf form with many pictures attached to the corresponding day. I would like a faster way to scroll between dates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It organizes the wealth of notes taken on site in a searchable database. If I'm trying to rebuild the history of my site notes, everything is right therequickly available for the whole job. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish it would cross reference within itself better. Tasks are independent of the daily reporting. If that could be integrated into the daily reporting so that new identified issues could be flagged for followup it would be a huge help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Many will admit the construction industry is a bit behind in technology but digitized daily reports from Raken are helping bring us up to speed. The easy to use platform is great for my colleagues and I. It cuts back on time taking reports and helps us keep track when we need to reference back. If a client asks about men on site on a specific date or over time it’s easy to pull the needed data and send it over. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While Raken makes great reports - they’re not as customizable as I would like. It doesn’t allow to download to an excel file which is often what I want to study my own date or share specific pieces for the client. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The best thing about Raken is that I can get 75% of a report done prior to leaving the jobsite. I also like the format of the reports when PDF'ing and providing to clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I haven't found anything I don't like about Raken. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like the fact that I’m able to document everything I need to say. App has options from notes to time. Which works great for me because I can keep up with contractor times onsite and there notes. Then I’m able to transfer reports to the boss on a daily basis! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don’t have any dislike about this app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
