Raken is what I call a poor man's reporting program that is simple to use and integrate into your files Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish Raken had the ability to incorporate project drawings into the daily report Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The Toolbox Talks are very helpful in finding weekly topics to hold All Hands Safety Meetings. Also, I like the Safety Checklists provided for a daily view of the job-site conditions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would like to see more variety of Safety Topics in the toolbox talks section Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We like the ease of use for our non-techie employees. The abundance of reports & job tracking abilities is great. They have reasonable pricing options unless you want a certain module (like toolbox talks), then you're forced to have a bunch of sluff you do not use, to get 1 feature, instead of breaking it down ala-cart. What drives me and my employees bonkers is how often they change the format for both the office and the field users. We constantly waste time trying to find a feature that was there a week ago and it's gone. Or the path of access has changed. Lastly, which has me seeking another option for our business is how they eliminate a report or simple summary of hours for a specific period that I've been billing clients with for months. It's like having to change my entire billing format because they randomly delete a summary report without replacing it with a new summary report. The changes that do not improve the usage are both annoying and stupid in my opinion! There is no longer a clean way to bill a T&M project that is easy for the client to understand, and that is just a bummer! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Raken is a very diversified program. It allows you to keep track and log all aspects of your project while you are working in the field. There is no need to make notes, go back to your computer upload photos relative to your notes. Raken is an amazing time saving device ( I call it a device ) allowing me to never miss any action on the job site. As a superintendent, my job is in the field not in office, Raken allows me to do it all right out with the boys. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only dislike is just an issue with web service, other than that no
Problems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I am able to go back to a project and add more photos and notes Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

My favorite part of using Raken is the documentation. So many times I have needed to go back to pull info or photos from previous dates and Raken makes this possible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish the App had a few more customizable features with materials and equipment. It would be great to customize portions of the report to reflect project specifics. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like that I can take photos and quick notes on the App and then can go back to my computer to provide more details to the reports. We looked at several other apps prior to buying Raken and they were no where as good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
They need a section for a Punch List. We have started using the Tasks sections for creating a punch list but it is limited. A Punch list section would be great! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I find that Raken is an excellent foremate to relay the same information to multiple clients, therefore saving my time for other job related activities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
You need to increase it recognizable vocabulary,I have to spell out Latrine every time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I did like how easy it was to use the application and accurately record my daily progress Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
However, w every "update" the app is less useful. Recently the geniuses in the IT decided to order comments alphabetically tho not remotely applicable to construction to alphabetize comments. I did try to issue a "bug report" but the service is not employing construction experienced professionals so that was hopeless. I have a license. My reports are bound in a close out for developers and clients. There is zero reason or sense for an application to reorganize my report. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
