## Radar Reviews
  ### 1. Excellent partners in creating valuable customer experiences for our customers!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeff P. | Director of Digital Product Management, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 28, 2022

**What do you like best about Radar?**

I enjoy partnering with the Radar team the most because they are genuinely interested in delivering value to our customers and success for our brand. Radar's technology is sound and is core to our strategy of enabling location-based experiences to provide our customers what they what, when they want it, and where they want it. Integrations with our client applications and customer data platform have been easy for our team.

**What do you dislike about Radar?**

I haven't been displeased by anything in my experience with Radar. I'm glad we selected them as partners, and we are moving forward to discover and create experiences that customers love and that deliver value for our business.

**What problems is Radar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One user flow is often not relevant in all physical locations, which leads to confusion and inefficiency. Confusion and inefficiency add friction for our customers. The main benefit we have realized is that we have learned a lot more about our customer behavior, which has unlocked new ideas on how to satisfy their wants and expecations.

  ### 2. Radar is exactly what we wanted to fulfill our requirements around customer store/curbside pickup.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kiran B. | Lead Engineer - Mobile, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2022

**What do you like best about Radar?**

Simple to integrate and has a great tech support team. Integration with other tools like airship etc.

**What do you dislike about Radar?**

SSO timeout was 15 min, but thankfully, it is changed now to 24 hours(not sure but more than 15 min).

**What problems is Radar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With the pandemic, we wanted a quick and plug-and-play solution to achieve the store/curbside pickup. Radar gave us that, and we were able to deliver it to our customers a lot quicker.

  ### 3. Great product and even better experience!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2022

**What do you like best about Radar?**

As an engineer, Radar was very easy to work with, and their integration team was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable.

**What do you dislike about Radar?**

Other than wanting a few nice-to-have features, I didn't dislike anything.

**What problems is Radar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are geolocating users, geocoding address, and finding distances. Radar gives us the insight into these features needed to create a seamless experience.

  ### 4. Easy to use and great support team

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Sports | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2022

**What do you like best about Radar?**

We’re really happy we chose Radar as our geofencing provider at Sleeper. The integration with the rest of our tech stack was a breeze, well-documented and easy to follow. The live dashboard is simple to navigate and helpful for QA and onboarding, which saved engineering time.

**What do you dislike about Radar?**

One of the newer providers, so it takes time to build trust and reputation in the industry

**What problems is Radar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Geo detection and geofencing

  ### 5. Very accommodating, supportive partner

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lizzie L. | Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2019

**What do you like best about Radar?**

Radar has been a great partner for Ibotta. The integration went smoothly and Radar has continued to be very supportive of our initiatives. We've worked closely with them as they develop their product and introduce new and exciting features. They've accommodated our location technology needs as we work to elevate our product and marketing campaigns using Radar.

**What do you dislike about Radar?**

Given how young Radar is as a company, some other location context companies are a little more developed in terms of their product features, insights, and AI integrations. I am eager to see Radar continue to grow and advance their product offering. Radar is working to improve their dashboard and reporting as well, which is an exciting enhancement we are looking forward to leveraging.

**What problems is Radar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Radar has allowed us to move away from our in-house location marketing technology to a more robust and reliable service. With Radar, we are able to curate tailored programming that is timely and relevant to our user's current location and behaviors. As a lifecycle marketer, these abilities are critical for creating engaging and personalized user journeys.

  ### 6. Location modules with high accuracy which works straight away

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anjali S. | Full Stack Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 28, 2020

**What do you like best about Radar?**

Multi-platform integration (iOS & Android both) with quick support and great geofencing ability in Radar is my most liked feature in it.

**What do you dislike about Radar?**

Nothing as such is dislikeable as of now. I will update review if I find anything daunting.

**Recommendations to others considering Radar:**

Don't think, just go for it!

**What problems is Radar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Personalized user journey and recommendations according to geolocation can be implemented like a breeze in it. It completely takes away the implementation load.

  ### 7. Engaged experience using the location modules of radar

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Venkatesh N. | Fullstack Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 02, 2020

**What do you like best about Radar?**

Geofencing feature of the radar with front end integration

**What do you dislike about Radar?**

Minimum radius to create fence and check the on change function

**Recommendations to others considering Radar:**

Best for the location modules rather than tidy google APIs and other location. Offering parties

**What problems is Radar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helped us address the polygon fencing that we are trying to create from scratch . Now with radar the amount of effort has drastically decreased and we are now having strong support.

  ### 8. Quick to implement and works straight away

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Virgile B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 06, 2020

**What do you like best about Radar?**

The integration on both iOS and Android has been really quick
Customer Support looks quick and efficient

**What do you dislike about Radar?**

None - All seems good so far I'll update the review if anything comes up

**What problems is Radar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Radar to get the location of our users while they use our platform (CubicLease), providing on-demand viewings of properties to rent/buy

  ### 9. Great product that continues to improve

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Trent B. | Director of Engineering, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2019

**What do you like best about Radar?**

Radar has all the tools to make using their service successful. There is no messing with half baked api's. Their dashboards are intuitive and easy to use. What I have appreciated most about working with Radar has been their responsiveness to questions. We have a direct slack channel where we can jump into whenever we have a question and they get back to us right away. They were also able to do some custom work for us to allow us to pull down reports that we needed on our end.

**What do you dislike about Radar?**

I don't really have any complains at this moment. Location services are about to be brought into the light on mobile platforms but Radar provides our users with a real benefit and it makes sense for us to use their service.

**What problems is Radar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Radar to create geo fences around all of our poi's to remind our users to use our app when they enter the geo fence. We can then push them deals on this service as well.

  ### 10. Great team and product

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cassie F. | Associate Manager, Marketing Automation, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2019

**What do you like best about Radar?**

Radar is consistently upgrading their product and adding new features which allow us to target and personalize our comms in new and exciting ways. The Radar team is super helpful with giving us ideas for how to use new and current features, and also taking our feedback and features that'd we'd like to see and working on those.

**What do you dislike about Radar?**

Sometimes there is a lack of information of why user's locations were not picked up at all, picked up in the wrong place, or in a timely manner.

**What problems is Radar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have been able to create new, timely, and engaging campaigns for our user base that wouldn't be possible without Radar. Sending timely reminders about our product is critical for our business and we have seen increased behavior of one of the most important metrics to our company because of our use of Radar.

  ### 11. Awesome team to work with

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2019

**What do you like best about Radar?**

The team at Radar is really, really awesome. Super responsive, really engaged, really helpful and have even come up with ideas with us for ways we can use the platform

**What do you dislike about Radar?**

While we have a bunch of use cases live that we think are the right ones to have live, we haven't yet reached a positive ROI.

**What problems is Radar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Because of geofencing, we're able to get in front of users as they are entering a gas station and can send timely messages to them about actions we want them to take at stations. Radar has helped us segment our audience based on where they are and what they are visiting. We've turned out location based marketing to get retail deals in front of users as well.

  ### 12. State of the art Geo-based solutions

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2019

**What do you dislike about Radar?**

We didn't face any issue with Radar so far

**Recommendations to others considering Radar:**

We did an advanced benchmark with real life cases to understand the service quality of the top players on the market, and Radar had outstanding results.

**What problems is Radar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Avoided internal costs of developing an in-house solution
- Optimisation of the user experience based on the intelligence they are deriving from the raw data

  ### 13. Radar is reliable, accurate, and valuable

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chad B. | SVP Product, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2019

**What do you like best about Radar?**

The Radar SDK was easy to implement. The Radar team is highly accessible and cares deeply about your success with the SDK.

**What do you dislike about Radar?**

No major issues. Everything has been fine so far.

**What problems is Radar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our iOS and Android mobile apps help shoppers save money when they shop. We use Radar o help identify when a shopper with our mobile app is inside a particular store. We can then take action to improve the in store saving experience.

  ### 14. Exceptional product with a high-touch developer experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 16, 2019

**What do you like best about Radar?**

- Drop-in SDK with excellent documentation
- Incredible onboarding and support experience
- Proactive feature development alongside new iOS/Android versions
- Forward-thinking thought leadership on geolocation and privacy

**What do you dislike about Radar?**

There’s nothing to dislike; the Radar team and product have always exceeded our expectations.

**What problems is Radar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a way to remind our customers when they were nearby our merchant partners, while maintaining their data privacy. With the Radar SDK, we were able to gather not only the most accurate geofence data versus any competitor, but also incredible insights about how and when our customers were using our app. It feels like the Radar team is constantly building out new functionality to support use cases we hadn’t even considered yet. They were readily available to answer any questions we had and supported our developers every step of the (very streamlined) integration process.

  ### 15. Great Service, Easy to Use!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 22, 2019

**What do you like best about Radar?**

Radar's API was awesome to work with, and had great documentation. The service itself worked extremely well (better than competitors) in practice also. The UI was intuitive, and customer support was always there if we ran into any set-up issues or questions.

**What do you dislike about Radar?**

I can't really say I disliked anything about the service. I can see people maybe not wanting to receive so many events, but that's very easy to code around or tweak settings to avoid.

**What problems is Radar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We wanted to know when users were close to a location that they could spend money at one of our supported retailers. We could then remind the user to shop there. We were able to successfully set-up geofences across the country for our supported retailers and improve customer utilization of our product.

  ### 16. Radar was there to help at every step

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jonathan G. | Co Founder & CEO, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 06, 2019

**What do you like best about Radar?**

Radar was there to help us integrate at every step. They even made several suggestions on how to best implement radar as well as other features the could support.

**What do you dislike about Radar?**

Wish they had some the great features they support now earlier on!

**What problems is Radar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Radar allowed us to easily create geofences around all the locations that a user had favorited in the app allowing us to send our users simple notifications when they're near a location they had saved.

  ### 17. Partnering with Radar to Enhance Customer Experience

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 23, 2019

**What do you like best about Radar?**

Ability to see customer behavior using location data and tie that back to spending. Radar team is actively involved in the process making sure the program is set up for success.

**What do you dislike about Radar?**

We have worked with the Radar team for almost a year and don't really have much we don't like. Only comment would be is leaning what data we are not capturing, but that is part of the learning curve.

**What problems is Radar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Targeted Push Notifications
Customer Behavior - closer to 360 view of customer

  ### 18. Reliable location tracking solution

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2019

**What do you like best about Radar?**

The Radar technology was very easy to integrate into our application and has provided reliable location tracking across our user base while keeping battery usage to a minimum.

**What do you dislike about Radar?**

A more robust places database with more features to pull nearby places on demand would be very helpful.

**What problems is Radar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our application benefits greatly from understanding when a user is visiting a store. This allows us to tailor our communications to our users and surface the most relevant content at the optimal times.
