I like that Qwoted alerts me when there are opportunities relevant to my background and expertise. I appreciate that it's a messaging platform where I can actually message back and forth with journalists, outside of email. I can understand when they've read my pitches and how many pitches they've received, which is information not available in other services like HARO. To my surprise, I immediately received an automated response saying my account was terminated due to "negative feedback" and that I wasn’t a good fit for the platform — even though I haven’t used Qwoted in over two years. Basically they disabled my account 2 days after i bought the premium subscription. I messaged support multiple times over 2 days, as i had already put in a lot of work to write up responses. I hired a contractor to help me find pitches and spent money on that too. Only to not be able to quote someone after spening 30min writing a pitch, then being locked out of my account. Also, because of the quantity of queries, it can be difficult to distinquish the high-value outlets from the less reputable ones without leaving the plaform and doing our own research.
