## QuickBooks Workforce Reviews
 ### 1. One-Click Payroll That Handles Direct Deposits and Tax Filings

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brian M. | Office Manager / Administrator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2026

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Workforce?**

I like that I only have to enter time, OT, and bonuses, then click “Submit Payroll,” and everything is handled for me. That includes direct deposits, 941s (deposits and quarterly filings) and 940s, plus state withholdings and local withholding filings.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Workforce?**

I don’t like that the filing forms mentioned in the prior answer aren’t automatically emailed to me. Instead, I have to remember to log in and retrieve them for our printed files, and then save or scan them for our electronic records in case QuickBooks is no longer our payroll program.

**What problems is QuickBooks Workforce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The answer to this question is really in my answer to the first question. QBOPR lets me enter time, overtime, and bonuses and then forget about it. After that, I can move on to other things on my plate instead of revisiting the same details. Overall, it makes the whole process much less time-consuming.

 ### 2. Easy Setup, Strong Privacy, and Time-Saving Payroll at a Great Price

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Denyse C. | Ticket Sales Staff, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Workforce?**

It was easy to set up and it is easy to use. I like the process of direct tax transfer as well. I like the privacy protections of having staff enter their own personal information. The generation of W-2s and payroll vouchers is simple and saves time. We have been working on integrating our donation system to QBO. The availability of FAQs and live support is also a good feature. We are able to work in a collaborative environment to manage our finances and maintaining our security protocols. For the price it is a great bargain.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Workforce?**

Our only concern has been the inability to set an alternative payday while using the twice a month pay schedule. We experienced a reverting to the default days when the software is updated. To avoid that we set up every other week pay schedule which now uses the default set up.

**What problems is QuickBooks Workforce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have accurate on time pay, direct deposit and accurate easy to create tax forms and reports. All has saved us lots of time from doing these things manually.

 ### 3. Streamlines Payroll, Needs Better Integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kathy F. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2026

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Workforce?**

I like doing payroll in QuickBooks Payroll because it handles all the updates, legal changes, and taxes for me. I have no fear of inaccuracy or missing something important. I like that it is easy and reminds me of tasks that need to be done, especially at the end of the year, as it lists everything I need to do and the timeframe it needs to be done in. The initial setup seemed easy enough.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Workforce?**

At one time Payroll was integrated into QuickBooks Desktop and worked seamlessly with it. Now I have to import it. Sometimes this doesn't work well. It is easily forgotten which can cause financial troubles and it's an unnecessary hassle. I would love for it to be a part of my desktop application again.

**What problems is QuickBooks Workforce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

QuickBooks Payroll handles updates, legal changes, and taxes, giving me confidence in accuracy. It reminds me of tasks, especially year-end, and lists what needs to be done and when.

 ### 4. Efficient Payroll Processing with Complete Tax Handling

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Margie H. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Workforce?**

I find QuickBooks Payroll makes setting up payroll quick and easy. I love that it lets me select pay recipients and offers various methods for sending paychecks, like hourly or salary, which fits our needs well. The ability to track different types of leave time, like annual, sick, and vacation, is really helpful, and employees can see their accrued leave time on their paycheck stubs. It does everything we need a payroll to do. I really appreciate how it calculates and takes care of the taxes for me, saving me the time and hassle. I also love having everything together in one system for both payroll and bookkeeping, as it automatically rolls over into the bookkeeping and streamlines everything. It was really easy to set up with the step-by-step directions, ensuring everything works smoothly.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Workforce?**

I have no complaints at this time.

**What problems is QuickBooks Workforce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use QuickBooks Payroll to set up payroll quickly, choose who gets paid, and track leave time. It simplifies my bookkeeping by integrating payroll and record-keeping, making the process smoother as a bookkeeper and payroll clerk.

 ### 5. Easy-to-Use Quickbooks with Always-Helpful Support and Smooth Payroll

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Susan T. | Administrative Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2026

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Workforce?**

Easy to use and easy to understand. If I have a question about anything, their staff is always available and willing to help me through any situation. Payroll is easy to enter...Quickbooks makes sure I haven't skipped or overlooked anything...and regardless of how many people I have payroll for in a weeks time it keeps me up to date on each employee. Cost is incomparable!!

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Workforce?**

There is nothing I don't like about Quickbooks!!

**What problems is QuickBooks Workforce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Quickbooks Payroll, I don’t have any problems—they handle everything, and that saves me a lot of time and energy.

 ### 6. Exceptional HR and Payroll Solution with Outstanding Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alexander K. | CEO and CTO

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2025

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Workforce?**

I find GoCo's embedded payroll to be really convenient, especially when used with the built-in time and attendance application. The employee onboarding experience is excellent, and the workflows help standardize processes effectively. It's great for storing employee documents and updating them efficiently. I love GoCo's excellent customer service, which provides timely responses. Navigation is really simple, making it easy to train new employees. The abundance of features allows for easy integration into many company operations. Their partnership with JazzHR for applicant tracking and the collaboration with Gusto for payroll processing are also quite beneficial. The seamless integration with Google for SSO is another aspect I enjoy. The Time Off application saves a lot of time by simplifying the management of balances and accruals, thanks to its integration with Time & Attendance and Payroll applications. The availability of many configuration options, along with ongoing improvements, makes using GoCo a very positive experience. Their support team was wonderful during the setup, allowing us to get up and running within six weeks.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Workforce?**

I'd like to see the benefits configuration opened up to customers so that I don't have to submit a support ticket any time I need a change. We have a policy that limits the amount of time that an employee can use per year, and that's the only configuration option in the Time Off application that is not (yet) available.

**What problems is QuickBooks Workforce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

GoCo simplifies payroll with its embedded system, provides excellent onboarding, standardizes workflows, and is great for document management. It integrates well with JazzHR and reduces redundant data entry, saving us time. The benefits platform streamlines open enrollment and payroll deductions, improving overall efficiency.

 ### 7. Convenient Connection to QB's Online

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Mental Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 10, 2026

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Workforce?**

I like the convenience of its connection to QB's Online.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Workforce?**

The costs have continued to creep upward. I’d really like pricing to stabilize so the product remains usable and sustainable for our businesses.

I would also like to see Quickbooks add HIPAA compliance to their system.

**What problems is QuickBooks Workforce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Payroll processing has been much easier to use than when we were with our prior payroll company. They have made it easier for our employees to access the paystubs and yearend tax forms digitally. Customer service is challenging at times to reach due to a few layers you have to through to get the correct department.

 ### 8. One-Click Payroll Entry Makes Payday Easy

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ms. Cheri D. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2026

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Workforce?**

entering payroll is only one click, even with hourly employees

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Workforce?**

In just one year, the price went from $24.00 a month to $80.00 a month, even though nothing about my business changed.

**What problems is QuickBooks Workforce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It doesn’t really solve any problems for me.

 ### 9. Effortless Payroll with Seamless Time Card Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zach H. | Office Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2026

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Workforce?**

Ease of running payroll because it links with the time cards. I have to get involved fairly minimally.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Workforce?**

Too many ads/pushes for AI generated automation.

**What problems is QuickBooks Workforce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Saves time for processing payroll as well as tax documents.

 ### 10. Clean, User-Friendly UI Makes GoCo a Breeze

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 10, 2025

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Workforce?**

The user interface is clean, and the system itself is intuitive and easy to pick up.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Workforce?**

Deputy includes a feature that lets staff offer up shifts and alerts others when there are open shifts or shifts needing coverage. Incorporating a similar feature would make GoCo a more comprehensive, all-in-one platform. Additionally, it's not possible to customize pay period date ranges unless you use their payroll system and get help from the support team.

**What problems is QuickBooks Workforce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bringing together time tracking and timesheets within a single platform has streamlined the staff experience, making everything accessible in one place. The ability to manage staffing shifts directly in the system, where staff can view their schedules and request changes, is very helpful. Additionally, it is easy for staff to update and manage their own information, which adds to the overall convenience.

 ### 11. The most bungled SaaS implementation I've ever endured

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephen H. | CEO / Co-Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2025

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Workforce?**

For the most part the product is intuitive to use.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Workforce?**

The implementation, the support and transition, we felt completely bait and switched. Our implementation advisor ghosted us, despite nice assurances upon the signing process. Post implementation we certainly had some good people we worked with, but we're constantly working through a generic support channel that gets no response to our issues. And we've had a number of issues since we onboarded. The only way to get a response is to call several times, and then get told "our team is working on a response right now". That excuse may work once, but not multiple times.

I was told 3 business days before payroll (our first payroll on Goco) was due that I couldn't file an expedited ticket because it had to be 2 days. We hadn't even confirmed our payroll cycles yet, and I couldn't even get a human to get us to help when we were on a crunch. Luckily, I had my old provider to fall back on. But if I hadn't we would have missed payroll.

I would say that the service was misrepresented. Goco told us they integrated with our 401k provider. We found out after converting that they don't. There is so much I can add. But I would have gotten more assurances about integrations and processes in writing instead of on a video meeting. And I should have found another solution at the first sign of trouble.

To this day, for some basic support issues my team is having problems.

**What problems is QuickBooks Workforce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helped with HR automation.

 ### 12. Connected to Accounting Software, but Not User-Friendly

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amanda L. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2026

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Workforce?**

It's connected to our accounting software

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Workforce?**

Very un user friendly. No humans to talk to unless you pay for support.

**What problems is QuickBooks Workforce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Getting employees paid, not having to use an outside agency.

 ### 13. Absolutely EXCELLENT HRMS for small business

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maria A. | Accountant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2025

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Workforce?**

The platform is comprehensive but you only pay for the services you use. The platform for HR Professionals is superb, easy to navigate and full of helpful information. The onboarding process is outstanding - the team of people are well versed in their onboarding subject areas, responsive and thorough. They went above and beyond to help us initiate our payroll process quickly to avoid duplicate charges for both carriers. The GoCo Academy is an excellent ongoing resource that we've already gone back to since we started. It's a foundation for orientation in a small business like ours without a dedicated HR professional on staff. So our complete cutover and implementation of all the features within the timeframe of transition wasn't feasible - and we want to use some of the new features that we didn't have time yet to fully develop. But we are absolutely certain that as we have that time, we have a team of knowledgeable, helpful professionals we can rely upon. Someone is logging into GoCo every day for one reason or another, and any small issues we've had onboarding employees or whatever have been remediated within 24 hours of support request. I've already had a colleague from another non-profit implement GoCo for their company!

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Workforce?**

The payroll reports from the imbedded Gusto payroll processor are REALLY basic and kinda messy. You can create your own custom reports, but that's not completely intuitive either. So far, that's the only feature we're not thrilled with.

**What problems is QuickBooks Workforce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

GoCo has streamlined access to all employee data. It's helped us provide greater access by employees to their own HR data. The HR Professionals platform has a wealth of information to help us enhance and improve our job descriptions and employee manuals, and it has helpful state-specific matters you might need to know right at your fingertips. It's all the benefits of a consultant without the huge monthly cost to go along with it.

 ### 14. Easy to Use, Seamless Integration with QuickBooks and TurboTax

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam W. | Veterinary Care Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Workforce?**

Easy to use. It integrates really well with other QuickBooks applications and makes doing taxes feel more seamless with TurboTax.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Workforce?**

Doesn’t work well for timekeeping and scheduling.

**What problems is QuickBooks Workforce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy to integrate with other Intuit platforms.

 ### 15. Go with GoCo!!!!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Charisse R. | Executive Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 10, 2025

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Workforce?**

Our nonprofit has experienced extreme growth over the last few years. We hired our first HR Manager a few months ago. I began searching for an HRIS and decided on GoCo. I was impressed by the work done on the front end which consisted of months of in depth prep with our HR Manager. The many features are still a plus! Our HR Manager has told me many times how glad she is we chose GoCo. Lastly having an actual person to call is the icing on top!!!!

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Workforce?**

The only downside I have en countered really is not a GoCo issue it’s an ADP issue when setting up payroll sync. We are months in and still ADP is not reflecting the info in GoCo.

**What problems is QuickBooks Workforce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Previously we had no HRIS so having all things HR related in one place has been amazing! Instead of various supervisors keeping their own records and documentation we now have everything in one place with GoCo!

 ### 16. Effortless Payroll with QuickBooks, Great Organization!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Phaedra M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Workforce?**

I really like how QuickBooks Payroll helps with organization. I'm overall very happy with QuickBooks Payroll. The initial setup was very easy.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Workforce?**

I miss the QuickBooks Payroll app that used to be offered.

**What problems is QuickBooks Workforce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

QuickBooks Payroll helps with organization and assists in weekly payroll processing.

 ### 17. Fantastic Support and a Great Payroll System

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rhiannon D. | Payroll & HR Administrator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2025

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Workforce?**

My favorite thing about GoCo is the support, hands down. If I have an issue or there is an error, they are on top of it and have always gotten me a resolution. Another great feature is the grid payroll system which makes it easy to edit individual lines and go back to correct, if needed. Onboarding new hires is done in a snap due to the workflows and well organized system. Our company setup was super easy and GoCo did all of the work. We plan to use integrations as we become more comfortable with using the system. The Quickbooks integration seems very handy. All in all, GoCo is a great system to be using for daily people use, payroll, and company announcements even. Very Satisfied.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Workforce?**

I don't know that I would call it a dislike, because the support team is always ready to jump in, but we have encountered some temporary roadblocks as far as number of pay runs and a few errors here and there. But again, the support team seems to be able to handle anything. They raised the number of pay runs we could use and if I encounter the rare error, a simple re-load usually does the trick.

**What problems is QuickBooks Workforce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

GoCo stepped in when our previous payroll provider shut down. They price matched what we were paying before due to the shutdown and I have found that using GoCo is a much faster and intuitive process than our old platform. Each payroll line had to be loaded individually. GoCo probably cut that time in half at least.

 ### 18. Needs Major Improvements Despite Easy Time Tracking

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 16, 2025

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Workforce?**

It was easy to track time with my staff and the info directly transferred over to payroll.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Workforce?**

For our account, Quickbooks Payroll was automatically turned off for no reason. I've spent numerous hours on the phone to figure out why this happened, and I still have open cases with Quickbooks that have not been resolved since June. This has made it difficult to also find any documentation that was submitted by Quickbooks payroll on behalf of my business (tax documents, etc.).

**What problems is QuickBooks Workforce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At the time, Quickbooks payroll seemed easy to use and navigate.

 ### 19. I was excited to implement GoCo, but there were times, I needed motivation, the staff was there!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kimberly E. | HR Manager,CPS, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 04, 2025

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Workforce?**

For those times, the implementer- assigned to our company did great job, at moving me forward- which was priceless .The Goco Staff was patient, willing to help and to meet over Zoom when that was needed. They are VERY knowledgeable about the HR software. The back side of customizing our organization, was very important! They listened to our specific Non-Profit needs.
I had written material, videos , short "tests" that kept me accountable and on track.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Workforce?**

The times after hours & was stuck on task

**What problems is QuickBooks Workforce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has moved all assets of our HR, employee needs and records to a handy and secure place. Reports that didn't even seem necessary, are know easy to run and informative in company decisions; keeping our team engaged in there work place. All team members can see when I co-worker has a birthday. If one of us has an achievement, each team members can send them "kudos" for a job well done. There is a built in Ai function the employee manual was uploaded and team members can get company regulation answers in a matter of minutes from their profile.
A wonderful feature that we all love that lets everyone get company announcements via a text. On the HR and Admin side, it only takes minutes to prepare and everyone receives it.
Fun contests and challenges can sent to employees to participate. The HR hours buried in paperwork are cut in half and file themselves within the system. It is awesome ! and becoming more than that!

 ### 20. Simple Payroll Solution, Needs Customization

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joana S. | Office Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2026

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Workforce?**

I like QuickBooks Payroll for its simplicity. It makes tasks like payroll setup easy, which I find quite valuable. Additionally, it consolidates our financial records effectively.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Workforce?**

I wish it was more customizable when it comes to employee related items and deductions.

**What problems is QuickBooks Workforce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

QuickBooks Payroll consolidates our financial records and offers simplicity with easy payroll setup.

 ### 21. Used to use this software but switched

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** susan A. | bookkeeper, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2025

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Workforce?**

The best part of this software was that it was with our QuickBokks accounting software and did not have to switch to another platform to process the payroll. It was easy to install, and we used it bi-weekly. Customer support was hard to communicate with. There is no extra intergration, as the payroll feature is already avaialble in QBs you just have to get it turned on and pay the fees.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Workforce?**

Setting up this software with employees information took a long time. It was not as user friendly as the rest of QBs is. Having some employees who were on salary and some hourly made it more difficult to add in the taxes for each. And we had to file our own taxes. Customer support is done by people who are located out of our country, which made it hard to sometimes understand what they said and it took them a long time to respond. We use QuickBooks and love it, but the payroll side needs much improvement.

**What problems is QuickBooks Workforce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have switched from this payroll method. So it is not doing anything for us

 ### 22. Ease of Use Regarding - Uploaded Onboarding Documents

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sandy H. | Facilities Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2025

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Workforce?**

I appreciate not having to search our shared docs on our company server nor have to find the docs on my computer drive. Log-In to GoCo is so easy and the employee handbook that was uploaded when I electronically signed my onboarding documentation was readily available.
The ease of integration from my onboarding process to the saved materials in the GoCo site is wonderful. There is no confusing process to refer back to our company policies and protocols, when using GoCo.
I have frequently used GoCo, so that I do not have to search for the docs I need nor bother our HR Department as a new hire! I get the answers I need immediately!! Love, love, love it! (SH)

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Workforce?**

2 Factor authentication
I wish there was a way to link my device (IP Address) as a remembered device when using the GoCo app instead of the traditional desktop site. The desktop site is easier to quickly navigate the login. (SH)

**What problems is QuickBooks Workforce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Not Applicable

 ### 23. I Have Used At Least Seven Payroll Services and Quickbooks Online Is the Most Work

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 22, 2026

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Workforce?**

The only thing I like about Quickbooks Payroll is that I'm already logged into it when I use Quickbooks. That is it.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Workforce?**

I dislike almost everything about it. I dislike the experience of setting up a new employee. I dislike the way tax filings and payments are handled. I dislike the reporting. I dislike the customer service. I have zero trust in the platform and if I could move every single client away from it, I would.

**What problems is QuickBooks Workforce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It isn't solving any problem that other payroll services don't solve better.

 ### 24. Super easy!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bree P. | Office manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 26, 2025

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Workforce?**

The setup is quick and simple, user-friendly, allows for customization (within reason), and integrates with the rest of my software already!

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Workforce?**

I wish there were a time clock that integrates with QB payroll. I have to manually calculate and enter the employees' timecards.

**What problems is QuickBooks Workforce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Processing payroll can be a headache especially if you wear many hats in the company. QB Payroll eases some of the burden of doing payroll every other week.

 ### 25. Easy Multi-Employee Payroll Processing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Valery B. | Staff Accountant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2026

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Workforce?**

I like how easy it is to process payroll for multiple employees.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Workforce?**

The mapping with quickbooks payroll doesn't match sometimes.

**What problems is QuickBooks Workforce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Processing and tracking and matching payroll.

 ### 26. Transparent

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris S. | Project Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 18, 2025

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Workforce?**

Our company uses multiple, unhelpful, dashboards for different aspects of the organization -- except GoCo. Everything int he user interface is very clearly labeled and in a place where my eye expects it to be. In addition, the actual usage of the different form fields doesn't have any hidden redundancy that requires understanding the labyrinth of features to know how to make simple changes to the database that shows across different dashboards. I have never had a need for customer support, and couldn't comment on that accurately -- but I imagine that if their CSR are as helpful as GoCo is effective, then there will never be an issue. I would consider the ease of the design and implementation transparent in the sense that I don't struggle to find my way to the features I need to use -- as if I were looking through a window.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Workforce?**

For what I use GoCo for, I do not have anything that I dis like, per se. If I had to choose, and this may be a ffunction of the way GoCo is deployed by our company, the length of the self-assessment forms seems unreasonable and asks questions that can't be substantiated. I use GoCo maybe once a week or once a month to enter travel requests and track other aspects of my professional life that are integrated with billing and human resources management.

**What problems is QuickBooks Workforce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

GoCo automates the input and tracking of time and plan benefits. This relieves me of the need to get on lengthy calls with HR or email floods to provide the information they need to make sure things are on the up-and-up.

 ### 27. Aesthetically Pleasing, Well Organized, and Easy to Use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Wholesale | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2025

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Workforce?**

This system is great for doing onboarding and document collection. It has helped to save me a lot of time and work, and keeps the processes consistent.
GoCo also saves me a lot of headaches by being an all-inclusive HR software. I like not having to use more than one system. I use GoCo daily.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Workforce?**

GoCo doesn’t offer its own payroll system so I do have to use another system for that. Also, GoCo's reporting is pretty basic, so not great for advanced data insights.

**What problems is QuickBooks Workforce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

GoCo streamlines and automates our HR tasks such as onboarding, benefits, and document organization to save me time and make things more accurate. This has helped us stay organized and improve compliance.

 ### 28. Exceptionally Easy to Use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Royce W. | Accountant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2025

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Workforce?**

I like that it integrates with QBO. It isn't as efficient as some other 3rd party payroll systems.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Workforce?**

It's reporting isn't as clear as some other payroll reporting systems.

**What problems is QuickBooks Workforce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It assists with managing payroll. I like QBO as whole, and that QBO is seamless integrating.

 ### 29. Easy transition to GoCo HR Platform

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 06, 2025

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Workforce?**

I enjoyed how easy it was to change our agency's HR system to GoCo. The GoCo team took care of everything and kept me in the loop during the transition with progress emails. Their HR system is also a great value, giving us more features to use with staff for only a few dollars more per month.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Workforce?**

I disliked that when I needed help completing a task that I couldn't find in their library of help resources that I couldn't get someone live on the phone to walk me through how to do what I need.

**What problems is QuickBooks Workforce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

GoCo is solving employee time tracking and assisting with our required legal documentation.

 ### 30. Choppy Experience and Frequent Fixes Undermine Supportive Team

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2025

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Workforce?**

The incredible team that answers questions quickly when in a hurry to submit payroll

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Workforce?**

It was very choppy, if that makes sense. It didn't flow accurately. It seemed like there was always something different that needed fixed or repaired. So much so that we had to have a weekly meeting. Also, Execupay is horrible to work with

**What problems is QuickBooks Workforce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Unfortunately, it became too late to fix all the issues we were having and we ended up leaving GoCo. Benefits were a nightmare in GoCo. We calculated them by hand each pay period because it was so messed up

 ### 31. GoCo HRIS Review: Powerful HR, Paperless Simplicity

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2025

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Workforce?**

GoCo is a modern, clean, and highly effective HRIS that focuses on bringing a white-glove service experience to mid-market and growing small businesses. It shines as a centralized hub for all employee data, heavily focused on automation and paperless processes.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Workforce?**

I don't have any complaints. I really like everything about GoCo. It was an amazing software experience.

**What problems is QuickBooks Workforce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

GoCo transforms the HR function from a team bogged down in administration and paperwork into a strategic, efficient, and employee-focused partner.

 ### 32. Go Pro with GoCo!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarah F. | Director of HR & Payroll, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 02, 2024

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Workforce?**

GoCo helps to boost efficiency in managing HR aspects. It's user-friendly and easy to navigate and the automation offered is the best part. It has helped me streamline my HR processes and boost the productivity of my staff.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Workforce?**

One of my dislikes was that if I were to integrate QBO to sync new hires, it would only work from GoCo to QBO and not the other way around as well.

**What problems is QuickBooks Workforce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was able to adjust PTO tracking with the assistance of our assigned reps.

 ### 33. Human Resources

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hollie P. | Human Resource Manager, Human Resources, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 09, 2025

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Workforce?**

It is user friendly. It does not take long to train someone on how to use Quickbooks desktop.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Workforce?**

I dislike that I can not pull up a job for a customer and add multiple employees to timesheets.

**What problems is QuickBooks Workforce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is easy for us to keep up with our customer jobs.

 ### 34. Horrific experience, 6 weeks and still can't pay the CEO

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarah S. | Chief Operating Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 03, 2025

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Workforce?**

George in payroll is kind. He has been the only person to be communicative and helpful

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Workforce?**

Everything. I could begin at the transition from Trinet where they didn't uphold the discount as we were to 'exceed' their minimum annual $3k despite needing half this level of service.

Then the transition was a jumble, poor communication, gaslighting me to use their videos only until I pointed out it's not in any video would I get a helpful reply.

We have STILL NOT BEEN able to pay our CEO after 3 bi-monthly payroll periods as they can't seem to solve an import error they made on S Corp benefits. It's been nothing short of the most hellacious experience and tens of hours of my (COO) time and many others. I have zero confidence we will get this resolved, I believe our tax accuracy is at a huge risk and I have waited DAYS for a reply and finally ran my third payroll skipping our top 2 executives due to inaccuracy in tax accounting on GoCo's side.

AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

**What problems is QuickBooks Workforce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

NONE, see my previous review!! It has made more problems

 ### 35. Great Team & Software

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Juliana S. | HR Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 22, 2024

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Workforce?**

From the sales/marketing inital meetings, to the ease of implementation, to the amazing continunig support crew, GoCo employees and its software are helpful, friendly, thorough, easy, and fun! Both the desktop and mobile versions of GoCo are very much user friendly, creatively designed, and easy to learn.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Workforce?**

GoCo is very much a-la-carte as far as features and pricing, which is great, but it also has it's draw backs. I wish more was included in the TimeOff Request feature/pricing.

**What problems is QuickBooks Workforce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

GoCo is our very first electronic HRIS, time tracking management, and time-off requests management. We have moved closer to the digitial age! It's allowing us to be more accountable with time spent on the clock, overtime, etc, helping us manage time-off leaves more efficiently, getting us closer to being compliant with our HRIS process, and it has definitley cut down our payroll process by half!

 ### 36. Not a very good choice

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Richard H. | Sole proprietor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 03, 2025

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Workforce?**

It was relatively easy to use. But wasn't secure. Found there were easily mimics they could be big trouble.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Workforce?**

Found it was being used in various unethical scenarios.

**What problems is QuickBooks Workforce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing payroll, this was a mock trial for possible future deployment when and if growth occurs

 ### 37. Everything all rolled into one!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Management Consulting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 10, 2025

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Workforce?**

In my experience using GoCo, I really like how easy it is to clock in and out using my phone or my computer it just takes a couple of seconds. Everything I need to help me do my work is right there in the workflow section, like submit an invoice or upload a PO order or just order myself new work shirts. It has truly streamlined our processes and I genuinely enjoy using it. Thank you for providing such an invaluable tool!

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Workforce?**

I wish I was able to correct my timesheet whenever I enter something incorrectly or may have missed a punch. That would be my only complaint. Other than that its great!

**What problems is QuickBooks Workforce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It saves time on messy timesheets and having to redo them. Making it easier on our payroll dept and our district managers

 ### 38. So far so good

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Susan A. | Vice President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Workforce?**

The customer service has been exceptional! In addition, the app/website is intuitive and easy to use

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Workforce?**

So far I haven't found much to dislike. The only feature is that my employees cant modify an already approved time off. Such as changing the hours or deleting the time off.

**What problems is QuickBooks Workforce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

keeping track of time off and employee personal info. We will also begin using for HR one on ones and reviews.

 ### 40. Easy to use, intuitive, comprehensive

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amy S. | Permanent Supportive Housing Supervisor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 08, 2024

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Workforce?**

GoCo is incredibly intuitive and easy to use. The interface is visually appealing and natural to work through; the placement of the menu and the design of the pages makes it both comfortable and sensible.
When testing different products to choose from, GoCo was by far the best option sampled; the most comprehensive, very succinct, and was an easy first choice.
Workflows are smooth to transition and progress through, and documents are easy to assemble, sign, and task.
I'm excited to use it now that our organization has chosen to move forward with GoCo.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Workforce?**

The billing/time sheets weren't flexible in the way our current time card system allows for our case managers billing to different grants, but it seemed that HR found a work around.

**What problems is QuickBooks Workforce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a new provider that incorporated our HR/Hiring process, and our billing/time sheets. This incorporates everything for everyone into one place.
