It is easy to use once you learn it, very easy. If you are using the same functions over and over each day you can really learn a lot. The pictures on the screen are also very helpful. They show you exactly what you are looking for and the drop down menu shows you what you are looking for. In my last role I used the same drop downs and the same applications every day so I knew how to use the software very well. Although it is a very easy software to use. It does have a lot of flaws. The software is limited in its use. You as the user have to tailor it to fit your company's needs and it does take a long time to set things up. The software itself does have many glitches as well. It tends to freeze a lot. It also depends on the user's settings and the operating system. It tends to freeze more for certain people than others. I wish this system was more reliable and that it was easier to setup and manage. There are a lot of glitches that need to be fixed. What I like best about this software is it's customization, ease of use, integration with the web portal, and customized reporting and event notifications. Ability to easily move between purchase orders and sales orders as well as being able to look at a specific part to find the companies history on it. I have found that Quantum Control in cases goes into far more detail than expected which is a huge bonus. Being able to visualize everything on a single screen and see how parts, purchase orders, sales orders, invoices, and more are connected is a big time saving tool and very beneficial.
