It makes data sorting, filtering, and sample management effortless. This helps streamline workflows and reduce human error. Tracking data is quick, reliable, and efficient, and the user-friendly interface makes it a joy to use. The UI looks modern and is appealing to the eye. It has many highly flexible tools that can simplify processes. Finally, their customer support/technical account manager team went above and beyond. When we wanted to implement new features, they listened carefully and did what they could to accommodate what we were asking for. Occasionally, it experiences lag and slows down, which can be frustrating. At first, we had a lot of things on our reports that we didn’t need, but never realized we can actually remove/edit them. It feels nice to be able to make it how I want it to be. We also recently made some changes that would help reviewing documents easier. **What do you dislike about QBench?** Nothing that I can think of to improve. **What problems is QBench solving and how is that benefiting you?** It helps organize our clients/samples. There were times where we would forget things such as time or finding out information for the client who forgot fill out the Chain of Custody properly. I feel comfortable knowing the system is reliable, thorough, and backed by a technically skilled team. **What do you dislike about QBench?** There are rarely some cases where a feature or functionality such as certain field customizations are not available, however QBench is constantly updating and improving and more than once those desired features were later implemented soon after providing feedback. **What problems is QBench solving and how is that benefiting you?** QBench, for the purpose of our laboratory, is helping us track our customers, patients, samples, and results. We're also able to securely attach patient-sensitive documents to their server. It helps us organize our test runs and issue reports. Scaling to hundreds of samples per week (with linked sample IDs, customer work zones, and test types) is cumbersome. The platform is modern, flexible, and intuitive, covering all the functionality our lab needs while remaining easy to adapt as we grow. **What do you dislike about QBench?** Honestly, very little. Because our lab has some highly specific workflows, there were moments early on where we needed to fine-tune certain configurations, but the QBench team was always quick to help or develop new solutions. Any challenges we encountered turned into collaborative improvements, which is exactly what you want from a software partner. **What problems is QBench solving and how is that benefiting you?** Before QBench, most of our lab operations were managed through paper forms and Excel spreadsheets — even our invoicing was done manually. Using the code generator ended up being easier, but still time consuming as I did not expect to need coding skills for the project. Due to its customization options, the sky truly is the limit. Our industry is one that is evolving quickly, with rules and regulations changing seemingly every week. QBench offers us the flexibility and the confidence to adapt to these changes and not be "locked in" to a system that quickly is obsoleted. There are also a number of features and modules we find useful including Billing and Quality. The customer support during the implementation process also made me feel "taken care of" and helped expedite the integration of the system into our laboratory. **What do you dislike about QBench?** The customization options of QBench can be both a blessing and a hindrance. Depending on the design and requirements of your test workflows and your programming abilities, QBench can be a challenge at first to get working for your specific needs. The no-code/low-code worksheets are a marginal improvement on the coded versions, but still command a steep learning curve. That beign said I believe the team continues to release updates and new features to aid in the adoption of the system. **What problems is QBench solving and how is that benefiting you?** QBench is the LIMS we use in network of laboratories. It solves the problem of our labs needing to be synchronized and uniform with respect to lab data management despite each lab adhering to regulations which vary wildly from state market to state market. The system is also robust enough to meet strict regulatory requirements regarding data retention, audit trails, and record-keeping. ### 22. It lets me filter through various tests and due dates which is very helpful for our use case. Also it very easy to make filters, input results, and generate COAs. **What do you dislike about QBench?** I think that it could be a lot faster when loading filters, searches, saving, generating COA's, and etc. It takes a few seconds to load anything and sometimes longer. Also the search function could be more intuitive. Typing a sample number, for example, and hitting Enter takes you to another page instead of taking you directly to the sample. It is faster to type on the search bar, wait for the drop down results, and click the sample number on the result than just pressing enter. Also, in the filters menu, when selecting pre-defined date, there are many useful filters such as Today, this week, etc. but there is not a "Tomorrow" filter. Which is what is most useful in my lab as we do samples the day before they are due. Also once it hits 5pm or 4pm depending on the DST, the Today filter starts showing samples due the next day. Worksheet generation in not intuitive. The system to generate has similar functions to other spreadsheet software, but there is definitely a learning curve to create an effective worksheets as a user. Report generation is very similar. QBench is always improving, however, and we have recently found the resources they publish to be more comprehensive and allow for efficient understanding of the new tools. **What problems is QBench solving and how is that benefiting you?** All of our customer information, their respective orders, and the samples and tests tied to that order are automatically assigned unique identifications and tracked throughout the system. We automatically associate test results with their respective tests using the file parsers that pull information out of the excel or csv files that our equipment produces. We also allow customers to access their results via the customer portal, and generate reports automatically when tests are marked complete. Our time spent with manual entry and data errors has effectively been eliminated. ### 27. Our lab is on the smaller side and focused on geochemistry and energy production, so no LIMS is going to be exactly suited to what we need out of the box.
