After testing QANplatform testnet, I quickly realize the potential it has to change the blockchain landscape in the near future. QANplatform offers an easy way for any developer to implement EVM compatible smart contracts in any development language supported by Linux (virtually almost everything). I tested the implementation of smart contracts in javascript, python and solidity and it just works! Learning curve is quite fast and the documentation is quite good in general (not so good for building and deploying smart contracts with Solidity though, but improvements seem to be upcoming according to the team). This capability breaks the barriers for millions of developers that are skilled on many different languages. This way, Web3 and smart contract development can see mass adoption in the near future and companies would be able to start implementing new Web3 projects without the need to find scarce skilled developers in the market, leveraging their existing workforce.

On top of that, the threat of the quantum computing is getting bigger and bigger and the blockchain sector needs a real solution (not just patches to existing blockchains with major consquences to its users). The way QAN platform approaches its quantum-resistant capabilities with xlink is just brilliant. It can be easily adapted to new quantum resitant algorithms, ensuring future-proof security to the QANplatform blockchain.

Being a modern L1 blockchain with an impressive theoretical 155,200,000 TPS, the performance can rival or outperform the most advanced blockchains, currently leading the market. Also, there aren´t many hybrid blockchains available, which is crucial for enabling many new use cases. Other features like predictability of the gas costs and development royalties are just the cherry on the top.

I´ve been developing my NFT marketplace (qbitmarket, currently in private beta) on top of the QAN blockchain and it was easy to integrate. Deployment time of a private blockchain instance was really impressive and easy. Smart contract deployment was also smooth and strightforward with the available tools.

For the time being, the blockchain uses PoS but Proof of Randomess is upcoming and looks very promising.

I can highly recommend this platform, both for private and public use given the attractive capabilities that it has to offer for companies (cost predictability, multi-language, quantum security,etc.) and to the public (TPS, developer royalties, etc.). It ticks all the boxes.

- The Solidity documentation could be better

- The testnet has been down for some time and the communication from the team could have been better in that regard

- Limited customer (and developer) support so far. The team seems to be focused on the product and getting mainnet out asap. Hope this will improve soon

- Lack of specific libraries like OpenZeppelin for other development languages. This is not fault of the product itself, but until available (perhaps devleloped by the community in the near future), it ´s a constraint for proper smart contract development with other languages.

- Not yet open source (although I understand the reasons and hopefully once mainnet is out the code will be available and open for others to contribute)

- White paper should be updated

- The interaction with the community developers should be improved. It would be great to have a platform available (e.g. git) where bugs could be reported

- The composition and capacity of the team should be more transparent

We are building a proof of concept for our manufacturing and supply chain processes. Our goals are to track each product in our portfolio and ordering processes with our partners and distributors.

We are not an IT company but have a small in-house programmer team. We allocated 5 days to test the free available private blockchains on the market to get a quick knowledge and overview before we waste endless development hours and money with subcontractors.
