"User friendly for the shop floor, and they're the most important!"
5/5
What do you like best about Redzone?

Redzone offers the ability to very quickly see the status of the production floor. It also opens up communication avenues for our associates to all interact, regardless of their position. We have executives and floor associates easily communicating issues and ideas. It also provides an easy way to send encouragement as well as accountability with a few short moves in a touchscreen. What do you dislike about Redzone?

It's very hard to search in the line Logs. I can export and go that route, but it'd be better if there was a better search feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple, visual compliance — easy day-to-day use with clear shift continuity"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Redzone?

Redzone is easy to use on a day-to-day basis and provides clear guidance on what is required for compliance. It enables continuity across all shifts, and the use of pictures provides real-time evidence of compliance, making expectations and status easy to understand. What do you dislike about Redzone?

Building the question templates is too rigid; there need to be improvements such as allowing multiple data-item entries for each question and supporting conditional questioning. Sometimes the enhancement team doesn't seem to fully consider enhancement requests. While generally helpful, the AI can be confusing and contradictory at times — it has told me I can add triggers or reactions in data sheets, but they then don't function or behave as I asked. "Redzone Keeps Our Team Connected and Focused, Real-Time Data, Real Results"
5/5
What do you like best about Redzone?

It keeps our team connected and focused. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Redzone?

The only thing I dislike is that Redzone has so many useful features that it takes time to learn and fully understand everything it can do. I know I’m still not using it to its full potential, but as I continue learning, it becomes easier and even more valuable. Overall, I see this as an opportunity to grow rather than a disadvantage. "Redzone: Real-Time OEE • Real-Time Communication • Real-Time Results"
5/5
What do you like best about Redzone?

Redzone has been incredibly easy to use once it was configured. We began our implementation just two weeks ago, and it’s already helping us identify gaps in our processes that might have otherwise gone unnoticed.

For me, the real value isn’t only the data—it’s the visibility that comes with it. Having real-time insights gives our teams the ability to spot issues sooner, respond faster, improve performance, and support continuous improvement. I’m excited to see the long-term impact as we continue our Redzone journey. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Redzone?

At this point, we haven’t seen any downsides. We are still fairly new to this Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Redzone: Great communication tool that gets better with each update"
5/5
What do you like best about Redzone?

I appreciate that Redzone has continued to improve over time and has become easier to use. I’ve worked in food manufacturing roles that didn’t use Redzone and relied heavily on paperwork, so joining a team that uses Redzone has been a true night-and-day difference. The application is user-friendly, and it’s been straightforward to train and onboard others. Since I began using Redzone, the interface has become even easier for our operators, and Webadmin has become an incredible tool that’s now used by many departments.

I’m genuinely happy to learn and teach Redzone because I’m constantly finding better ways to build quality data sheets and triggers, and to implement new processes that capture the data we need for audits and for other departments. With Redzone, we can pinpoint faults in our food defense by reviewing data that’s easy to access, and we can strengthen our existing plans with helpful images and insights from previous runs. Webadmin also provides multiple ways to view our data, which helps my team identify the right actions to take and follow through to completion. Since working with our coach, Zach Thompson, we’ve updated our OEE numbers by adjusting our Tmax values. We’ve also created more characteristics to help us track product quality and ensure everything stays within the specifications we provide to customers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Redzone?

As someone who joined the team after Redzone was implemented by a previous group, I’ve found it challenging to clean up and maintain the existing data. There are many items with their own naming conventions, as well as data sheets that aren’t being used at all. I wish Redzone offered a feature to help manage older, inactive sheets or products. For example, if something hasn’t been used for “x” number of days, it would be helpful to have a simple way to see that. Or for naming conventions, to have examples of how a trigger was named previously would be nice to see, especially if this could catch if a name has an accidental space after it. I am hoping Champion AI can help with this process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless Team Connectivity and Enhanced Productivity"
5/5
What do you like best about Redzone?

I like how QAD Redzone has transformed our production floor culture to be more connected across each of our departments. Our production, maintenance, and quality teams have a platform to communicate and share information. If our production team encounters a problem on the packaging line, they use the platform to submit an action item or speak directly with our maintenance team. They can share a picture clearly depicting the issue and even make a video if it helps illustrate the problem. I appreciate how it feeds information into Tableau, giving us a broader view of how the facility areas are performing. The switch from calculating OEE in Microsoft Excel to a real-time view in Redzone saved us a lot of time, allowing supervisors to focus on more valuable tasks. The initial setup went well, with our maintenance team installing the sensors, and a representative from Redzone helping validate signals and set up on the correct lines. This has been a positive change in the way we do business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Redzone?

The AI tool was very clunky for us as a team. We were looking to utilize it to improve our huddle experience to have clearer play calls, but it didn't provide that unfortunately. The AI assistants would tell you that it wasn't the correct agent for what you were asking it to do. I think allowing the AI assistants to seamlessly transition between one another would help. "Revolutionized Our Factory Operations and Quality Assurance"
5/5
What do you like best about Redzone?

I love that QAD Redzone really runs our factories effectively by offering a complete operating system. The best aspects for me are the real-time nature of data and factory performance. This drives a proactive approach to performance management and problem-solving. I appreciate how it creates standard routines to create stability and ownership on the factory floor. The Visual Factory feature is very powerful, pulling the team into a performance agenda and allowing them to make autonomous decisions every day. It empowers the front line and provides insightful data for understanding trends and top losses. Redzone also helps create a culture of quality assurance, embedding quality ownership into the factory floor. The consistency from standard hurdles becomes the backbone of our performance system, creating stability and a shared dialogue. Additionally, the system is easy to use, and the feedback from the majority of our team members is very positive. Overall, it has completely transformed how we work, approach data and problems, and trust and enable our teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Redzone?

One issue we find when reviewing performance across factories is that QAD Redzone is primarily based around OEE and downtime plus quality performance. It doesn’t have a feature to import other important metrics such as safety performance, service levels, or attendance. Basically, other metrics that give a balanced performance approach. If the software had a feature that allowed daily import within scorecards and incorporated this into the dashboard reviews, it would allow the meeting structure to live completely within QAD Redzone and not have to bounce in and out of other systems. Also, some improvements could be made to data gathering and upload with more insightful guidelines to help with this process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Redzone can change your company!"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Redzone?

Redzone has a great user interface, offers valuable deployment and coaching support, and helps connect and engage all teams around a common goal. Another major benefit is that all modules integrate seamlessly, especially when compared with stand-alone OEE or compliance software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Redzone?

Not a dislike, more of a missed opportunity! Redzone misses some core value opportunities and selling points that would be relatively easy to add to the application/process. Redzone pushes OEE heavily, which is great, but they don’t focus as much on the value of this software in other areas. Our company's biggest wins and financial savings that directly show on our bottom line have been increasing labor efficiency (through not overstaffing and hitting our target rates), reducing waste (rework and inedible), and pricing/scheduling updates through understanding our actual labor and run rates. We have also had major improvements in labor costs through simply tracking total headcount as a fake location and comparing that to the labor we tracked to all our runs. This internal metric ensures data quality (runs are started/ended on time and people are accounted for) and eliminated almost all of the wasted labor cost from people not being productive, but also not tracked through a Redzone run. Although most of these do impact OEE, they are a lot more meaningful to our company as a value driver of the software. These areas are not pushed or advertised by Redzone, but I think there is a ton of value left on the table at most companies.

More info / example of the labor tracking. Redzone has labor targets by run and will show whether you are appropriately staffed, but for our company (and many others), being able to track all employees—and having the right tools to have visibility to the big picture—is extremely valuable. We use Redzone labor tracking to calculate our labor rates per lb and integrate that into our pricing strategy. By tracking total headcount, we also ensure everyone is assigned to a run throughout the day (labor tracking accuracy), but right now we have to rely on several workarounds to make that happen. "Redzone Delivers Real-Time Visibility and Drives Continuous Improvement"
5/5
What do you like best about Redzone?

Since its inception, Redzone has been instrumental in providing real-time production visibility, strengthening quality checks, and improving operational performance. The platform has helped to improve communication, and decision-making. Responsive support and a smooth onboarding process, great mentoring helped establish Redzone as a key driver of continuous improvement and positive cultural change at Nuovo.. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Redzone?

Lack of decision tree format could be one area to improve. Moving the checks from Production to Quality or vice-versa would improve workflow efficiency and the overall user experience within Redzone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Enhances Visibility, Communication, and Decision-Making"
5/5
What do you like best about Redzone?

I like QAD Redzone for its ease of use, which means our operators don't spend too much time on the iPads. I appreciate the visibility it provides and the communication tools that help everybody be on the same page and make quicker decisions. The new AI software is beneficial, especially for improving our huddles, and adds communication value to team members. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Redzone?

No issues with the Redzone software. I do wish we could delete bad runs instead of having to filter them out during analysis Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
