Now, all the necessary checks are being filled and submitted via Redzone. I have full visibility of the paperwork, including when it was completed and the pass/fail status of the checks. I can better use my time on other tasks. Redzone has also helped me save time on managing work orders much more efficiently.

The only downside of Redzone that there are some programming items that currently are not availble to do within the software.

**What do you like best about Redzone?**

That the company offers a Redzone coach to help implementation and launch of the program at the site. It is user-friendly, but definitely needs an expert to guide the teams. Zach did a very good job being patient with Mead Johnson (Reckitt’s) team.

While Redzone offers a wide range of features and functionality, its complexity can be a bit overwhelming for new users. Some additional training was necessary in the beginning, but now those who initially struggled are thriving.

**What problems is Redzone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using real time data has helped management make better decisions in the moment instead of after the fact. Just simply having visibility to problems and knowing what to focus on has helped us reduce our downtime by 41%.

  ### 25. Best management model I've ever known

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Janaina N. | Analista de Excelência Operacional, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2024

**What do you like best about Redzone?**

Redzone is much more than just an application for measuring OEE. It is a complete system for process management. The application is very intuitive and self-explanatory, the feeling is that we are using a social network. From the beginning of preparation, with the possibility of bulk data loading to the implementation and usability of the tool, everything has been very practical. The ability to generate various reports makes day-to-day easier so that the team can make the best decisions. But the best thing about Redzone, and what really makes a difference, is when we understand the methodology and use it to win the day, the week, and finally the month. The experience with the shop floor and continuous improvement that the coaches have is certainly the key to the success of the implementation. I am the leader of Redzone at the company Ferrara | Dori and I had the privilege of working side by side with Carolina Jovanelle and Caroline Brustein in the implementation of the Productivity, Compliance, and Learning modules in 3 plants. The experience that the two coaches have has been fundamental to the success of the implementation. I consider myself a privileged person because I had the opportunity to learn a lot from the Redzone coaches. Besides learning about the tool itself, we had countless valuable moments and insights that are certainly essential for my professional growth. After the implementation of Redzone, I gained great visibility in the company and I am sure this will open many doors in my career. Besides the Carol's, as I affectionately call them, I had the immense pleasure of meeting Efrain Sanchez, an exceptional person who helped me see several other perspectives, a coach with vast experience in processes who has been an important part of the implementation of the Reliability module.

**What do you dislike about Redzone?**

I have no reservations about the app and the implemented methodology. I believe the Learning module still has some points to be improved, especially in the use of the corporate mode.

**What problems is Redzone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Redzone helped break several paradigms in the company, mainly to have a focus on what is happening now and what we are going to do to change the current result. It helped implement some problem-solving tools like the 5 Whys and the PDCA methodology. It taught us how to use all the modules to improve our results.

**Reviewed by:** Sean A. | Director of Strategic Projects, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 01, 2024

**What do you like best about Redzone?**

Redzone empowers our frontline workers by giving them a voice, allowing us to leverage the expertise of those on the line every day. The platform provides real-time data that keeps everyone in the facility aligned and working together toward shared success. Redzone is an integral part of our daily operations, used consistently across multiple sites.

**What do you dislike about Redzone?**

For multiple production facilities, there isn’t a single, integrated view within the app to see all sites and production lines consolidated in one place.

**What problems is Redzone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Redzone is helping us:
Identify problematic equipment and products
Using Data to help generate ROI's for new equipment
Workforce retention - Redzone is helping us fix equip

  ### 29. Good solution for FSQA needs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nelly M. | Director of FSQA and R&D , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2024

**What do you like best about Redzone?**

I like how user friendly QAD Redzone tool is. Its very intuitive and easy to learn for any user. I like that our people can communicate in different languages, share pictures and keep other team members informed. I like how QAD Redzone helped us to identify points for improvement, I also loike how all team members feel involved. We have full transparency within our team and our people are happy to contribute and suggest solutions. I like that we have all records abvialale within a click for any production run, and we stopped using teh papaer for our HACCP and PC monitoring, verification and product release activities.
Thanks to our coach Christian Paulsen, the implementation was easy and smooth. Chris is very professional, patient and provides answers to most of our questions and concerns.

**What do you dislike about Redzone?**

I wish it was easier to extract the data and download relevant reports. Its really not that easy the way its setup and requires time and skills to extract the data. Another suggestion for improvement is the view for document review and release. It would be easier to see a summary with dirct observations clearly marked. Its extremely important for USDA plants like us.

**What problems is Redzone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Paperless FSQA data collection and management.
Online real time SPC data collection and review for Kaizen events that may increase productivity, reduce customer complaints or improve the quslity of the product overall.
The tool also helps with team communication and communications between the shifts, which results in less mistakes and less waste.

  ### 30. On schedule and helpful

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food Production | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Redzone?**

The most helpful thing for me is that we have better information about how often lines are running, also, it helps increase accountability and visibility for line operators, supervisors, and managers.

**What do you dislike about Redzone?**

That you cannot change data after it has been entered, there have been a handful of times where run rates were inaccurate, rooms were left running when they should have been shut down, or information was entered wrong. The stock reports and OEE dashboards in the RedZone app get thrown off and there is no way to fix it that I am aware of.

**What problems is Redzone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps give more visibility to the management and also give more opportunity to the line operators to be involved with improvements.

  ### 31. RZ has been instrumental in improving communication and tracking issues for our facility

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Angela A. | Buyer / Materials Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Redzone?**

Redzone has enhanced cross-functional communication, provided live production monitoring, enabled issue tracking, and facilitated team-wide celebrations. It has bridged the gap between administrative and production staff, empowering the entire team to succeed together. Redzone also consolidates the organization's biggest challenges in one central location, allowing transparent progress tracking as these issues are resolved.

**What do you dislike about Redzone?**

Redzone captures a vast amount of information daily, making it challenging to locate past communications in the chat. It would be helpful to have a search function within the chat to easily find specific messages, rather than having to scroll through pages of content.

Operators sometimes become frustrated when users do not promptly respond to their messages, even when the user is out of the office. While users make efforts to communicate their availability, operators continue to tag them multiple times, awaiting a response. Implementing an "out of office" setting in Redzone could prevent this issue, ensuring operators do not perceive the lack of response as the user ignoring them.

**What problems is Redzone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Redzone has enhanced cross-functional communication, provided live production monitoring, enabled issue tracking, and facilitated team-wide celebrations. ### 32. Real time data, excellent customer's service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Karina A. | Production Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 02, 2024

**What do you like best about Redzone?**

With Red Zone we are able to access real time data that help us identify areas that need improvement, and improve further on those that are ran at capacity. Communication through the app is easy and accesible to all.
We have been able to save time in many areas with all the different modules that the system provides. Quality is a priority for RedZone and it shows every time they go the extra mile to satisfy our needs. Their customer's service is fantastic and we have been provided with the best exellence coach, Robert Legon, whom is always following up with us, answering all inquires, and works hard to fullfill our needs every time he is on site.
I use Redzone all the time for tracking production, quality, and also to pull information from previous runs.

**What do you dislike about Redzone?**

There isn't anything I dislike. Redzone is amazing and easy to use.

**What problems is Redzone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are paperless in quality audits and can keep track of all productivity issues. We can access reliable, sensor driven performance data.

  ### 33. An overall great implementation.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eric S. | FSQA Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 30, 2024

**What do you like best about Redzone?**

The flexibilty of the system is fantastic. We continue to find ways to use it. We no longer have a wall between production and everyone else in the company. Problems are found and elimintaed. Wonderful communication tool.

**What do you dislike about Redzone?**

I think that there more enhancements that could help. We would like to see RZ send out notifications if breaks or lunch times are over the alloted time. It seems that this capability should be there.

**What problems is Redzone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1. Communications at the floor level.
2.Watching real time production and QA checks
3.Creating form to report safety issues.
4.Trending data that is collected.

All of these things helps management make daily informed decisions.

  ### 34. Great Experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food Production | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Redzone?**

The Automatic Triggers are the best, I like that the system triggers the checks for us.

**What do you dislike about Redzone?**

Not being able to select the samples that do not fit in a specific range.

**What problems is Redzone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Productivity and Compliance.

  ### 35. Launching Redzone at a brownfield. Lights are on!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jesse S. | Plant Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2023

**What do you like best about Redzone?**

Redzone is a great software for tracking OEE, delievering/triggering checks and gaining valuable insight into how your plant is operating. However, having gone through a previous deployement with another company, the most underrated part about the software is how they build communication into everything you do. The ownership that the employees feel when they feel seen and heard is a major piece of why Redzone can be such a boom to your facility. I love how each module is coached in with people that are knowleagble, easy to work with and willing to come alongside your team to help ensure the success of the deployment (shoutout Nick!). The coaches truly care and want to see your culture change from "reading the news" to enabling your team to be proactive by using the app and structure that they bring.

**What do you dislike about Redzone?**

The iOS limitation can be difficult to adapt your facility to depending on what platforms your company uses.

**What problems is Redzone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Efficiency tracking, being paperless and communication between shifts/departments. From a compliance standpoint, it eliminiates significant time that would otherwise be used sifting through papers to see how the plant is performing. All concerns (warnings, fails, misses) are all floated to the top to make sure people are spending time on what matters the most.

  ### 36. Great Tool, Great Support!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Chemicals | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Redzone?**

Redzone is an intuitive tool that helps our team understand their real time results and actions. Our team loves it! Even the folks who don't see themselves as tech savvy have been pleasantly surprised at what a great tool it is. Taylor is a great coach and has provided wonderful guidance and support.

**What do you dislike about Redzone?**

Wish I could see our environment from a PC, and better integration with windows products.

**What problems is Redzone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating more urgency around OEE

  ### 37. Redzone on Production Floor

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food Production | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 02, 2024

**What do you like best about Redzone?**

Redzone has become an extremely valuable tool for our front-line workers. It provides excellent, easy to follow feedback to employees in real time. The ease with which operators can communicate with maintenance teams and other support staff has developed wonderful engagement towards problem solving in real time. Having Madison onsite, working on the floor has been fantastic. She is a great resource and has become someone the employees trust and are happy to see when she visits.

**What do you dislike about Redzone?**

Early on there was some fear that Redzone was being installed to monitor and track individuals. Through conversations with all levels of leadership, folks quickly realized how useful a tool this was going to be for them in their day-to-day work.

**What problems is Redzone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to focus much more and deep dive into the real issues that may be affecting a production line.

  ### 38. Educational

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Redzone?**

Take time to know the ways. In time you can get better

**What problems is Redzone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Improvement Fosus

  ### 39. Transformational for Operations Efficiency & Teamwork

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tom W. | CEO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Redzone?**

Operating Efficiency
Ease of Use
Ease of Implementation / Integration

**What do you dislike about Redzone?**

No issues. The key is to focus on "garbage in, garbage out" and make sure to take time in excluding known downtime for lunches, breaks, etc.

**What problems is Redzone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We couldn't measure exact labor content by SKU
We couldn't measure exact reasons and cost for various downtime issues
We couldn't communicate effectively in foreign language

  ### 40. The Redzone experience has been great and instrumental to part of my success in my current position.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eric E. | Continuous Improvement specilist / Rezone administrator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Redzone?**

It is extremely helpful to have an application that provides a simple solution for gathering data and using that data to consistently find ways to improve operations and the overall success of the organization.

**What do you dislike about Redzone?**

While updates to improve the application are often extremely useful, the frequency of updates is sometimes a little much.

**What problems is Redzone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Improvements in Redzones Tableau

  ### 41. The Redzone Experience

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lacey S. | ERP Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 23, 2024

**What do you like best about Redzone?**

It is difficult to name one thing that I like best about Redzone. I like the robustness of this user-friendly software. This software creates opportunities that drive cross departmental conversations. The Redzone App provides an excellent introduction for companies practice transparency.

I cannot say enough about the Redzone Team members. This team delivers excellent support during implementation and training and post-implementation. Their team is encouraging, informative and focused on delivering a stellar customer experience.

**What do you dislike about Redzone?**

An area of opportunity for improvement is the permissions. I feel that the permissions categories are too general. There needs to be more selection options.

**What problems is Redzone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Redzone helps us to identlify and address: accurate labor:product run ratio, product giveaways and production equipment issues. However, the largest benefit has been vastly improved interdepartmental communications .

  ### 42. We have eliminated so much paperwork and reduced our needs for so many binders.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alan M. | Director of Quality Assurance, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Redzone?**

Having everything at the tips of my fingers. I no longer have to search for a specific binder.

**What do you dislike about Redzone?**

The overal cost for a small business. I want all the modules.

**What problems is Redzone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Instant communication with everyone in the company. Redzone allows us to document and record effortlessly. We have saved so much time not having to search for specific binders. Rarely do you find a software program that allows you to easily customize and build in by yourself without waiting for programmers to make changes.

  ### 43. Redzone as a Product is Great, Redzone as a Company is also Great.

**What do you dislike about Redzone?**

**What problems is Redzone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Productivity, reporting and visibility

  ### 47. Less Time in Meetings!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Claire M. | Director of Human Resources, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Redzone?**

• From my HR perspective, our management meetings now focus more on large scale issues & we don't get bogged down in the weeds with little issues happening here and there because they've already been documented and resolved.
• From my HR perspective, I've received fewer employee complaints over frustration due to false blame. For example, getting blamed for something that happened on the previous shift or blamed for not cleaning an area at the end of their shift. Everyone now has a way to report conditions at the start , during, and at the end of shift.
• From my HR perspective, integration can be a lot like herding cats, and EMILY was swell at ensuring that all team members stayed on track with implementation participation, deadlines, and goals.

**What do you dislike about Redzone?**

From my HR perspective, the only recurring negative remark that I've heard is the tremendous cost committment. Internally, this was an expensive investment. Externally, when I attend area industry meetings and brag about our successful RedZone implementation, I always hear a few groans and comments such as "Yeah, we looked into it but it's not affordable given our budget."

**What problems is Redzone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't need a RedZone iPad, but as HR, our management meetings are speedier and they now focus more on big picture issues rather than little issues here and there. I've also seen a reduction in employee friction and frustration due to operations.

  ### 48. Great visual and communication tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mathew c. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Redzone?**

The ability to analyse data more readly,
i like the visibility of the overall factory performance, OEE and downtime trends.
the communcation aspect of redzone is a lot more efficient easily accessable by all departments.

**What do you dislike about Redzone?**

the limitation now is that we can only upload 1 photo at a time. and also not able to upload stored videos.
i would like the ability the search in the log.
i would like to see the timeline of checks filled alone the production runs.

**What problems is Redzone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Redzone has enabled us to focus on the key areas of downtime.
the aiblity of uploading photos and videos at the time of the incident and able to help to identify the root cause of the problems more efficently.
The actions has helped enginers to keep tracks of current tasks that they are working on and allowing smoother handover between shifts. so they are aware what tasks are outstanding.

  ### 49. Quality take on Redzone compliance

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** barbara k. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Redzone?**

i love the visibility of redzone for the whole factory and i really enjoy the communication aspect of Redzone, i now have direct contact with the factory at any time, the level of engagement between department is unseen before.
the compliance module has enable full visiblity of what checks are being made, if its fail or pass or missed. we can directly make changes

**What do you dislike about Redzone?**

there are some limitations when we do compliance module, for example each check must be linked to a production run or we wouldn't be able to sign off.
We can only copy data sheets and we can't copy triggers!

**What problems is Redzone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

now i can see all the paper work that's been done on each production run.
the way the datasheet is set up, we can now clearly instruct each operatior what are the next steps if a check is failed.
the photos and videos uploads from the front line has helped to prevent any incidents that can impact the business and it gives a voice to the packing floor. they now have a direct link to the management teams for any improvement ideas.
