The PVcase Roof Mount is an easy-to-use, intuitive, and highly detailed program that I use frequently. With great ease, we can conduct a study with photovoltaic panels on your roof regardless of the building's shape. It is a comprehensive program that provides us with the necessary elements to export the total values of the equipment under study. It is a program that can be easily implemented in a work team, subsequently providing autonomy in the work developed. PVcase should consider long-term compatibility with BIM software, taking into account the evolution of programs and work methods. PVcase could have some command or method that could read a BIM model without the need to create a volume for panel installation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

PVCase roof mount is a very intuitive program, even if you don't have a lot of AutoCad experience. It is structured very nicely, so your workflow does not get messed up. What I escpecially like, is the electrical part. Manual stringing works really good and linking strings to any desired MPPT input of the inverter can be done easily. The newly introduced shading tool with a lot of automated tools was one of the big things we waited for and is implemented very good. The last point would be the customer service, which mostly responds within minutes after writing the email and problems are mostly solved within an hour.

There are still a few features missing:

- something like a compass, which rotates the building as desired (changing the WKS does not do the trick for all features)

- Possibility to export it to PVCase Yield (as with PVCase Ground Mount)

It is a huge time saver and allows for changes/iterations in designs very easily. The 3D modeling is very intuitive and allows for easy export to PVsyst. Additionally, whenever we have a question, email support is prompt and helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

-Its integration in AutoCAD.

-It is intuitive and reliable for implementing module installation.

-The distribution of strings and wiring is fast.

-The bill of materials for measurements is very useful.

-The 3D design can be exported to simulate different scenarios.

What I like least is the rigidity of the license.

3D buildings are very easy to build, and several obstacles, such as balconies, chimneys, and restriction zones, that are commonly found on sloped roofs, can be added. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
