The integration into ACAD, as well as the ease of learning the software has made PVcase extremely useful for layout creation, collision detection, and preliminary shading studies. PVcase representatives are also easily accessible and have been able to answer any questions I've had. The number of new updates have also been impressive, which makes me hopeful that they may fix any issues that I do have in the near future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The civil engineering tools are a bit lacking at the moment. It can do basic cut and fill calculations based on the input topographic data, but there is almost no control over areas to prioritize, or whether you would rather cut more than fill or vice versa. Additionally, I've run into some issues when importing tracking modules into PVsyst which cause the panels tilts to seem completely random, though I cannot be sure that the issue lies with PVcase rather than some glitch within PVsyst. The frequency of usage of PVCase for me is quite a lot for designing projects. PVCase implementation is quite simple and integrates seamlessly with AutoCAD and can be initiated by just typing in the command "PVCase". The time saving ability of the PVCase ground mount tool is the key factor in helping me to deliver the project in a timely manner to the clients and help to elevate the quality standards for the organization. The stringing tool and cabling tool in the software helps to design the project and get the output we need in a clear and a concise way. The interface is also easy to understand which makes this tool easier for the beginners in designing a project. The customer support is really responsive with both technical and product related questions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes there are times where the software becomes a bit unresponsive and crashes. This makes the user to rework on the things and start afresh. And that is something that can be looked into the team Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
PVcase is such a game changer for PV layout design. The interface is so intuitive so even our most junior PV designers can be brought up to speed on the features in a short period of time. Large utility scale layouts that took days to populate can now be populated in a matter of minutes with minimal post processing required. This tool is absolutely vital to the success of our team. I have not learned the ins and outs of the terain adaptation feature that allows a shade scene with topography included to be input into PVsyst, so I can not speak to the accuracy of this tool. I am hoping to learn more about this feature and test it's functionality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is simple to implement and use, very fast for making variations of implementations, and good results for all project phases, including development, basic engineering, and detailed projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't like the result achieved with the earthworks, as it makes all the earth movement by terraces, and it neither balances the total volume of these nor optimizes it. I think they are working on improving this.
High cost and online licenses cannot be used for multiple non-simultaneous users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
With PVCase, layout design and electrification are very intuitive and quick to carry out, with multiple scenarios being able to be created in order to arrive at the best solution for the project, which is only possible thanks to software automation.
Customer support is super fast and helful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sizing the cables, there should be some way of automatically extracting the number of grouped circuits, as well as indicating whether the installation method is aerial or buried. In a utility scale project, in addition to the automatic length that PVcase already provides, if the installation method and the number of grouped circuits were automatically differentiated, it would be a huge step. Ability to adapt to any situation and design requirement. Ability to meet basic and conceptual design needs, as well as to support detailed engineering. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Small improvements can be made regarding the ability to perform automatic designs with certain constraints (e.g., electrical losses or cable length). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have developed a large number of projects with this design software, very comprehensive for the implementation of photovoltaic structures. It allows obtaining precise and reliable data to completely finalize the design of the structures, optimizing the use of materials and reducing the deviations that may occur in the works. It would be good to be able to organize the menus in an alternative way, maintaining the logical order to follow according to the part of the project development being worked on. Some menu options could be more intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Easy to learn, plenty of features, regular updates and enhancements. Best product on the markets so far. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Needs work for adapting the software to US requirements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The most useful aspect of PVcase in the bidding phase of a project is the speed with which different layouts can be generated or modified, which greatly accelerates timelines. In the detailed engineering phase, the cabling part helps to quickly obtain measurements. Compatibility with the PVsyst program is another strong point for being able to perform realistic simulations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It has to improve the Civil part of the program, allowing more freedom in the configuration and improving the measurements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Lo único que podría comentar es que no calcula movimiento de tierras de los viales de la planta ni de los bloques de power stations u otros edificios. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
