I've really enjoyed how intuitive the software interface is as well as the ability to customize arrays while also keeping the fundamentals required to design a solar array. My favoritie feature would be the ability to analyze grading and model my system in regards to the geology within any given site. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I run into minor bugs but the support team is quick to identify them with me and push them into the update queue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The design and accessibility to the calculations of a photovoltaic plant in an intuitive and agile manner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have been using PVcase for 4 years and to this day I have nothing negative to comment on. When something hasn't worked for us, the technical service has contacted us and resolved it as quickly as possible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recently, I have started using PVcase to design and plan a photovoltaic park and I am extremely satisfied with the results. This software has become essential for our team because it is a tool that integrates, simplifies, and facilitates the work. Additionally, it has excellent technical support available for necessary inquiries. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We have noticed that some areas can be improved, but the truth is that there is nothing I don't like about the program. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
- The program allows you to quickly create several different layouts, saving you time.
- The program has an easy-to-interact interface and a variety of tools for more complete analysis of the plant's terrain and the electrical configurations of the equipment.
- Program that allows shadow analysis.
- Customer support is very fast! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are no negative aspects. There are possibilities for improvement:
- Program could suggest cable specifications
- Challenge: to implement a feature for water flow inside the plant. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The ease with which you can design PV projects with just a kmz, being able to add the terrain and create a 3D design in an easy and intuitive way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I like least is that sometimes the 3D design lacks relief and the layout needs to be moved slightly to fit the terrain. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The thing that helps the most in the design of a PV system with pvcase is certainly the possibility of generating the system layout with a simple click, therefore in the system definition phase in which the modification of system components such as panels, inverters often occurs etc. this possibility allows you to save a lot of time. The difficulty in differentiating LV and solar cables in generating the electrical section. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

PVCase is really easy to use and with allows to do a solid PV Project. The only software that my company uses. Also, PVCase offers a really nice and quick support when needed it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
This software has still to improve some of his functions, especially in Civil Analysis. The values for Cut and Fill still aren´t close to reallity when you compare with other softwares alike. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It allows carrying out both preliminary and more in-depth designs with all kinds of restrictions and limitations on the terrain. The possibility of importing kmz files with polygons and geographic restrictions and directly referencing the plan saves a lot of time. The civil study is also very good. In cases where there are many restrictions, it can be tedious for the software to require that all of them must be composed of closed polylines. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
pvcase is a very useful software for a first analysis of a site in a precise and fast way. It manages to develop a layout in a short time allowing also to consider the shading, the trend in 3d of the terrain and the slopes of the site studied.
The main advantages that pvcase offers are the possibility to geolocalize the layout and have the possibility to export everything immediately to pvsyst for a producibility analysis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As for pvcase ground mont I have not to report any negative aspects. One advice I would give is to work on the pvcase yield, as it can be an excellent solution that can replace pvsyst, but is not now properly developed. I got to try the software and found the following issues:
• No library that automatically updates for inverters and modules
• Problems with weather data because you can’t use Meteonorm 8.0 which is currently what we use in Pvsyst simulations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
