Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Its easy and intuitive way of working, helping to obtain consistent results in a simple manner. Also highlighting the technical service, always offering a lot of support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes the repetition of a process is necessary to obtain the desired results, but fortunately it does not happen often and is usually resolved quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The simplicity with which a valid layout can be created, modifying the strings and panels thus creating more solutions and in a short time for various scenarios. It offers various solutions and especially takes into account the terrain's slope, inclination, and facilitates shadow analysis. Very important is also the support that impeccably follows the clients, furthermore, the program provides the possibility to be integrated with other interfaces. I now use it daily for my work. One should have the possibility to change language. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The ability to design large-capacity PV plants, both in terms of earth movement and to electrify the entire project within a single application. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
In the electrification part, the low voltage wiring sometimes does not follow the selected trenches. It is easy to notice this error but it makes you have to redo the implementation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like that, to generate a preliminary study, where you need to make a layout, review the terrain, carry out a photovoltaic implementation for a study of kwp/m2 to be implemented, with pvcase it can take me... between 10 and 20 minutes? The agility in this case is amazing.
Another point I love is the technical support service they have. It's fast and furious. They respond to you immediately, and if they don't know the answer at that moment, it takes them 2 minutes to find out and respond to you. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Among other things, the topography that pvcase refers to is improvable, but as they are always releasing software improvements, they will correct it at some point. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The biggest advantage is the time savings when carrying out projects. Apart from that, visually it is a very intuitive program, which makes it much easier to learn how to use it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The biggest disadvantage is that despite its many improvements, it is still not possible to transfer the tables in 3D to a more visual real 3D environment like Google Earth, so for complex terrains, the automatic wiring continues to fail. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is a tool that allows reducing work time and its handling is simple. It allows integration with PVsyst. Additionally, the support we receive from PVcase is fast and useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would like to have the possibility of obtaining trench measurements in both low and medium voltage by typologies and also ease when changing a layout with one pitch to a different pitch. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
PVCase is extremely helpful making it possible to automatically draw PV plant layouts with different pitchs and structure in just a few clicks. Among other tools, this software allows the user to draw and calculate the length of cables, in addition to easily do the electric distribution of a PV project. The possibility of exporting the layout de PVSyst is one of the most useful aspects of this software. The customer support is great and was available by chat whenever I needed, with a very fast response. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The MDT module can be a bit complicated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
PVCase Ground Mount is the PV design tool I currently find most suitable for my job, it helps me designing solar plants with the topography included and it is compatible with other softwares I use in my daily routine. The support they provide for any issue that matters when working with the software is remarkable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some features when working with trackers since it is a techology constaly evolving, and more options for the civil analysis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like the most is that it is very easy to export the resulting terrains and slopes to PVSyst, which makes the generation simulations more accurate. It also optimizes the quantities of earth movement and times in the designs, giving you exact coordinates and slopes according to the entered tolerance parameters. I would like it to have the option to limit slopes in the East-West direction for the trackers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
