Pterodactyl is for me the best game panel at the moment, Pterodactyl provides us with everything we need to manage our game servers, the community of this panel is also incredible and many addons are available to make the panel more beautiful Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I did not find any defect for Pterodactyl. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like to manage the load of my applications on the server, application correction, and remote connection. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Personally I require another type of connection to the server through the system to avoid installing other unnecessary programs that slow down my system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

One of the best feature in Pterodactyl must be that it keeps all applications in Dockers aka containers. It helps contain memory usage, CPU usage, and security. Let's say if an application has a memory leak, it will not keep consuming the computer's entire memory. The Pterodactyl docker is what keeps it contained, whatever amount of memory and storage you allocate to it. Containers are also easy to sterilize in case of an accident. I do not like the dark mode theme on Pterodactyl. I wish they can make a light mode, so it's better to see in the day. Plus, some people have disability conditions that do not allow them to read white text over a dark background easily. I have requested them for a light theme, but they won't ship it in releases. They just tell you to modify the files and make our own theme. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love the CPU core pinning feature in Pterodactyl. It dedicates specific cores to the process instead of splitting the load across all cores. This manages the CPU usage efficiently without having to worry about a process hanging up or hogging all the system resources due to an eror. Pterodactyl also has an OOM killer option, which is really great in case your program overuses the system memory. We also have the option to view all nodes and allocated memory per node, which prevents us from over allocating or using too much resources because we know what is on there first. I don't like the dark mode in Pterodactyl Panel. I know it could be changed with a theme, but if they could ship it with light mode or make the Panel template easier to change instead of rebuilding the panel files every time you edit something, then this would be better for us. I also don't like the frequency of daemon releases in Pterodactyl panel because of a "security issue" or something. It was called Daemon before, and now it's called "wings"? I kind of feel like the updates are too often but that's alright with me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I like best about Pterodactyl Panel is the fact of the beautiful design the team has made for the panel. The Pterodactyl Panel has great features from the user side to admin side of the panel.
Pterodactyl Panel provides a summary page of all the server nodes with its current CPU, memory and other usage information useful to the logged in administrator. It can help with repairs and etc.
Another great feature is the use of community themes. You can use themes for the panel which has its ups and downs. Mostly a good feature because the person installing the panel may not like the standard theme so installing a theme adds a more personalized experience for the company to the user instead of an overused theme across other hosting companies. I personally dislike that Pterodactyl Panel only allows SFTP (SSH File Transfer Protocol) which gets customers confused. YES, it's secure and that's a GREAT feature but customers aren't familiar with SFTP and creates confusion which ends up having support tickets opened on how to process file transfers across their personal servers. I LOVE Pterodactyl Panel hands down. It's literally one of the best and easy panel's out there for game server hosting and our customers enjoy using it. This panel supports many different games. Unlike Multicraft and TCAdmin it can support almost all games in one panel while multicraft only supports Minecraft. This is very beneficial to use since we don't have to have 2 different panels set up for our customers. Not only that, TCAdmin looks very bad and outdated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
So far I have no complaints about Pterodactyl Panel, although I'm still getting used to and am new to the software so I'm sure something will arise. So far, though, no complaints. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
